I am a older man 72 years old my nails on my feet are terrible going every way plus my feet are very tender and I am sensitive. Add to this I am nervous about the whole procedure worried about pain. I have been going to Lovely Nails for over a year now and the reason I go is Patricia. She is so kind and considerate and takes your time with everything she does she also do does my fingernails. They are also a problem very thick and troublesome. Patricia handles everything everything was pleasure the whole shop is beautiful everyone is very nice but I prefer Patricia because she was the first one that help me over a year ago I am very pleased to have this service so close to me. I had a pedicure and manicure today with Patricia. I go to Lovely Nails every few weeks and am never disappointed. Recently I went to an Orleans salon and spent about twice what I spend at Lovely Nails. It wasn't worth it and I won't do it again. Patricia is very sweet and shy and gives the best leg massage ever! Her attention to detail is impressive. I highly recommend Lovely Nails. I understand that Dolores bought the place about 3 years ago so the previous owner and staff are gone. $38 for a mani-pedi combo. Well worth it. That would cost $70 or more at a "spa". And it's walk-in so it is very convenient. It IS NOT A FANCY SPA! Don't go here if that is what you are looking for. These are hard-working people who learned their trade and do it well. Read Less

I was in desperate need of a last-minute manicure while on my vacation and they gave me the last appointment. The manicurest I had was excellent and the price was spot on!!! ***Update 9/9/17: This manicure lasted 18 days!!! I just got them re done at home on 9/2. this is by far the worst nail place i've ever been to and i've tried a lot of places. the wait is ridiculously long, they made me wait 1 hour with an appointment. i had a party to go to, so i said to make them look nice and they made them terrible. i beg you never to go there and let this happen to you. my nails look disgusting and i was cut multiple times. they LIED about the prices and made me pay way more. im aggravating, annoyed, and disappointed on how they could let me leave the store looking like this. they smudged my nails and left it after i told them to fix it. this is the last place in the world i would ever go to. Honestly,One of the BEST pedicures I have ever gotten! Very meticulous and clean. Wonderful massage with lotion followed by a hot stone massage. And this is just the regular pedicure... I can only imagine what the spa and relaxation pedicures are like! Read Less

The staff is very nice, no doubt about that. Today (of course being a Friday) they were overbooked. (And it didn't help that the secretary was scheduling without looking at a book). I, and 5 other people, had appts at the same time, but the staff was busy with other customers. So it didn't help when they kept asking what kind of apt people were there for. I specifically called ahead and asked for an acrylic gel manicure and they said "see you at this time.) When I got there I started trying out regular nail polish colors to get the AGNs to save time. When they finally got to me (15 min later) the woman said I had the wiring kind of nail polish for gel. I told her I didn't want shellac. She said she didn't do shellac. So I asked the secretary if anyone did acrylic to which she responded "we don't do the acrylic here." Well I wish they told me that when I called ahead. To top it off I wanted to buy a certain color off of them, but they didn't have unopened bottles in back stock. So I had to buy the bottle they had. EXCEPT I couldn't. They don't take cards.... Made a 230 pedi appt for two.  When we showed up at 225, they ignored us until we finally told someone we had an appt.  the woman told us we made the appt for 2 and when we said that it was definitely 230, she asked another employee who said, "2 o'clock, they late".     Then the employee turned around and went back to what she was doing.  No instruction, no apology, no promise of ever being fit in.  When two walk ins came in behind us and were taken first, we finally left.  Awful customer service. Professional and Pleasing. Nicely decorated and clean. On a Saturday, 5 careful technicians busy at work. Pedi was $25 and Mani $14 ($1 discount if combined). Due to lack of fluency, not much of conversationalists but everything else was tip top. Would definitely return and certainly recommend to all. My friend and I are in town from CT and I googled nail spas in Eastham.  This one got a good review so we went to check it out.  I'm glad we did.  It's clean and the staff is very professional plus the price for mani and pedi was good.  I would definately use Lovley Nails again when I am in the area.  Thanks Lovely Nails! This is a fabulous salon; the service is excellent, and the site is immaculate. I have finally found my manicure pedicure salon on Cape Cod. I had been there when there were other owners and the place was  completely unappealing (one visit was more than enough). But these new owners are not only lovely, they offer excellent manicure/pedicure, and have redone the space with new chairs, tables, decor.  It is a family business that takes pride in the quality of their services. I love this place. After moving to the Cape last winter, I've been desperately seeking an acceptable mani/pedi on or at least near the Lower Cape that is not stupid expensive.I know that no place here is going to be as good or as cheap as my nail salons on Staten Island, but Lovely Nails fits my bill in a lot of ways:** They give good nails -- I know other reviews say they don't, and maybe that was true a while back, but the first time I went I put them through their paces -- dark, dark blue undercoat, with a sparkle coat, then a hologram coat on top, And Blanca, who was working on me, did a really, really good job. It lasted about ten days on my hands and a month plus on my toes. Dark colors, and holograms are really hard to do right and although she did have to sweat a bit, they turned out perfectly.** They can be really sweet -- I brought my Mom in one day for her first pedi EVER. I know...wow, but she has always done her own, but she dislocated her shoulder, so I dragged her in. Everyone there was so nice, and gave her extra special treatment so she would feel comfortable. I also have some issues on my leg, and they have always been extra careful and helpful with that too,** IT IS NOT A FREAKIN SPA -- not even close, thank the powers. The decor is somewhat post-apocalyptic abandoned office (check out the half-filled fish tank with one--probably none now--fish in it and the fading hand pictures from a decade ago on the walls. I was so happy I almost cried the first time I walked in -- it's just like the nail salons you would find in Jersey City or Greenpoint in the early 90s.** Not too crowded from what I can see -- During the height of tourist season it is probably worth a call before dropping in, but I've never had to wait more than five minutes. Dolores, who is the manager, is probably best, but everyone there is pretty good, and if they don't know how to do something they check with Dolores, and she keeps an eye on them to make sure it is going okay (I ask for some complicated stuff).** No sign of the creepy "smoking man" foot fetish guy mentioned in the previous reviews -- maybe he got the message or was arrested or something. No sign of him now, and I've gone a number of times starting in March 2014. If he does show when I'm there I'll just ask him to pay me if he wants to touch my feet. Read Less

