I have never had such a bad eyebrow waxing experience. The woman spent a total of 30 seconds waxing my eyebrows before she declared them done. Didn’t go back in with tweezers to clean up the rough wax job and didn’t apply any kind of soothing/cooling gel after the hot wax. So I still have half a unibrow and a bunch of stray hairs and now a burn from the wax. I’ll never go back.

Nail technician was superb- Susan is highly talented! Shop needs upgrading as wires and extension cords were everywhere. Constant buzzing of a nuisance fly. Was not relaxing at all. Customer service poor from greeting at the door, focusing on you as a customer. Lots of chatter among the other nail technicians. Tech table was bit dusty, no big deal, however overall feeling of an unclean environment.Decir inconsistent and choppy. Dont know if I will visit again! I think Susan is the best technician I've ever been - KUDOS!

Do NOT come to this place...
1) I came for a gel french manicure and regular french pedicure 5/2/18. I had a new girl (I forget her name) and she just started a few days ago. I think they need to train their employees better because she did not file my nails straight, it was crooked. I had to keep asking her to fix it. Even painting the french portion on my nails was crooked as well. I was really unhappy with the service.
2) I went on their website to book an appointment with a different girl. I went in for powder dip on 5/20/18. I told them I had and appointment, then the same girl that did my nails last time did my nails even though I made an appointment with someone else...I picked Kiarasky brand (it was a light pink). While she was buffing the powder to make it even, she cut me with the tool and 2 of my fingers. She was on her 3rd coat (already 45 mins in) when the nail tech (Julie) next to us said something to her Vietnamese. Then my nail tech told me that she has to take the powder off because that particular color clients have complained about chipping within days. They apologized and had me pick an OPI color. Julie took over and straighten my nails which the new girl still could not master yet... I thought they would offer me a discount for A) cutting me 2) taking 2 hrs of my time
3) So 6/7/18 I went to a different salon. After they took off the powder dip i notice a weird discoloration in 2 of my nails. I asked the nail tech what it was and they were horrified and said nail fungus. I said how did that happen? They said A) the salon I went before could have been dirty. Using equipment they used on one client and then used the same equipment on me without sterilizing it 1st. OR B) they did a bad job w putting the powder dip on causing it to lift and allowing water to seep in and causing the nail fungus. I was horrified...
So please do NOT come to this salon, unless you want to get cut, get your time wasted, and get NAIL FUNGUS!

Loved my gel manicure. However, got my eyebrows waxed and the lady burnt my skin! I went back after it started to swell up and sting all under one eyebrow, and she said I just have sensitive skin, which I don’t believe. I have gotten my eyebrows waxed multiple times and this hadn’t happened. She didn’t blow on the wax to cool it down! Didn’t get my money back. All I got was excuses and she put the blame on my skin.. ok... only giving it a 3 because my gel manicure was nice.

The nails you get for your wedding day should not make you want to cry but these sure did. I had my nails done once before here and they were all right. I thought the shape might be off a little but overall okay. I should have gone with my instincts. I got a set of acrylics put on and I thought I was asked to do an average length but once she started cutting there was barely a quarter of an inch past my nails. Then when she shaped them they turned out lopsided and not even the same lengths. Even the top coat was not put on well I can see where it did cover the whole nail. They don’t even cover my whole nail! I’ve never been more upset after getting my nails done!

I don't remember who did my nails the past week I went but I've been going to this nail salon for years and they've always done a great job especially Chi. She's done my eyebrows and my nails everytime I go there. I just learned recently that she left. Makes me sad because I don't let anyone do my eyebrows but her, now I have to find a new place. Back to my most recent manicure. I had acrylics done for Valentine's Day and they were spectacular and I got a ton of compliments however when I went back to get them off two weeks later, the technician who was put them on was busy with another customer and the person who helped start the process of removing my acrylics had no idea how to even start the removal process since I had gel put on top of the acrylics. After the technician started me the other person took over and finished with a regular nail polish. The thing is, there is still acrylic left on my nails, the person left some on under the regular polish and they started cracking off after maybe two days. I paid $27 dollars to remove and put new polish and they did half of the job. Even with the drill it didn't remove all the acrylic off my nails. Like I said I'm a long time customer of theirs and I only go there because it's convenient. It might be time for me to shop for another salon if they don't start teaching all their techs how to do things off their menu. I'm not saying I don't recommend this place because I've had a ton of great manicures but just take your time inspecting your manicure before you leave. And please get Chi back. She was awesome.

