Yesterday I went in for a full set. All of my acrylics are crooked and I have acrylic glue all over my hands. I explained to the woman they were crooked and she barley did anything about it. I’m super disappointed. I had to go to someone else to fix them. Won’t be coming back. Read Less

Me and my almost 4 yr old went for mani pedi’s this was our first time there. I wasn’t sure how my daughter would do as far as sitting still, she did ok then started to get antsy. They were wonderful and very patient with her even touched up her nails a couple times from her fidgeting. I got a sports pedi and loved it. I used to go here back when they were on the other end of john fitch i loved them i stopped going due to financial issues. I just recently went back after 6+ plus years to there new location. Went here a couple weeks ago. Julie did my nails - pink and white full set - and she did an amazing job! I asked her to do a design, she couldn't do the particular one I wanted, but did a different one that I ended up loving more! And did it for free! She only made me pay for the set! I started coming here because I thought the place I used to go to was closed on Sundays. Easily the worst nail place I've been to. They're friendly but my nails looked like garbage when I was done, even after trying to point out that something looked bad. Yes its great that theyre nice and get to you quickly but not if the job is done poorly. Read Less

I used Magic yesterday for a pedi for myself and my 2 yr old. It was her first one and they were really good with her! I also enjoyed my pedi and the color was done very nicely! I went with my wife twice and this is the last time for me! Most of the staff are nice and polite and the service was  great. I got a pedicure no problem with that, but the problem is that they think is okay to joke around and laugh about whether I wanted the same color nail polish as my wife. This is the second time that this happened to me. In the beginning of the pedicure I told them that I just wanted a regular pedicure with no color. Lisa is the best I just moved to Townsend from New Hampshire couldn't find a nail place around Townsend that I actually liked....when to the coffee shop here in Townsend and they told me to check out magic nails so I did and I was very very happy with that choice I will never go elsewhere very happy customer!!! four weeks ago man charged me $23 for gel mani. two weeks ago charged $15 for same. yesterday the owner charged me $35 for a gel mani claiming broken nail and cut down was the increase. she spent less than 25 minutes on the entire process. i was never more insulted. you lost a customer yesterday that had been coming to you for over 5 years. the last two times my nails were popping off. what happened to your customer service and experienced tech? I'm really disappointed in Magic nails ! I've been going to this salon for about 6 years and today was the first time I've ever had an issue. Magic nails offers a card that they sign every time you get serviced. If you get a certain amount, you get one service free. I went in to get a free gel manicure and I ended up paying $15. The owner told me that the card doesn't work for refills. Nobody ever told me this, and I filled out the card just by refills, so how would that be excluded?  I got black gel and the nails are just horrible. I moved about 30 minutes away from the salon and I would still drive to see them, not anymore! Read Less

NO NO JUST NO!! If you value your money and your nails DO NOT come here. My mom, sister and I came here for three manicures... Easy right? Wrong! My sister and I got ours done by an older woman. She didn't file or shape my nails and she didn't get all of my cuticles. My sisters nails looked like she got massacred!! The lady took off too much cuticle and left her bleeding on almost every finger! Now my mother got her nails done by a high school student NOT a nail technician. She also got cut several times. She didn't get a brief massage on her hands like she was supposed too, and the girl globbed on the polish leaving a thick coating that peeled off in a couple days.PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE FRUSTATION! This was my first time here for nails. So many things that just made the visit so wrong. To start, she ripped my old gel covers off (ruining my reg nails), cut them way short, when grinding the nails it was burning me, she cut into my skin with the grinder making it bleed (when I complained, she said "well stop moving" mind you I am shocked because I didn't move!), she didn't use the nail design I wanted (but created her own) and then tried to over charge me when it was time to leave. RUN! seriously...I went there twice and both times I left with my nails looking beyond horrible...chunk missing out of my finger, bleeding, nail polish literally slathered on....I could'nt get home fast enough to get the nail polish remover out.