My toenail fell off shortly after getting a pedicure here. The owner stands around smoking outside and smells gross. They let the foot scrubby thing float around in the tub hitting your legs. Not many choices on the outer Cape, but better to stay away from this one. Read Less

It's reasonable, clean and on the Outer Cape. otherwise, it ain't special. I got a decent manicure for $13, but only decent. If you are out on the Cape for a bit and have to your nails done, then go, but otherwise, wait until you get back to where you came from because this is  a very basic manicure with no massage. This place was splendid. We went as a 4-person party and were immediately treated to a relaxing and serene experience that we would not soon forget. There are around 6 employees each of whom are wonderfully skilled. The previous reviews are referring to the nasty and atrociously mannered previous owner that treated the employees with no respect. About a year ago the establishment was purchased by a woman that has significantly improved both the experience  and the treatment. We almost did not go to the salon because of the other reviews that we looked at, but the result was a wonderful surprise. Worst nail salon I have EVER been to. Unclean, unprofessional, and way too expensive for the shoddy job that the owner performed. Not to mention he was rude to me, and then talked about me to his next customer while I was sitting 10 feet away at the drying station. My $13 manicure was chipped and smudged upon exiting the salon (which I was told was MY fault, when the man clearly smudged it while cleaning up all the nail polish he got on my skin), but I was too frustrated with the lack of customer service to even ask for it to be fixed. I would give this place 0 stars if I could. WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. EVER. Do not go to Mike. I came here for a manicure with my friends who live in Eastham, and I have never been treated so poorly by someone I was paying for a service. It was busy when I walked in, but I was seated right away by a lovely woman who did a great job filing my nails, doing the massage, and cutting my cuticles. But then, after she had painted my first coat, the man who seemed like the owner- Mike- came out and rudely told the woman doing my manicure to get out of her chair. She told him she was almost done, but he rudely yelled at her that he needed the chair, and almost pushed her out of the way. My first hand was done well and very neatly, but then he proceeded to make a huge mess of my nails. He dipped the brush in the polish once, and painted 3 nails with it. They were uneven, and the nail was not covered. I pointed this out to him and he told me that it was okay because it was the first coat. (This is not true- every other manicure I've ever gotten has had a even first coat). The man was extremely rude to me, and was not polite or apologetic. I said to him again that I was not happy with the quality of my nails- I am from New York and get a manicure about every two weeks for less money that is of a higher quality. Basically, I was berated for the next 25 minutes while he finished painting my nails terribly. I was told that it was my fault when he smudged my nails, and he talked about me to the next customer while my friend sat next to him. My friend said something about how that was rude- no apology. My nails did not dry, and he laughed at me. This man does not know how to run a business- he treats his employees and customers terribly. He counts on vacation business, so please do everyone a favor and do not go here so that he does not get to continue to act this way. Worst experience ever on the cape. My friend told me about this place... It's nice to have a reasonable nail salon nearby, but this is your traditional, English as a second language place.For a $25 pedicure, it's A-Okay. They've got the massaging chairs, a wide variety of colors... Appointments are pretty lax.Communication seems to get lost in translation at times.My toes are happy.
