This place has so many positive reviews on yelp, so I didn't even hesitate to walk in when I was in the area. I wanted to have some nail design, just 2 triangles in different colors, and I showed a picture to the girl and she convinced me she could do it. And so she tried, and she failed, and she tried again, and she failed again... i had no choice but ask her to just apply a regular nail polish. This was my first time going to Perfect Nails. They have a big selection of colors, which is great! I always have a hard time picking out colors. The pedicure was great, I just found it a bit weird that they charge an extra $5 for callus removal. Everywhere I've went before, it comes included. I will definitely go back, because the service was great and they also have specials - depending on the day of the week. I will go back on a day when they have specials going on! Walked in because I saw the sign for the special, I was greeted by a really nice guy at front desk. He walked me back and the lady walked in to do my eyebrows and didn't speak or bother to smile. She did a nice job but could really use some hospitality personality. With my mani/pedi same thing she just seemed bothered. Again the final product was nice but no warm and cuddly from her.  She was quick and efficient not one for pampering.  The guy at the front desk should teach her a little about smiling or at least not appearing bothered. I was in the area and wanted to squeeze in a mani and pedi before another appt. I only had an hour. It was a Tuesday afternoon and I was the only one there, so they had two girls work on me. In and out in 50 minutes! I was so thankful. They didn't rush and did a great job. Very happy with my nails. TONS of colors. Plus they had a new line up with two color tones that looked very neat. Very nice staff, spoke English so it was easy to communicate. Very gentle! ( I can't stand it when people dig into my nails when they remove gel). I got an exfoliant scrub and hot stone massage with my pedicure that felt very nice. Their pedi chairs have jets. I'm wary of jet baths because of incidences of them not getting cleaned properly (with hospital grade disinfectant) and risk of infection because of this. However, I have to say I kind of enjoyed it haha. It felt great. I didn't get too much of an idea of cleaning procedures. I just saw her scrub the foot bath with a sponge after; and not sure how they clean their instruments but I think I saw a UV box in the back. The website does say everything is medically sterilized though so that is good. Would like to know more. You can pay with credit card but NOT debit or Amex. Cash tip only. They do have an ATM with no fees from the business for using, but possibly one from your bank. Parking is street. I lucked out and got one right outside the door. I love this place! The people are friendly and welcoming. Unlike other nail shops in the dedham area where u can barely be a walk in client without having to wait an hr or told to come back , I love that I can be a walk in client and still get serviced. The longest I ever had to wait was 15 min. Service is pretty good and they do a good job. Read Less

Umm not a good experience.. I literally have to go somewhere else to fix my nails because they look bad. I got a fill for my coffin nails, they did my last set and my nail broke so I went back. Horrible idea. They are also not sanitary at all. She used a nail filer that was not clean and put it back in her box when she was done with my nails. As an esthetician I know and just a human being I know that's really unsanitary and not safe business practice. Save your money for somewhere better. Read Less

I love this place! My first time was about 4 weeks ago and and I did an acrylic and it lasted about 3.5 weeks to get a refil!! Usually when I get my nails done I need a refil about 2 weeks on the dot but not here! 😍🙌🏼 Definitely will be sticking to this place! Everyone is super nice there also!! Read Less

I wanted to wait a few days to see how my nails held up and almost a week later they still look perfect! My usual salon has been getting crazy busy and they never have time for walk ins, so I decided to try somewhere new and stumbled on Perfect Nails. This was my first time at this salon, along with myMother, we both left 2 very happy customers. We got pedicures...she got a acrylic fill and I got acrylic full set, amazing work. My nails now along with myMothers  look natural with the acrylics unlike other times at other locations when they looked obviously not real and less effort put into the final look. This salon was clean, neat and also very up to date with decor. I highly recommend perfect nails! Parking is a bit tricky but there is a new little parking lot right across the street. Thank you! I came here after two tries at acrylics gone terribly wrong. Both previous places I broke nails and list full nails within a week. Came to Perfect Nails after doing a little homework on Yelp. I couldn't have been more thrilled. Mai fixed up my broken, uneven, lumpy tips, gave them the perfect talon shape, and did some killer nail art. I left feeling so happy and pretty!  The second time I came for a fill, she stayed an hour late to do Jack Skellington nail art at her insistence!!! I was working for Halloween in Salem, and got so many compliments!!!  The latest nails she created for me are mood color change! Pink to champagne with diamond and lattice nail art with glitter. I want to go back sooner than I need to just to see what she will come up with next!  And the price is so amazing. I've seen far inferior jobs for twice or more the cost. Mai is so great, my mom has started coming to her, the girls at the beauty store stop me to check my nails every time I come in, all my friends want to switch salons....If you have or want acrylics, do yourself a favor and visit Mai.
