Was expecting a salon like experience. They have a parking lot which is a plus in harwich however the girls working talked about every client after they checked out, that is a major disappointment to do in front of other clients.  My pedicure started late which was fine but my chair was also broken. One of the other nail technicians decided to do her own toes while on a break right after I sat down in a chair next to me.  Why wouldn't they give her the broken chair?  Felt rushed they wanted to get out of there so I opted for the express pedicure. Got a pedicure here. Not very welcoming from the start. Front desk were all in there phone. I waited for a short time. My nail tech didn't even introduce herself just said my name and follow me. Water was like warm and she didn't fix it. Talked about her problems the whole time. And I get it. We all have stuff going on but seriously? The whole time. Massage was like my 4 year old running my leg. And that's being generous. For $50 it was very disappointing and I won't be back. I wanted to switch from the quick nail salon to an actual salon but I'm back going to the ones on ever corner. I felt like I went to Long Horn and ended up with McDonald's if you know what I mean. Unfortunately my monthly appointment was cancelled because the barber got sick, so I looked locally for a men's hair cut. Having seen Heather's Hairport along Main Street for years, I was happy to come across their website and see that they offer a very reasonably priced gentlemen's haircut. It was easy to book an appointment (they are open late weekdays) after work with Wendy.Wendy was prompt, professional, friendly, and did a great job with my cut. She asked good questions about how I styled my hair and liked it cut, without feeling like I had to give step-by-step instructional, as is often the case when getting a cut with a new person. I was very disappointed with this salon. I was with a group that had hair and makeup done for a wedding. The disappointment comes mostly from the makeup. But my hair started falling out by the time we got back to our hotel. I do have very fine, hard to work with hair so I sort of understood on that end. The makeup however, was horrible. I should have just done it myself. As I was waiting to get mine done, the makeup artist was working on my cousin. Her face literally looked green and there was SO much contouring it looked terrible. We spoke up how it didn't look right and she just kept saying it was supposed to look like that. My cousin finally said "it's ok I'll fix it at home." The makeup artist was fine with that. I was much more vocal than my cousin about my likes and dislikes, so my makeup looked ok. But, the lashes I paid extra for started coming off in the car on the way back to the hotel. And I also was grossed out that this girl stunk of cigarettes. My cousin and I ended up needing to fix our makeup before the ceremony and the girls added 10 more pins to my hair to hold it in. Some girls had a different girl do their makeup and it was so much ch better. One hair dresser called one of the bridemaids "dumb" for washing her hair that morning. The owner was pretty rude the whole time and I'm just annoyed I spent all that money to have my hair and eyelashes fall out. I'd be happy to spend that money if it came out nice. Read Less

Went here for the first time the other day and had such a great experience with Dorian! Not only is she hilarious and so friendly but she took the time to discuss my options with me on my VERY difficult hair to give me the best results possible and also save me money. I ended up getting the GK, some awesome highlights and a nice trim. I'd recommend Dorian to anyone whether they're looking for a big change or just something simple. Will definitely be back! I went in and scheduled a cut with stylist Jenna -- and she is hands down a miracle worker! I walked in with a sad, tired bun on my head. When she asked me what I was looking for, I literally just showed her a couple photos of random shorter cuts, and she absolutely nailed it. The price was worth the service and I had an awesome experience. I ended up with a super cute bob-ish length cut which she free handed some caramel highlights into just to break it up. I went to a Christmas party right after and just kept getting complement after complement. Jenna is a young and tasteful super star stylist and you can trust her to make you look your best. The prices are very reasonable and it's located in a quaint part of downtown Harwich. This is a great option if you are value-conscious, but still want something more than a strip mall nail salon. This review is for Nails:I've been to Lauren twice now for a shellac manicure. She does a fabulous job, and she is so sweet. It's priced a little more than I'm used to paying for shellac, and I debated going to a different salon after the first time- but my nails looks so nice when she's done (including shape!), it's completely worth it! I had a black tie wedding to attend and went to Ava to get a blowout. She was kind, genuine and really good at her job! She gave me the perfect blow out. I thought I wanted to put curls in it. I changed my mind when all the curls went in, and asked her to undo the process. She did so very seamlessly, without any sense of irritation, and was very insistent on reassuring me that she wanted me to walk out of the salon the way I had envisioned it.