I went there once about a year ago for a gel pedi, it was fantastic. It was a young vibrant woman who did my nails at this time. I returned about two weeks ago hoping to run into this young lady once more. I went in for a few acrylics and a pedicure. My natural nails are pretty long but I had broken a few. The tech who ended up doing my nails was an older woman who could barely speak English. It was then I decided to forgo the pedicure but continue on with the acrylics. Should be simple enough right?NEVER IGNORE YOUR INTUITION - I should've leftDespite the language barrier I could tell she was annoyed at the fact that I was only getting acrylic repair and not a full set. She asked me over and over and over if I wanted a mani, full set, pedicure she asked about half a dozen times. She was rough with my hands and her expressions + body language was foul she was aggressively drilling my nails.When I asked her to slow down she just kept going. She cut me twice. When I went to wash my hands my hands were burning that's when I let her know she cut me, she LAUGHED and said oh it's small it's small. I'm assuming she meant they were small cuts they were not a big deal. I regret paying. I paid in cash and can you imagine, she had the audacity to be hovering as if I would tip her. I should've never paid Luckily my fingers did not get infected. But I still might report them, in hindsight I never saw her sanitize the drill.

I love Luxxe Nails and have been with VI for about two years. I have told many friends and co-workers to go to Luxxe. Vi is the best there is. She is very talented and takes her time helping you choose a color and perfecting your nails. The pedicures are so relaxing with massage chairs, hot stones and warm towels. Luxxe is clean and comfortable. I won't go anywhere else!!

I should have know once another customer walked in and said her nail's chipped and she also got the dip powder done. With in 2 days it chipped and my nail is starting to seperate from the dip with in 4 days.. I went back in about the chipped polish and the owner (I believe that who she is bc s...he always at the register and no one else) Fix the 2 nails with no apology and an attitude.. This is my 4th location looking for the best nail salon that does dip power and this one is the worst. I'm giving them 2 stars bc of the fast service, the look of the nail salon, Cindy kindness, the star's went down do to the nail treatment. Bad product, bad application. Ladies so you know their is a base dip and a color dip there is a total of 4 times your finger should be dipped and the application if done right should last 3-4 weeks .... See More

I have NEVER experienced such TERRIBLE service at a nail salon in my life. I am so upset. I live an hour away in RI and came here with my sister. We waited one hour until they started serving us after they told us it’d only be a few minutes. After expressing our frustration, I apologized to them and let them know we were upset that we’ve been waiting one hour and that I live an hour away and have work in the morning. This women then has the nerve to tell me I DID NOT wait an hour; calling me a liar. I did not receive on apology. All we asked was that if it were an hour wait that we were at least told. I will be writing a review about this horrible establishment every where I possibly can.

They took their time, checked in to see how I liked it along the way and even EXPLAINED things to me !! When was the last time you had someone do that ?! I was really blown away. I came here searching for dipping powder service after a terrible experience elsewhere and was extremely pleased. Found a good place once and for all

I'd never go anywhere else!Luxxe is a truly top-notch salon; the technicians are knowledgeable, super friendly, and always prepared to put the client first. I also believe the salon is very well managed and maintained--everything is always so fresh and clean! Although I have been coming to Luxxe for quite some time now, I recently tried the OPI powder perfection for the first time. And, despite hesitation, I was pleasantly surprised not only by the skillful and careful application of the technician, but also by how stunning my real nails now look! First, definitely head to Luxxe if you haven't already, and second, try the powder perfection! I promise you won't be disappointed by either.

*ACRYLICS and EYEBROW WAX REVIEW*-ACRYLICS-I had a skinny older lady do my nails. I asked for coffin shape and to add a few gems. She did a decent job. However my coffin nails almost looked square. I wish she made them a bit skinnier. And i asked her to put gems in a line on my middle finger. when she put the gems on, she put a few on upside down. Like how do you not notice that. And some were out of line. Good thing my topcoat was still a bit wet so I could shift them over into place myself. At the end of that day I notice that my nails hurt a bit when I gently push down on them. People say that that's due to the tech filing down my nails too much.-WAXING-DO NOT get your wax done here. They do not seem to be sanitary at all. The older lady brought me into a small room in the back. The table that the clients lay on is covered with a towel that looks like it hasn't ever been washed. There were several noticable stains. And there was a little gold, flattened pillow that was completely uncovered. I immediately felt uncomfortable. The lady did a horrible job. She rushed thru everything. She waxed the main parts where i had stray hairs. And she gave me the mirror to ask how I like it. I told her it's OK and I asked her to clean it up a bit for me since you can't get the stray hairs that are closer to your eyebrow with just waxing. And this lady literally plucked like 2 pieces of hair on my left eyebrow and said I was done. She put the mirror at my face and when I tried to grab it she yanked it away. Like wtf lady. I do not pay you to do a half assed job. She didn't trim my eyebrows, didn't shape them or do anything. Had to fix them myself when I went home...$60 +tip for full set acrylics, gel nail polish with gem design, and matte top coat. And also an eyebrow wax. Thats really cheap. Maybe it'll be a better experience with a different nail tech. Just avoid waxing.

The best salon I have been to. I was with my clients today I work with people with developmental disabilities and in wheelchairs. We came from another salon with horrible customer service and general human decency. This salon was so polite and caring for my ladies. Great first experience! The staff went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and my Manicure from Mimi came out great :). Spa is clean, modern and I'm excited it's so close to my house.

