Rubbish customer service and my nails where shocking rushed and came out the shop being in mind I had gel and they still smudged as she didn’t put them under the light long enough!!! Also when I walked in I though I was walking into a nail salon but apparently I was walking into a nursery as one of the staff had their children behind the desk playing with toys on the floor, just didn’t find it very professional at all and I went to somewhere else two days later to have my nails sorted out!!!!Read Less

Friendly staff, clean shop. Autoclaves (sanitization machines) are within view, but tools are not opened in front of the customer. You are never pressured to "upgrade" your services, and the women working here are very chatty and kind. Read Less

Been here today. 1st time having my nails done here. Saw the page and thought they would be a good fit for what I wanted. Unfortunately the lady who did my nails was quite rude and there was poor customer service. No conversation even though I tried to talk to her and no manners at all. I had no idea what was going on! I discovered American Nails Mansfield about a year and a half ago when I needed some nails done at short notice for my nephews funeral. The staff were really lovely and professional and did a great job with the particular design I wanted to commemorate my nephew. I had a gift card for the place and was looking foward to use it.When I walked in lady yelled and asked if I had appointment   which I did.One of the girls took gift card and threw it on the floor where the tub was.They kept asking me how old I am and what kind of food I eat.Owner was not there so when I came home and looked at the prices they over charged me 20$ more,even though I left a good tip.Never again would I go there Read Less

If I could give them zero stars, I would. I went in the first time andHad a mediocre experience.  I decided to give the placeA second chance today and it was dismal. First, I called ahead for an appointment for two people. When I went in with my mom, the lady yelled at me saying I only made an appointment for one and that I had to wait. Um...I don't mind waiting buy at least be polite. So rude, so I walked out as they tried to get me to come back.  Customers were appalled at how rude she was. I got a pedicure and two Shellac manicures at Western Nail.  I have decided not to return, for reasons I'll explain. There are three women that work there. I saw the same woman both times. Each time I left, the manicures looked sloppy with many noticeable flaws. I had been hoping I would have been able to get someone else the second time, but alas.  In addition, both manicures chipped well before the 2 week mark, which is unusual for me because I get Shellac manicures all the time and this rarely happens for me (another sign the manicurist did a bad job leaving it liable for chips). The worst of it all is that I went back two times to get different nails fixed (huge chips that were half the size of my finger), and I did NOT receive pleasant reception the second time. This was puzzling because I walked in when they were not busy (the manicurist did not have a client) and I was still well before the two week mark. Although I felt bad about having to come in twice, it wouldn't have happened if she hadn't done such a crap job in the first place. Plus- I was a great tipper, even giving the manicurists a couple dollars just for the fix jobs, so I don't understand why she seemed annoyed. Everywhere else I've gone encourages you to come back if it chips before two weeks; but here, it's apparently frowned upon. But whatever, I don't want to pay so much money for such crappy-looking fingernails again, never mind the attitude. Go to Lucky in Northampton instead! Read Less

Yelp really should make half stars. How can you go from okay to I'm a fan! I digress. I've had a couple of pedicures here. The second one  was much better than the first, but I paid the extra 5 bucks for the spa pedicure, which came with some skin removing chemical for the soles. Man, did I need it. The ladies are really nice (I've only had women). And I've never had to wait too long. All in all a good value. Read Less
