I am very happy with the service I receive at Cute. I see Sydney by appointment several times a month for dip nails and gel pedicures. Worst nail salon experience I've ever had. First off, my mom and I made appointments to get our nails done together. We had to wait at least 15 minutes and then there was only one woman available, so the lady started on mom's nails while I just sat there waiting. Then one lady tried separating us to opposite ends of the salon. Seriously??? We came at the same time for a reason. Finally when my mom's manicure was practically done someone started working on my nails. She was ru...de, rushing, and pushy. My nails were long and pretty beforehand and this lady filed them down so short before I even realized the damage that was done, not to mention my nails are now lop-sided and a very strange shape. She rushed right though and didn't even massage my hands at all. Today, only one day after getting my nails done, I realize that she didn't even paint all the way to my cuticle and it already looks like the gel is growing out. I used to go here faithfully when I lived in Rutland and loved it, now that I live further away I've tried several other more local nail salons and none if them have come close to cute!!! Always friendly, clean, never much of a wait if any and always meet or exceed what I'm looking for as far as shape, design and length of my nails. Can't say enough good things!!!! Read Less

Good nail place! Its fairly new, and very clean and especially on the weekends, its WELL staffed. I have yet to encounter the make owner that off put some other folks but so far everyone I have dealt with there has been a joy to work with. This is surely a place where regulars go, as they are well known and anticipated. That's cool, and walking in brand new to the scene, I didn't feel that out of place.The front and larger part of the salon it's dedicated to nails with the whole right wall being nails and the whole left wall being pedicure chairs. They had to do this since the worst part of getting a pedicure is waiting for one on a Saturday morning. The waiting area is nice too! All they need is some beverages. I saw cases of water in back but I was never offered. Decent color selection for regular lacquer and a nice broad selection of gel colors. I was about to get a gel mani when a younger nail tech offered the dip Gel nails I had only heard of. I got them and I'm totally sold. There's nowhere as much nail damage with these as acrylics but they are just as sturdy and much more natural looking :(get the french don't waste money on ones that look fake) BUT they still do damage your nails and probably not practical if you go way more than 2 weeks between fill-ins like I do. I'll do the dip nails again for summer since It requires less maintenance but I'll switch back to the regular gels for winter to avoid extended nail damageIts comfortable inside. Lots of TVs to stare at if you don't feel like making idle conversation with the pedicurist, but they are all very pleasant should you want to make small talk.  The Regular pedicure came our great and though relaxing I could have used a bit more grit and elbow grease on my heels, but no matter, the sheets no longer stick to my feet! The pedi chairs are a bit tired and some look old but they are functional, clean and strong on the back massagers. It was only while dazing off in the pedi chair that I noticed the had a hair salon too! Wow. Only 2 stylists and 3 chairs but how nice! Its at the back of the salon and even on a busy Saturday with no appointment, they took me to touch up my roots and blow dry. My hair is particularly angry all the time so it took her almost 3 hours but between juggling other customers and tending to the phones she did great. I so wish I could remember her name! Its a family owned business but they do have a direct dial line to the hair salon for appointments. that said, It was a little weird but not a big deal that I had to pay separately for nails and hair.  My hair stayed super shiny and styled up for several days!Overall, it's a big nail salon so it's not that intimate day spa feel but it is the type of place for a busy mom, working woman with no time or a nice place to get a coffee and catch up with a friend. The salon is clean and the staff is very friendly. Great place for a mani and pedi. Quality products and staff. However, the male owner is completely disrespectful to his staff/parter. In general his demeanor is very standoffish. He got in a verbal argument with his partner in front of the entire salon. Pedicure felt and looked great! But by the time I got home it was clear the the dry skin on my heels and toes was flaking and rough again - not enough exfoliation. I had acrylic tips and gel dipping powder - so cool - so much easier than the old way of globbing on the fill goo and NO adding acid to your nail to pit it so the goo sticks - sooo much healthier for your nails. My only complaint here - I wanted something between an almond and stiletto point - so not pointy enough and a tad longer than I wanted them. I went in to get a full set of acrylics on a Friday evening before they closed for the day on July 29th. She did not trim my real nails or do anything with my cuticles at all. I called them on Monday and she told me to come in days so I did. She then proceeded to tell me that my nails grew out and that is why there is such a big space looking like they need to be filled in. This is not even 3 days later!!! She shaved them down and said she was done. It has now been a week and after paying $52.00 for what I was told was $28.00 they not only have very chipped nail Polish but also look like they are at least a month old... Definitely would not recommend. This place is very expensive and they really don't do that good of a job. I paid the same amount for my toes that I did for my acrylics and that's not right. It was a horrible experience. Poor customer service, including not even being greeted when we first came in. Wait time was short but manicure was rushed, nail tech didn't use wrapped nail tools and snapped at me most of the time there. She rushed my gel French manicure, cut me several times around my cuticles and didn't give me a chance to say that the white tips were too wide before shoving my hand under the uv light dryer. Then after when massaging my hands pulled on my thumb so hard it hurt me enough that I jumped in my seat. Upon which she seemed offended that I didn't like to be in pain. I have been coming here since it opened. Like most places they are amazing right out of the gate. The atmosphere has remained clean and pleasant...the staff however could use some education on customer service and appointment setting. Kevin is great...and sandy were great they are both gone now unfortunately. Love Lana out back... Sydney is rude and quip when replying. Went today to get a mani and pedi and have to say the place is very nice, they did a great job with my nails. I was there toward the end of the day and they were all cleaning and couldn't believe how they were whipping down all the chairs top to bottom, clean towels were being folded, the foot tubs were all being cleaned, floors being swept, everyone was cleaning.  Especially since I've seen on the news when they go undercover to nail salons to see how clean they are and most places are not clean. Called this place to make an appt for eyebrows. They told me I didn't need an appt as long as I got there by 3pm. Came in 40 min after I got off the phone w the OWNER and all of a sudden not one person in the entire establishment had 5 min to do eyebrow waxing. The women, Bella was very rude to me. Told me she had no time. I explained that I called and she could care less. I went back and spoke to guy at desk and owner overheard me complaining. I mean we did just spend 25 min in traffic to get there because they did tell me they could do the brows. Owner said well it wasn't busy when you called and I said that's exactly why I wanted to make an appt and YOU told me I didn't need one. I come here all the time and just bought over $100 in gift cards. I will NEVER come back. These people should know that it's not about the problems you cause it's how you handle them and your customer service skills suck! I can't believe the type of people that get into the industry of dealing with the public. There really should be some sort of test. Decided to try this nail salon because it just opened near my house. Very nice inside and prides themselves on their cleanlieness. They take tools out of package right in front of you!
