Van is great and does an amazing job!! They have a huge wall of color choices, too. I recommend making an appointment it’s a very busy salon. They had a lot of walk-ins when I was there and Van took them all graciously although it took away from the time from the customers that had a scheduled appointment. I love Hi-Shine Nails! They always do a great job and they're very meticulous, making sure I don't leave with anything short of perfect nails. They can do designs much better then anywhere else I've been. I get compliments on my nails everywhere I go whenever they're done by Hi-Shine. Not to mention they're very reasonable priced! I have to say very clean, staff very friendly,van and husband very nice. But, pricing to me is high. It states 18.00 for acrylic fill, if you want short stubby nails that's what that pays for. I have always had beautiful lengthy nails and it works well for me, now they charge more for that, not fair you don't use that much more in acrylic, I know because I am a licenced manicurist. No where does it state regular long nails. I does how ever state stilleto shape which is very pointed, wide width which is very wide at tips, and last coffin shape which is basically shaped like and old wooden coffin. And then they try to talke you into gel coatings which is way out of crazy price.. I went there for nail take off which should have been 8.00 and then a full set acrylic with free French tips, for 28.00 total should have been 36.00 but oh no, she charged me for painted white tips plus a gel coat I didn't want, total she charged was 45.00 dollars... never again.... not worth it to me Read Less

This place was very clean, quick service, and high quality! The pedicure we got was so relaxing- massage chairs and lighted pedicure spa baths. It included a massage, mud mask, and hot stone treatment. Lots of gel polishes to choose from. Professional enviorment, no loud music or TVs. They take appointments and walkins. I know I'm not in a major city, so I kept that in mind when coming here. I would suggest doing the same for any future customers.They do have a good selection of nail polishes, various colors and brands. The service was fast and professional. I'm hoping they clean their tools after they are done with their patrons, because I did not see that while I was there.I got a nail polish change on my toes ($10). I uploaded a photo - not the best job, I could probably have done just as well.I got a gel manicure ($26) with a small design on my ring fingers (added $4). It seemed like a fair price to pay. Went in for an acrylic set which is $25 while a shellac manicure is $26(Umm what..? Makes no sense to me but ok)I've only had gel sets prior(at other places). Not a very smooth look. Few nails have an uneven, crevices texture by the cuticle. And I feel like they purposefully left more space than necessary between cuticle and the fake nail. It's been a little over one week (my nails don't grow fast) but it looks like it's been significantly longer judging by the spacing. I have been to many salons over the years and never quite happy. I had been over in the area where the salon is to buy fish at the store in their plaza and saw Hi-Shine Nails. So I went on reviews and every sing one of them was stellar! So I decided to go and made an appointment with Van. She is warm, and very friendly and is very professional. She makes sure your nails look perfect! You do not feel rushed and all the other nail techs are saying hello and very friendly. Van let me know she would be gone on a vacation at some point and to trust all her nail techs. That they all are great , she promised me! Besides she has a thousand colors to choose from! I've been here many times and it's not going to be written about in some spa magazine, this is western Mass after all. What this salon is that makes them stand out for me is that the owner is friendly as hell. I don't feel uncomfortable at all! Prices are fair and in line with the other salons.
