Mina is the ONLY tech allowed to work on my nails .. she's patient neat & detailed!!! But I repeat REPEAT do NOT get your eyelashes done here , $120 and they lasted 4days went back for her to fix and they fell off along with my REAL lashes due to the chemical reaction with primer & glue Read Less

Don't pay with a credit card! I got an awesome pedicure done there and was very patient waiting almost an hour to get my toe nails done, but when I went to pay with my card the lady swiped it five times and said it wasn't going through. I paid with debit and now I'm getting charged five times on my credit card because she swiped it so much! I recommend if you go here to only pay in cash or a debit card. Enfield location is awesome!!! The east longmeadow location on the other hand is not so awesome. When I walked in they were very confused as to my questions. All I wanted was a non gel polish for my feet and the matching gel polish for my hands. They were trying to use similar colors which isn't what I wanted. The lady assisting me needed assistance and was very careless to help ensure I was satisfied. She asked me if I was a member I told her yes in enfield and she had no clue what I was saying so she just ignored it .Her name was Nina. Andrew or Andy did my mani and he spoke very well and was polite. Atmosphere was nice the music was decent and the volume wasn't overbaring. IDK who did my pedi but she was very attentive and made sure I was happy. I got the deluxe pedi and it was the besssttt. They have heat changing nail colors which is so cool!! Better then last time. My nails turned out great, but a new nail tech did my feet. She didn't ask what type of pedi I wanted. The water was super cold. I asked her to warm it up, but i guess she didn't understand English very well. So overall the first half was good (Mani with Jack) second half wasn't worth $60. Worst place to go bad service..when it's time to close they don't care if you have been waiting they don't want to take care of you. Also seems like they are use to a certain customer base and judge people by race. They seem to think minorities can't afford there $60 gel full set. Great nails, but they charged me $65 dollars for refill and color. I spoke with Ashley the manager and she said there is an extra $20 dollars charge for chrome color plus the shellac which is the white base colors or chrome. I would liked to have been informed about the extra cost. I assumed the website prices were correct, but the manager said "the prices doesn't match with the actual prices". Good nails but be sure you ask for prices before the job is done. Sadly I still gave a $10 tip. Read Less

I have tried many nail salons around the Austin and Lakeway area, and this salon is by far the best. My husband and I are REALTORS®, so although we never know what part of town we will find ourselves, I now refuse to go anywhere else. Ashley runs a tight ship and Hector is incredible and talented. Anything from "performing surgery" on ingrown toenails, to fixing split nails, to going above and beyond on a basic pedicure that lasts close to a month...I'm so thankful to have found Golden Nails. I was hesitant about writing a review after a bad experience with my bridal party. But I decided to give them another shot, and here is my review. I booked an appointment for 10 girls for manicures and pedicures for my wedding. I called and reconfirmed a week before and I even called the day before just be make sure. When we got there they made us wait 45 minutes and had no explanation. It messed the whole day up making everyone late. Well silly me decided to go back yesterday. I got and paid for a gel manicure and it's already chipping?? How is that even possible? I am very unhappy and will NEVER be back and don't recommend this place to anyone. Read Less

I have to compliment this place on its customer service. I am 8 months pregnant and arrived at Red Carpet nails at 7:10pm in hopes to get a mani and pedi before my baby shower the next day. The salon was closing and I had no idea. I was pleasantly surprise when a gentleman by the name of Danny was still willing to provide me with a pedi and mani service. I felt extremely bad and he insisted that it would be okay. He said it would be a gift for the baby and I. I thought that was just the most thoughtful thing considering he probably was tired and ready to be home. Anyway I received a relaxing pedicure and Danny was very pleasant the whole time. I decided not to get the mani since he was nice enough to give me a great pedicure and I had already felt bad. I have to give this place kudos and give them a quick shout out on Yelp. Thanks Danny!!! I was looking for a place to get a quick pedicure with no appointment and decided that this place might fit the bill. When I walked in, I was promptly greeted, asked what services I wanted, and invited to pick a color. By the time I had picked a color, the technician had magically appeared to take me to a chair. This is a large salon with LOTS of chairs and nail stations. The pedicure stations looked clean and individually packaged new products were opened for each client.It wasn't the most fabulous pedicure that I've ever had, but it was quick (30 minutes) and easy and looked nice. I've test driven multiple places around the ATX and this one has been by far my favorite. The staff really tries hard to make sure that you're getting what you want and my nails always turn out stunning. I'm a hard client to please, I'm very picky, and I'm not afraid to tell them if I have a problem with something so this is pretty rare for me to be 100% happy. I have been coming here a long time.  This is a great place for a pedicure and a good place for a manicure.  Both the manicure and pedicure have a hot stone massage as part of the service.  It is worth the extra $ for the spa pedicure especially if you are someone who is hard on your feet (on your feet for your job, runner, plays sports, etc). The manicures, depending on who is doing it, vary.  Some seem to last longer or the massage part last longer then others.  The pedicures are always consistently great.  You can be a walk in or if there is one person's services you prefer you can call and make an appointment.  The employees here are very nice.  There is always a movie on their flat screen t.v's.  Sometimes I like that, sometimes some peace and quiet would be better.  It is a mood thing.All in all, I am a fan. I have always gone to red carpet. The girls here are great. I love the hot stones and the massages. But recently I went there and they had taken down their price board. Well I knew it used to be around $30 for a pedi but the guy told me $40. So I paid him $40 plus tip. As I was in the car with my friend I asked her how much the girl told her pay. She said she paid $30. The guy over charged me. Its a little hard to debate it considered I just thought maybe they had changed their prices. I didn't know, they didn't have a price board.
