Ashley is an artist and a professional. For the last three years I've been going to a salon in Cambridge, MA for their expertise and piece of mind for cuts and color (balayage). I decided to chop around 18 inches off my hair after seeing a yelp pic - one of Ashley's clients. The cut came out great, and I felt confident traveling to work as a sales rep in downtown Boston with this modern, fun, sexy cut.Today I got balayage by Ashley. It is natural and just the right amount of lightened and natural color. I have always liked the idea of living on the Cape, but sometimes I'm disappointed that I can't spend more time (and money) in this beautiful area because I have to go back to the city for decent services like salons. It's encouraging to know that there's a top-notch stylist in our very own Falmouth. I hope she doesn't discover Newbury Street so I can keep getting my hair done on Cape Cod! Read Less

I called this Salon in September for information. I was put on hold for 15 minutes, while listening to the hustle bustle of what was going on. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!I  would have given 0 stars, but it wasn't an option. I came to this salon because they had good reviews, so I felt obligated to share my experience.I had a horrible dye job done here, it was nothing like what I requested. I went back to talk to the stylist, and she argued with me. She gave me excuses about my hair being over processed. I then contacted the owner, who also argued with me. I went back and forth with her for over a week. I had to go to another salon to have my hair corrected. Arabella Salon in Mashpee corrected my color and gave me exactly what I wanted to begin with. The owner of Arabella even offered to speak with the owner of Salon 137 on my behalf.Salon 137 refused to refund any of the money I spent.I will never return. Read Less

On vacation in Falmouth and really needed a haircut. I called and was given an appointment with Ashley.  She did an awesome job!  It was absolutely one of the best haircuts I ever got!  The prices are very reasonable and their staff is incredibly friendly. Went in yesterday for the first time.  It was a bridal trial and these women were amazing.  Put me at ease and kept going until the perfect day of do was found. Went to studio 137 for hair and makeup for a friends wedding. Chose the salon based on price - so many salons on the cape are SERIOUSLY over priced but this place was surprisingly much more inexpensive!!! Stephanie did both my hair and makeup and did a fantastic job ! All the women were extremely nice and it was a warm and great experience, highly recommend this place to anyone especially if you're on a budget ! Read Less

I've had 3 perms at this salon.....all absolutely perfect. Michaela is wonderful.  Gentle and doesn't talk a lot ;o)  And what the other reviewers say about the friendliness and family feel is so true.  I hate having anyone mess with my hair and really don't enjoy the whole process of getting a perm....well.....I should say I used to hate it.  Now I really look forward to going to the salon and having a great experience. As a year-round resident of Falmouth, I feel like I've been to all the salons at least once and had a reason not to go back for most of them - due to overpriced, unsatisfactory cuts or colors.  I gave Studio 137 a whirl and it was a welcome surprise!  Ashley gave me a great cut & style at a FANTASTIC price.  She was highly skilled, friendly, and was very competent.  The shop owner was extremely accommodating and the facility was clean and tidy.