I have never had such a bad eyebrow waxing experience. The woman spent a total of 30 seconds waxing my eyebrows before she declared them done. Didn’t go back in with tweezers to clean up the rough wax job and didn’t apply any kind of soothing/cooling gel after the hot wax. So I still have half a unibrow and a bunch of stray hairs and now a burn from the wax. I’ll never go back.

She is very talented and takes her time helping you choose a color and perfecting your nails. The pedicures are so relaxing with massage chairs, hot stones and warm towels. Luxxe is clean and comfortable. I won't go anywhere else!!

Very good nails but their time management is off. Walkins and appointments. I was a walk in and they started my nails and then just left me with tin foil on my nails for over an hour. I finally left. They didn't charge me but it was beyond frustrating

I came here because of the review's.. was greated once I walked in by Cindy very nice lady. I got the dip powder which cost $40 price is fair but they don't know how to apply the dip... I should have know once another customer walked in and said her nail's chipped and she also got the dip powder done. With in 2 days it chipped and my nail is starting to seperate from the dip with in 4 days.. I went back in about the chipped polish and the owner (I believe that who she is bc s...he always at the register and no one else) Fix the 2 nails with no apology and an attitude.. This is my 4th location looking for the best nail salon that does dip power and this one is the worst. I'm giving them 2 stars bc of the fast service, the look of the nail salon, Cindy kindness, the star's went down do to the nail treatment. Bad product, bad application. Ladies so you know their is a base dip and a color dip there is a total of 4 times your finger should be dipped and the application if done right should last 3-4 weeks .... See More

I have NEVER experienced such TERRIBLE service at a nail salon in my life. I am so upset. I live an hour away in RI and came here with my sister. We waited one hour until they started serving us after they told us it’d only be a few minutes. After expressing our frustration, I apologized to them and let them know we were upset that we’ve been waiting one hour and that I live an hour away and have work in the morning. This women then has the nerve to tell me I DID NOT wait an hour; calling me a liar. I did not receive on apology. All we asked was that if it were an hour wait that we were at least told. I will be writing a review about this horrible establishment every where I possibly can.

Excellent service at this salon, I had a range of services done with three separate professionals all who really take pride in the work. I can say that's truly something missing at most other places! They took their time, checked in to see how I liked it along the way and even EXPLAINED things to me !! When was the last time you had someone do that ?! I was really blown away. I came here searching for dipping powder service after a terrible experience elsewhere and was extremely pleased. Found a good place once and for all

I'd never go anywhere else!Luxxe is a truly top-notch salon; the technicians are knowledgeable, super friendly, and always prepared to put the client first. I also believe the salon is very well managed and maintained--everything is always so fresh and clean! Although I have been coming to Luxxe for quite some time now, I recently tried the OPI powder perfection for the first time. And, despite hesitation, I was pleasantly surprised not only by the skillful and careful application of the technician, but also by how stunning my real nails now look! First, definitely head to Luxxe if you haven't already, and second, try the powder perfection! I promise you won't be disappointed by either.

*ACRYLICS and EYEBROW WAX REVIEW*-ACRYLICS-I had a skinny older lady do my nails. I asked for coffin shape and to add a few gems. She did a decent job. However my coffin nails almost looked square. I wish she made them a bit skinnier. And i asked her to put gems in a line on my middle finger. when she put the gems on, she put a few on upside down. Like how do you not notice that. And some were out of line. Good thing my topcoat was still a bit wet so I could shift them over into place myself. At the end of that day I notice that my nails hurt a bit when I gently push down on them. People say that that's due to the tech filing down my nails too much.-WAXING-DO NOT get your wax done here. They do not seem to be sanitary at all. The older lady brought me into a small room in the back. The table that the clients lay on is covered with a towel that looks like it hasn't ever been washed. There were several noticable stains. And there was a little gold, flattened pillow that was completely uncovered. I immediately felt uncomfortable. The lady did a horrible job. She rushed thru everything. She waxed the main parts where i had stray hairs. And she gave me the mirror to ask how I like it. I told her it's OK and I asked her to clean it up a bit for me since you can't get the stray hairs that are closer to your eyebrow with just waxing. And this lady literally plucked like 2 pieces of hair on my left eyebrow and said I was done. She put the mirror at my face and when I tried to grab it she yanked it away. Like wtf lady. I do not pay you to do a half assed job. She didn't trim my eyebrows, didn't shape them or do anything. Had to fix them myself when I went home...$60 +tip for full set acrylics, gel nail polish with gem design, and matte top coat. And also an eyebrow wax. Thats really cheap. Maybe it'll be a better experience with a different nail tech. Just avoid waxing.

The best salon I have been to. I was with my clients today I work with people with developmental disabilities and in wheelchairs. We came from another salon with horrible customer service and general human decency. This salon was so polite and caring for my ladies. I will definitely be back and tell all my friends about this salon.

Great first experience! The staff went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and my Manicure from Mimi came out great :). Spa is clean, modern and I'm excited it's so close to my house.
