So happy I found this salon!!  Was in the area because of work and booked an appointment based on all of the positive reviews and I was not disappointed.  Clean, comfortable and friendly.  I felt very pampered and loved the hot stone massage with my pedi.  Manicure was flawless and lasted 4 weeks!!  I will now gladly drive an hour from my home to get my mani/Pedi's at this salon.  They also have a selection of complimentary beverages.  I highly recommend this salon. This small nail salon is easy to miss, but it is truly a hidden jewel! Under new management, the space recently enjoyed a renovation. The small, welcoming atmosphere is the antidote to the usual nail salon: no harsh smells, no flourescent lights, people remember you and offer you complimentary beverages. Nikki does an amazing pedicure - she shaped my toe nails into beautiful round shapes that I could not stop staring at! After my first pedi with her, I called and made an appointment with her  again (a somewhat awkward process from my side because I didn`t know her name) because she was that good. They take a longer time with the massage, and use wax to make your feet extra smooth. I will continue to be a regular! Read Less

The hot stone massage is terrific. It's luxurious when you want luxury, but if you tell them you are in a hurry they can get you in and out for a manicure/pedicure in an hour. It's my favorite place to get my nails done.Read Less

I work in the area and saw this salon with new management, so I decided to try it out. Very attentive service, my mani-pedicure came out just as I wanted. Super friendly owner and polite staffs. They have a promotion going on, buy 10 manicures get 1 free, the same for pedicures. And as first time customer, I get a $5 discount each on both my manicure and pedicure. I bought a groupon to use for a Diva mani/pedi at this salon and I made the mistake of letting it expire. When I called to make an appointment the woman who answered the phone asked if my groupon was expired. When I said that it was but I still wanted to use the amount it was worth ($39) towards the service she immediately raised her voice to me and was practically shouting that I would need to pay the difference. I kept saying that I understood that but she continued to repeat herself very rudely, with her voice raised. Finally she stopped yelling at me and I asked for her earliest Saturday appointment. She said she was scheduling me for the following Saturday and I repeated the date, day and time back to her, which she confirmed. I was, however, completely shocked by her overall rudeness and complete lack of customer service. When I arrived first thing Saturday morning I was told that I had missed my appointment. They had me down for the previous day (Friday). I told them I confirmed the date and day with the person who made the appointment and I would never have scheduled it for a day when I would be working, AKA a Friday. They agreed to still do my nails but acted as if they were doing me a great favor. The woman who did my nails was very sweet and did a decent job. I got a shellac manicure, however, and the UV light was burning my nail beds so I had to keep taking my hands out from under the light which they found funny rather than showing any type of concern. By the end of the appointment I ended up paying an extra $75 dollars on top of what I had paid for the groupon which seems like way too much, in my opinion. My shellac manicure also cracked within 3 days (it should last up to 14 days). I won't be returning. Read Less

I love this salon! I have been going here since it opened, and I have always received exceptional service. I live a half hour's drive away, but it is worth the trip. No other salon matches Nail Studio in the services and personal attention that its staff provides. The salon is modern with a peaceful ambience more suited to Newbury Street than Dedham Square. The hot stone massages are phenomenal. You can even get a neck and shoulder massage while your nails dry! The entire process is very relaxing and therapeutic. They also do waxing and facials. This was my second time at nail studio and I will not be returning. My friend swears by this place but I was very dissappointed. I normally go to another salon, but I decided to try this out. The weekend before I was there I was outside in the mud during a rainstorm and my toenails were filthy. I went for the deluxe pedicure in hopes of getting rid of all the dirt on my toenails. It felt really nice and everything but they just painted over the dirt. My toenails look beautiful and then dirty on the edges. I've been pissed all week! ugh!I also got a gel manicure. I've been noticing more and more that when a salon uses an OPI gel polish they may not use the OPI Base and top coat. That being said, my gel manicure chipped on day 2, because I had an OPI gel color and they used Gelish base/top coat. If you would like clean toes and a gel manicure that doesn't chip I would not reccommend going to Nails Studio. I gave it a shot but I will be returning to the best nail salon in Dedham, Nail Salon of East Dedham. Read Less

This place is small but nice. It's clean and modern and they did a great job with my manicure and pedicure. I do agree that service is somewhat lacking. I had a groupon and was trying to get in before the expiration, but they were pretty booked. They added on another week to use the groupon and added a $20 surcharge which I was OK with, better than paying full price. However, the lady on the phone was very abrasive and seemed annoyed that I was trying to find a convenient time to come in. It's about 20 mins for me and I'd go back, but I'm not sure I want to drive that far to support a business that speaks to customers like we are a burden to them. I went using a Groupon and thought it was OK. I didn't have the best manicure, but the pedicure was great. The space is clean and inviting and the staff was friendly. I felt like I had slightly different service than the regulars there. I wasn't in a hurry but had been there for awhile. 2 nails smudged before I got home which usually means they weren't dry. In about 4 days it was getting chipped and looking grown out. I think the polish wasn't even and I think the topcoat wasn't even enough. It seems to last longer when I cheaply do my own nails. I probably wouldn't go back. I don't think they were simply fulfilling their groupon commitments since they wanted me to book my next appointment. It is a good option for a last minute appointment, but others in the area have been better. . Read Less
