I've come here twice for eyelash extensions and won't be coming back again. My first visit was okay enough, although the extensions barely lasted a week. The second time I came in, the technician didn't bother to ask what kind of look I was interested in and just immediately started. The next day both of my eyes had swollen shut and when I called to ask if they had any availability for a removal appointment I was told it would be a few days. Instead of waiting I found another salon who was able to squeeze me in that day. The technician at that salon had to call in the help of another technician to aid in removing the extensions and they both agreed that too much glue was used  which was making the removal difficult. On top of that the lashes were glued to my actual lash line and not just my lashes (which is a big no no). I was left with chemical burns across my lash line and swollen lids for now over three days because of what I can only assume would be carelessness. I went there for an eyelash perm and tinting and I will never go back. The interior is nice enough and it appears clean. My technician came in early to accommodate me which was great. The procedure went without a hitch, I even booked an appointment for a wax. It was when I left that encountered problems. After my appointment I was sitting in my car looking at my lashes. I opened one of my eyes very wide which caused my eyelashes to adhere to the glue still all over my eyelid and was actually pulling my eyelid up away from my eye. I ran back inside and told the receptionist that I needed help. She jumped up and retrieved a tool and began unsticking my lashes. I know the other technicians witnessed this, the whole place is pretty open and I could see them all with their clients. I asked the receptionist what I should do since it seemed that my eyelashes were in danger of being ripped out. She said well we recommend that you use plain soap and water to get the glue off. I told her I was told not to get water on my lashes and she repeated her instructions. How bad is that, that your receptionist is working on a client in the entryway in front of other customers. Blows my mind that this was allowed. Anyway, I went home and used a q tip with some eye makeup remover on it to get some of the glue off. Are you kidding me???? Why was this not done before I left???? Upon further inspection the next day, it was obvious that she did not do a good job. Some of the lashes were kinked and turned sideways. It was really bad. Also, the dye wasn't even done correctly. You could clearly see she did not even reach the ends with the dye on my lower lashes. I never showed for my wax appointment, I felt that they didn't even have the courtesy to remove the glue from my eyes, why should I give the courtesy of a cancellation. For a business that calls itself "the lash bar" and focuses primarily on lashes, I am NOT IMPRESSED!!! I would never come back here and I would certainly never recommend this place to anyone. I have been getting my lashes done at the Lash Bar for about 3 years now. Tekeyla is the best around and even her lash technicians are all taught her technique and skill set so if for some reason I can't co-ordinate my schedule and have to see someone else there I still leave very pleased! Their prices are the best around and so is the workmanship. Having eyelash extensions makes getting ready in the morning so much quicker! I highly recommend this business! I had a full set done over the weekend by Kristen. I couldn't be happier with the results! I have received many compliments on my lashes and feel wonderful and confident going on my vacation this week. This was one of the quickest and most painless experiences I've had for eyelash extensions.I would highly recommend The Lash Bar and Spa to anyone looking for a wonderful set of lash extensions! I had my eyelashes done for my first time at Lash Bar a few weeks ago. The woman at the front desk was very slow to greet me and my appointment began approximately 30 minutes late. I scheduled my appointment with Sasha. She spoke very little and didn't take a moment to even ask me the look I wanted or if I had lashes before. The full set took about 1.5 hours, which left me with a 2 hour appointment due to the delay. The cost was great, costing just about $100 after a $25 tip. On my way out, I confirmed my appointment for 10 days later that I had previously scheduled. The receptionist got my name wrong 3 times and continued to tell me that my appointment was on a random day or time, that it was not. The last time, I asked her to just check the time slot/date to confirm my name finally. She did not respond and then finally asked me if I "needed a card or something" rather than simply confirming my appointment. When I returned, Sasha was great about accommodating my request for longer lashes however; the receptionist remained extremely rude and disorganized. She insisted I had been there more than two weeks prior, despite the fact that it has been exactly 10 days prior and I had the appointment in my phone to show her. I got the fill complete 10 days ago and am scheduled to return, but will certainly be canceling my next appointment. My lashes look great for about 5 days and then begin to fall out and tangle (despite brushing them as necessary and wearing no eye makeup). They are also very itchy and I have noticed recently as they begin to fall out, they are taking all of my natural lashes with them. I am due to have them removed in two days and will never have them done by lash bar again. At the present time, I probably have about 25% of my eyelash extensions remaining. It's hard to tell how many natural lashes I have, but I assume it's less than 50% without a doubt. I do want to say, I have heard amazing things about the work of the owner, and have had several friends very pleased with their lashes after she has done them. The only way I can imagine maintaining your lashes here would be with weekly fills and without regard to how your natural lashes are holding up. Read Less
