I went for a gel polish change that I paid $25 for the next day the gel chipped off. Called and had them redone by the manager and again the gel chipped. Took my daughter there to get her nails done because they are the only ones open on Sunday and she couldn't wait to go see my nail lady and .... her nails all fell off. 1 the next day and all the others followed with in a 3 day span. I had a GREAT experience with Nail Tique today! They have recently had new renovations and have MOVED from the Mall, there new address is: 1817 Riverdale St, West Springfield. About five minutes from the mall. I arrived very late and Ricky, the adorable owner stayed late for me. I was there with two other women and had really great service. Ricky has recently taken over ownership over Nail Tique! All of his employees were super personable and sweet. I got a french pedicure and gel manicure, no bumps, perfect paint job and a very long hand/leg massage. He was patient with me as I am typically OCD with my nails and made sure I liked my nails. I was really impressed because most nail artists don't take the time to get to know there customers and perfect there job! He went above and beyond for me. I am very impressed with this spa, it moved from the Holyoke mall to 1817 Riverdale rd. In West Springfield and it's awesome everyone is so friendly and accommodating the place is SPOTLESS, parking is excellent way to get to, when your there it's like your stress levels instantly disappear. Guy took less than 5 minutes and I left the salon with being able to see all the lines where he used the sander, I have acrylic all over my hands and under my nails, and I have nail polish all over my hands too! Then they charged me an extra $3 to trim the nails shoeter. I'm going to have to go to a different nail salon TODAY to get my nails fixed. I'm pissed! Read Less

The worst manicure and pedicure I've had in a very long time. I stopped here because another salon closed and I couldn't have been more disappointed. An older woman started but she couldn't concentrate for talking to all the other techs and everyone who walked in. I couldn't believe it. She half cut my nails and cuticles and I had to ask her several times to file down the nails because they were still too long. Midway through, a younger girl took over, filing my nails but leaving jagged edges. The nail polish was too thick and took forever to dry, my cuticles are still jagged.  I usually let them decide what design to put on my big toe--worse design and color choices ever. Because I was late for an appointment (thanks to the first woman) I couldn't ask to have them redone. I never have to do that usually. I have been coming here for years and have left satisfied every time with my gel full sets. I had my last visit 2 weeks ago and left very unpleased. My gel full set looked awful, there was bumps all in my nails that were very noticeable. Plus, the nails fell off after a week. I paid way too much for how bad my nails turned out. They left my nails completely different lengths different shapes and half of them are on crooked they are way too thin, you can see the line where my fake nail begins. I got a nail file from target and re did them myself in the parking lot. Worst manicure ever. Read Less

My acrylic nails are completely different lengths. My left thumb nail is much shorter than my right. I've had them done for one day and two people have noticed this without me saying anything. It is very obvious. None of my nails were filed straight. They were rough and made me bleed. Very expensive. Had to wait an extra 15 minutes despite making an appointment. However, the gel is nice and they did a great job with the design. They did a decent job with the acrylic application. There is some gel on my cuticles but not enough to peel off, hopefully. Go to Today's Nails in the mall instead. They aren't that great either, but they are better than this. Read Less

I would give this salon less than one star if that were possible. I understand that it is under new ownership and I want to say that if this is how the woman plans to run her new business, she'll be closed by this time next year. I came in for a quick simple wax and I was in a hurry because we had dinner reservations and movie tickets. Because I was in a hurry I politely informed and asked the woman at the desk how long it would be and she said "uhhh, not long". There was nowhere to sit so we just stood awkwardly in the open doorway waiting for somebody to take us. When someone tells you something will be not long you assume it'll be maybe 5 to 10 minutes but 15 minutes went by and nobody even checked in on us. Ten minutes after that, still no one checked in with us or even acknowledged us for that matter, so we just walked out. I normally wouldn't have even noticed the time except we had reservations, like I mentioned. I realize that this is a cruddy salon in a cruddy mall, but still. Lying to your customer's face then ignoring them for almost half an hour while you gossip with your friend who is getting her nails done next to you won't get you anywhere in this business lady... in fact, it's downright unacceptable. First time at this place and it a tiny place. They deff need a renovation done. But I got a full set gel and they charged me 55$ which is pretty expensive compared to what I payed at other salons. Not too thrilled about the job they did. For the money that I payed they could have done a better job. Read Less

I just left from getting a full set of gel nails. I was so pleased in the beginning until my nails got painted and I was told to go sit under the dryer without a gel overcoat. When I asked why she wasn't putting the overcoat she said that they don't do that and i would have to get the gel polish which was an extra $20. I've never been to any nail salon where this was the case. I proceeded to walk out and smudged a nail because the gel overcoat was not on them. So now I have to go pay another place to redo the paint and put the overcoat on. The stuff just talked in their own language and none of them were having conversations with the customers. I am completely disgusted by their customer service and knowledge on how to do nails. If I could give 0 stars I would. Read Less
