I've been there 3x. First two-gel manicures, meh, fine. Last one-wow.  I just wanted gel polish removal and a simple file/cuticle removal/ no nail polish manicure. DO NOT TAKE MY GEL POLISH OFF WITH A DREMEL TOOL. Then barely foil them with remover when I balk. ONLY to have have them FILE THE BEDS OF MY NAILS to get the rest off.  And then have another staff member trying to get the rest of the polish off by filing (sandpapering) my nail beds even more and then throwing the file on the table in disgust. Goodness. Polish remover is cheap!  Barely any cuticle removal-I'm prone to excessive cuticle-and she nipped my skin on two nails. Then, VERY uneven filed nails. And I stopped her when she tried to put clear polish on. She seemed new. I get it. Other staff members tried to help her, but somehow I became the problem. Communication by all was very clearly an issue.  But ineptitude is unacceptable. I still tipped well. But I won't be back. Read Less

I will start off by saying that my nails do look good, so that's a plus but I will not be returning. I have been a fairly regular customer for about a year and have had mixed results. This past time was so bad that I'll never go back. I chose a color for my toes and a matching shellac for my nails. After putting my hands in the UV, the polish wrinkled and shriveled. The man doing my nails kept saying "uh oh that's not good" and then had to go through the entire process of removing the shellac. In the meantime I was trying to choose a coordinating color since my toes were already done. He kept trying to tell me that a color he picked out was "close enough" and on top of that frustration he also cut my cuticles on two fingers to the point of bleeding. Hey all you people listen to me let me tell you all something. The last review for this place was 6 years ago so let me tell you how they went down hill I went in for a fill and asked for my middle finger to be painted a different color and they painted my ring finger instead, one of my nails is very crooked, one of my nails is not completely painted, there is hair painted onto my nails that i cannot remove, the tip of one of my nails is also smudged, whilst this man was doing my nails he burnt me a couple times and stabbed me with is finger nail. My friend painted my nails two days ago and they looked better than this crap. I will not go there again, I suggest you don't either.Read Less

Not going here any more. They are so inconsiderate of their customers. They're either really disorganized with their scheduling of appointments or they just don't care, but it's very aggravating especially when you have a busy schedule! I should have known when my friend booked an appointment in advance for her bridal party on her wedding day and they didn't even show / call. Eventually they got in touch saying they were running late (about an hour or two) with no reason or apology. She had to frantically call nail salons around town to fit in her bridal party before all her other appointments that day! So done with this place - it just happens too many times and they don't seem to care! Read Less

I picked this nail salon in Gloucester because its on a bright corner and I didn't want to be stuck in a dungeon getting my nails done! It was surprisingly one of he best pedicures I've had in recent years. Nice staff, clean, on time, thorough and relaxing. Chairs work. Water is warm. Massage is long. I painted each toe nail a different color and the staff and customers got a huge kick out of that, but they did charge me an extra $5.00 for this service which is kinda whack! after reading yelp reviews i went to the salon.  it was fairly clean and the people pleasant.  that said, they used a product that burned the skin on my fingers.  i can't imagine how they managed this but the pads of my finger tips felt like they were on fire and would not stop.  i finally had to get up and wash them several times.  the burning was excruciating.  the manicurist and he said it was probably the primer.  i have been having my nails done for more than 20 years and only had this happen once before.  at that time it was inferior product.  you can be the judge but i think the low prices come at a serious cost. Love, love, love this salon!The Asian people who work here are super friendly and conversational without being too talkative. The price is right, and the quality is high. I have only ever gotten a traditional mani/pedi but I was very happy with the results. I've had friends who have gotten gels or acrylics and have been happy, too.I noticed that the bin they put the dirty towels in is labeled "dirty towers". Hee hee. This is an example of a small business owned by immigrants who work very hard to please their customers. It's basically a great example of the achievement of the American dream. Congrats, Nail Club.
