Maybe Wonderful Nails in Hanover was because I haven't had the chance to go in awhile or maybe it was just that good I did the spa pedicure and gel shellac manicure. My nail techs was amazing. Let me study for my final during pedicure and chatted for manicure. Chairs are the nicest I've ever seen in a nail shop. Went on a Thursday at 3:30, did have an appointment that I made only four hours before that and it was not jam packed. Front of desk guy was cool under the pressure of running between chairs for technicians, keeping it clean in there, and running the front desk and phone. Polite guy and take care me so enthusiam. I've been a regular Wonderful Nails at Hanover for about 1 years now and I will never go anywhere else. From the ease of scheduling an appointment, the great customer service, and the quality of nail care you receive I give them hands down 5 stars. I highly recommend scheduling an appointment in advance due to the fact that they are the best and their schedule fills up FAST! I've had every nail technician work on my nails and you can't go wrong with any of them. They were friendly, plus their nails last for about a month. The nail staff great you and make you feel so welcomed. The staff does an amazing job not only to make sure your nails look great and that you're happy with your results, but also to keep a welcoming, clean and comforting salon. Worst nail salon. Don't go. 3 nail techs all destroyed our nails. 2 pre teens asked just got pink color.  Both were sloppy. No actual manicure received (so why charge me for work not done). An hour for me to get only 2 nails with acrylic put on. Or should I say globed on!!  The tech screwed up so many times he ended up cracking the fake tip underneath from too many attempts wiping off his horrible acrylic job.  That's when I finally asked for someone else that was more experienced.  She sure down and starts throwing acrylic over the broken tip. I said that's going to be broken in less than a week not to mention unprofessional. I said an hour for no cuticles trimmed, nails filed etc just 2 fingers with globs of acrylic.  I can't believe I even paid for my daughters manicures.  Especially fighting with me to stay when I said no a thousand times.   Don't go here!!  Not trained. Been here about 5-6 times now.  The pros:  the staff is so friendly and kind.  Always courteous and do a nice job.  The cons:  the polish selection needs an update.  Old bottles and outdated colors.  And they will take a credit if it's the absolute last resort.  Frustrating in 2016 that this is so difficult and makes a good experience have an awkward end. Walked in for a pedi around 2 PM on a Thursday and all 3 techs were with customers so waited about 10 minutes which was totally fine. The place itself certainly could use some updating. The walls are a light basement like gray and the pedicure chairs seem old and outdated. The tech was very nice though and did a good job. She didn't rush and really cleaned my cuticles up good  which I needed. The polish job came out great and no signs of chipping almost a week later. Price was reasonable at $24. If you're okay with a no frills kind of place that does nice work, you're good here. Anything higher end and fancy, go elsewhere. Read Less

This place was amazing , I'm not one to judge on the way a place looks, and I'm glad I didn't cause other then mama Mia's pizza I never looked twice at this little strip. But I'm so glad I did. The French pedicure was amazing, and if your looking to get acrylics just tell them what you want and they'd do it to a T as well as being reasonably priced and super friendly! Personally I like thin nor natural looking acrylics and if you've ever gotten them you know they cost you, but they did my nails exactly how I wanted them and I am SUPER picky. My search for the perfect mani/pedi finally ends here!!Strangely enough, this used to be my go-to pedicure stop, and I can't remember why I started going anywhere else. The service is fantastic; precise, friendly, and quick without being so speedy that it still feels like an indulgence, but you're not just hanging out for two hours. I literally got the perfect manicure and pedicure for a very reasonable price ($34 + tip), and genuinely really like the people that work here. Don't let the "no-frills" atmosphere throw you off; I couldn't care less about lovely music and flowing fountains as long as my fingers and toes look purty! Perfect location, right on Rt. 53 in Hanover (in the Mamma Mia's strip mall). Read Less
