By far the worse manicure of my life. I had shellac on my nails. so normally places file the top of it and then soak it off. the woman at forever french filed off nearly the entire coat to the natural nail. in the process she cut each of my fingers with the nails. i ask if she was going to soak it off she insisted that they had to file the color off. then had me soak in non-acetone remover for the last of it. at this point i was in so much pain becuase she had cut all my fingers with the file.after removing the polish she barely buffed the nails, didn't touch the cuticle and immediate started putting polish on. when she finished the remove was so dimly lit i couldn't see how good the coats were. when i left the studio i could see that there were parts of the nails that still had the old color on it. and the new polish was so patchy that i could see nails in some area. my nails were rough and my fingers were sore. definately by far the worse maincure in my life!

I felt so cheated by the time I was done with the facial. The woman (esthetician, well she wasn't qualified to be called as such ) who performed my facial simply didn't have a clue what she was doing....
I felt so cheated by the time I was done with the facial. The woman (esthetician, well she wasn't qualified to be called as such ) who performed my facial simply didn't have a clue what she was doing. The facial was supposedly be an hour but lasted for 35 minutes, no steam, no extractions, no examination of the skin. There weren't any equipment like the steamer and standalone magnefying lamp. The robe and bed appeared to be worn previously and both had fuzzy balls all over. The facial massage was a disaster. The inexperience light touches on my face was more aggrevating than anything. She was simply an amature or an untrained esthetician.

Everyone here is really nice! I always go to Blake who is very friendly and will go the extra mile to recommend a good color and talk about the products! I never feel rushed and the pedicure is especially great: I love the sugar scrub and callus abolisher! Blake also did a great job shaping my eyebrows when I got an eyebrow wax (be forewarned, though, that at the norwood location they just have you sit in a chair and lean back; not quite the same spa experience you would find somewhere else!). The only problem I have had is that I paid a little extra for a shellac manicure which is supposed to stay on for about 2 weeks, and after 4 days my polish is cracking and chipping. One nail was so cracked that I had to completely remove the polish (it is a french manicure so luckily it blends in) and several more have significant chips. I don't know if it is different at other salons, but I would only recommend the classic manicure and pedicure; I didn't think that shellac was worth the extra money!

The manicure I got there was terrible. When my husband saw my nails he joked that he could do a better job. Not only nail polish was applied sloppy but also I didn't get basic manicure steps. She (Bake) didn't soak my hands, didn't take care of my cuticles. After shaping my nails quickly, she didn't wipe the nail dust of my nails! Nail polish was applied right away leaving sides of most of my nails without nail polish. And this is considered popular salon with professionals working there. I never go back there again!

I went recently for a mani pedi haircut and although the experience was great and the stylists were friendly and warm, I am less than thrilled with the results.Nails:Pedicure was great actually. Relaxing and the polish job looks good. They don't massage your legs though. I'm very upset with my fingernails. My nails are very weak so they break and snag easily. Not only was the shaping inconsistent but those little broken pieces were left to snag and tear later, only to tear the polish off with it. And I have polish on my skin.Hair:I liked my stylist but the cut she gave me is kind of old fashioned and not what I wanted. My hair is very curly so when it was blow dried and flat ironed it was left frizzy and with kinks in it. Once I got it home and fixed it I then realized it looked nothing like the picture. I'm considering getting a second opinion and fixing it (thus spending more money).Overall it was a good experience but my opinion is that after going to a salon, if you have to go home and pick at/straighten/re-style/whatever you just paid to have done, then it was a waste of money and you could have done it yourself.

I finally broke down and went in for a "forever french" manicure after years of growing out my nails, getting manicures, only to have the polish peel off within a couple of days. I work in a restauran...
I finally broke down and went in for a "forever french" manicure after years of growing out my nails, getting manicures, only to have the polish peel off within a couple of days. I work in a restaurant, and I am CONSTANTLY washing my hands... I couldn't be more happier with my nails. Kellie (owner) did them for me. Very short like I like them, and they are perfect! I love the fact that 1. there is actually no polish on my nails, yet they are super-shiny. 2. I don't go back for 3 weeks to get them done. I was going for manicures at least once a week. What a pain in the ass! Well worth the price... ($60.00 for first appointment, then it's $23.00 and up after that for maintenance...) BTW, I went to their other location in Norwood Center. I'm psyched that I live close to the Franklin location, and the Norwood one is right around the corner from work. Beyond convenient! Although their specialty is the forever french manicure, they offer the basic manicures, pedicures, tips, etc... not sure on those prices. I'll def be back!

I absolutely love coming here. Whether it is to have my hair or nails done, or to have my eyebrows waxed. These girls are awesome!They offer a wide array of services... white, or pink acrylics... manis and pedis (all different kinds)... waxing (brows, lips, bikini, Brazilian)... cuts, colors, perms... etc etc... you name it they will do it.Stephanie does a phenomenal job with my hair. She listens, and produces exactly what you were saying, but only better!!!! And Beth does an awesome job with nails. Both girls are super friendly, and a pleasure to talk with.The staff is super friendly, and there is always a time slot open somewhere. By far the worse manicure of my life. I had shellac on my nails. so normally places file the top of it and then soak it off. the woman at forever french filed off nearly the entire coat to the natural nail. in the process she cut each of my fingers with the nails. i ask if she was going to soak it off she insisted that they had to file the color off. then had me soak in non-acetone remover for the last of it. at this point i was in so much pain becuase she had cut all my fingers with the file.after removing the polish she barely buffed the nails, didn't touch the cuticle and immediate started putting polish on. when she finished the remove was so dimly lit i couldn't see how good the coats were. when i left the studio i could see that there were parts of the nails that still had the old color on it. and the new polish was so patchy that i could see nails in some area. my nails were rough and my fingers were sore. definately by far the worse maincure in my life!

The facial was supposedly be an hour but lasted for 35 minutes, no steam, no extractions, no examination of the skin. There weren't any equipment like the steamer and standalone magnefying lamp. Everyone here is really nice! I always go to Blake who is very friendly and will go the extra mile to recommend a good color and talk about the products! I never feel rushed and the pedicure is especially great: I love the sugar scrub and callus abolisher! Blake also did a great job shaping my eyebrows when I got an eyebrow wax (be forewarned, though, that at the norwood location they just have you sit in a chair and lean back; not quite the same spa experience you would find somewhere else!). The only problem I have had is that I paid a little extra for a shellac manicure which is supposed to stay on for about 2 weeks, and after 4 days my polish is cracking and chipping. One nail was so cracked that I had to completely remove the polish (it is a french manicure so luckily it blends in) and several more have significant chips. The manicure I got there was terrible. When my husband saw my nails he joked that he could do a better job. Not only nail polish was applied sloppy but also I didn't get basic manicure steps. She (Bake) didn't soak my hands, didn't take care of my cuticles. After shaping my nails quickly, she didn't wipe the nail dust of my nails! Nail polish was applied right away leaving sides of most of my nails without nail polish. And this is considered popular salon with professionals working there. I never go back there again!

Relaxing and the polish job looks good. They don't massage your legs though. I'm very upset with my fingernails. My nails are very weak so they break and snag easily. Not only was the shaping inconsistent but those little broken pieces were left to snag and tear later, only to tear the polish off with it.
