I went 5-6 weeks ago and had a good experience.  3 weeks ago, i had a wonderful person who gave me a mani-pedi.  I was very pleased.  She was so dear and did an excellent job!  Today, the manicurist (a woman in her late 40s-50s) was rude and actually reprimanded me for having too much cuticles!  To let me know i needed to change hands, she hit me and roughly pushed my hand.  Because of today's experience along with 1 nail that looks terrible, I will not return nor recommend this salon. Gemma saved the day!! Booked in to have lashes lifted and nails done for my wedding along with my mum and bridesmaids. Whilst at an appt I received a message from the lady who was going to do some waxing for me cancelling my appt... with just two days to the wedding Gemma rearranged her diary and fitted me in - what a star! I got my first gel manicure and my first ever pedicure here a few weeks ago. The pedicure was great, though I have nothing to compare it to. It was relaxing, though the pumice definitely tickled/felt a little uncomfortable. My gel manicure came out beautiful, though it didn't last very long, not even two weeks. My MIL also got gels and there was actually a problem with them. After a little over a week, they bubbled up and gel two on two of her nails peeled terribly. Gemma's has done my nails a couple of times now & I've been over the moon at how long they've lasted as I seem to be the only person in the world that can chip gel nails within less than a day of having them done. They were disrespectful. My daughter and I went in for fills on 6/16/16 and the women that was going to do my nails kept on jacking up the price, after I was in there the day before pricing and asking them if they had gel glitter tips. (Which they told me yes thats why I made the appt.) I had to change what I wanted to get 3 different times. All I got from her was "$3 dalla more $5 dalla more". Then they started talking to each other in their native tongue in front of the customers and myself for a long time.  And that's what was disrespectful about the situation. I pay good money for my nails to be done, don't need the extra disrespect. Thats okay though, they lost out on good customers and a nice tip. I highly don't recommend this place. Read Less

Gemma is absolutely fantastic at her job so professional. I have visited Gemma for a year now and everytime get a perfect gel polish with white tips I travel 30ish miles for this superb service, she did my nails for my wedding in August which were perfect and no extra charges at it was my wedding! She also fitted me in for this on the day she was heading on holiday (most people would just say I'm on holiday the day they travel), my nails are in perfect condition as she uses good quality materials, I've had no problems what so ever. If I could give this place no stars at all that is what I would give. There is one older women there who always gives me attitude. I got a fill here and within 1 day one of the nails fell off. So I went back for a repair that I got charged $10 for. When it was time to pay I gave her my card and she laughed in my face saying "your paying for this with a card?" I said "yes is there a problem?" And she gave me an annoyed look and proceeded to cash out. Should be lucky I even paid for something that should've been free. Will never return to this salon. I had received a pedicure at a nail salon in Mansfield. While getting in my car, I kicked the door and ruined three of my toes. I was in a rush and didn't have time to go back in. Once I got back to Franklin, I drove past Kimmy Fashion Nails and decided to pop in. One of the woman working there saved my night! She helped me find a polish that matched the color from the other salon, sat me in a chair, and fixed my three toes free of charge. Excellent customer service! Read Less

I went here because it's close to work and I needed a quick gel polish change.  They seemed annoyed that I was just doing a polish change and not a full manicure, but overall the staff was friendly and polite.  Quickest polish change I've ever gotten, which could be a good thing, but not in this case.  She filed my nails down without asking what shape I like, and the quality of the job was poor.  Within three days a whole half of a nail had peeled off, as well as several others chipping.  By day four, two complete nails had peeled off.  What was I even paying for? I went to get a fill on Friday 2/6 at Kimmy's. It was the worst I ever experienced!  There were 3 staff on, a guy, an older lady with gray hair and a woman in her 30's.  The 30+ did my nails.  No towel laid out at all. As soon as she started taking off my polish I could tell she was rushing through it. Then she started filing and shaping them with the tool they use.  3 times she hit my fingers with the tool and not once did she apologize. As she did the actual fill,  I felt she had no interest in what she was doing.  When she painted my nails I had to tell her several times she has missed part of the nail. I was angry by the time I left!  Today I have 3 nicks on 3 different fingers from the tool that are very sore!I would never go back and would warn others not to either! Read Less

Out of Town Review:I'm not sure if $25 pedicure's are cheap or expensive in Boston but in any case, in need of a pedicure, I visited this place before heading back to my hotel.  Small, clean, and quiet, I visited on a Wednesday after work.  The lady was nice and did a thorough job with my nails.  I didn't love the "pinchy-feel & light" massage she gave.  I messed up my toes leaving and the lady was happy to fix it.Bring cash for tip - No tip of the credit card. I went to Kimmy Fashion Nails for the first time today. It's tucked away in a little strip mall, so it's a little hard to find, but that's the only downside. The salon was very clean and the staff was friendly. I got great service (they even happily took off my Shellac polish) and a nice, tidy mani. The best thing about this place is that it didn't reek of acrylic nails. That is something I really can't stand and this place was literally a "breath of fresh air." I'll be back! Read Less

Great nail salon. I've come for both manis and pedis and have never been disappointed. I recently just had a young man do my pedicure and he did an exceptional job.
