The lady who did my nails was extremely rude, she rushed me out of the chair because the next person was waiting, after they did my nails it was all rough and ragged, there was glue all over my fingers, the length of my nails were uneven, and they literally did my nails in 20 minutes, so you know they did a bad job. Went in for nail care. Not polish or fancy. The girl didn't really soak them ? 2 mins with no soap. Didn't shape them but left rough edges.didn't really do anything then asked me for full price manicure. I have never had such poor service. I went here & first off all they over charged my acrylic nails & not even a full week passed and some nails already started lifting and falling off they aren't good at nails. GO TO PK NAILS. Probably the WORSE place I've ever been to! After today, I will not be going back! MY nails are so damaged by the man repeatedly going over them with the super rough drill bit, I know he seen what he did because I was staring him in his face literally the whole time.. he painted my nails the wrong color & this is the third time he as done so, these people are so rough & careless, it's CRAZY! I have never review anything before, but I have to make effort to make people aware today. The worse experience ever! The lady grab my clothes when I walked in. I said" Don't I need to pick a color?" She said" yeah yeah, come sit here". All I can feel is pressure and rush! So Rude! They talk in their language the whole time and never acknowledge me. She never communicate with me to see how do I want it done. I have to consistently remind her what I like. Never mind the cleaness in this place. Everything is dusty. Their tools are all used without sanitized. Foot tubs are not sanitized or liner over. After all, she left me with my hands in front of the fan at her desk and went to another customer already. They do an excellent job with nails. Had 3 different people do them. I particularly like the way the younger girl does them. A couple of arguments with 2 different customers and the nail ladies. They were rude to the customers and then continue to all speak loudly in their language clearly talking about the customers. I personally feel they do great nails and I have had no issues whatsoever with them in any way. Its just kinda nice to go an relax and when they yell its not at all relaxing. I find it funny but many get pissed off. I will continue to go there. Love the entertainment! Read Less

For one , when they did my nails the lady dripped acrylic on me skin , it dried off and she didn't even get it off. I had to get it off myself so unless you want acrylic all over your hands don't go there . Read Less

I have never written a review before so when I have come to the point that this is the first complaint review, I mean do yourself the favor in NEVER coming to this place. Don't try it don't even look at it. They are completely rude starting off with not even letting me find the color I wanted. She literally took one of my hands to start doing them and I was trying to scramble through the bowl of shellac colors with the other. It took her 10 minutes to do them just so she can sit with her other co worker and watch a show. They speak in there language among themselves very loudly and constantly. She made all my cuticles bleed and didn't bother apologizing or caring for it the proper way. I left with the clear coat of shallac still overlapping into my fingers. Going back to cleanliness.... they aren't even clean, she didn't wash her hands before doing her service for me nor wiped down the table. I don't understand how they're even still in business. Terrible. I went in to have gel polish removed and asked if they took credit card, as I had no cash. They said yes and said they could remove the polish. The older woman with glasses was pushing me for a manicure, but I told her I wanted to give my nails a break and just have the gel removed. She was clearly mad that I didn't want additional services, so she begrudgingly removed the gel. I tried to make small talk, but she wouldn't engage with me. At the end, I asked if her she could please cut and file my nails and told her I would pay her. I hadn't realized how long they had gotten under the gel polish. To this, she rolled her eyes at me and huffed and puffed. After doing a terrible job, I then went to pay with my credit card, and they said it was a $10 minimum. I told her I would need to go the ATM -- and that's why I had asked if they took credit card when I walked in. She rolled her eyes and said she could do it anyway. I tipped her $3 on a $5 bill, when she clearly deserved no tip. To this, she did not even say thank you or have a nice night. She just started talking about me as I walked out. Probably the worst nail salon I have ever been to. Went in for a pedicure...fastest & worst pedicure I have ever had...nail tech did not even use separators on my toes...And when asked if she could put my flip flops on before she started painted she said "NO"... To top it all off, when I walked over to dry my unseparated toes the nail tech said "Are you going to pay me now or what?". With that, I was done with this place. Read Less

She cut-yes, CUT- three of my fingers while filing and kept scraping them repeatedly after. She kept apologizing but still continued on despite me pulling my hand back. The nail polish seemed old and it went on clumpy. The only good thing I can say from this experience is that she didn't leave a gap at the cuticle, which is a pet peeve. Definitely won't be back. I've never written a review before and it takes a lot for me to be so unsatisfied that I'm never going back. But singing, taking repeated phone calls, watching video clips and passing the phone around to colleagues, and eating (corn on the cob!) in front of me during my appointment, put me over the edge. No... no... no.So I walk in and no one tells me there is a sign in sheet on one of the random desks. then a few more people come in and sit down, eventually the girl says to sign on the sheet. Even though I was the first one there and the staff had seen me waiting for almost an hour, I don't get my name on the sheet first. For some stupid reason continue to wait. 2 hours later, I sit down for a pedicure and the girl immediately cuts my skin and I'm bleeding. I came here one afternoon with two friends. Myself and one other girl just had our nails painted, while the other got a mani pedi. The place was totally empty, but they seated the three of us away from each other so if we wanted to talk we had to shout. They kept trying to push pedis on us when we clearly stated we were all set. They asked us several times during the whole process. The nail techs did not chat with us. They chatted amongst themselves, giggling now and then.At some point during the process the male tech came over to me, grabbed my hand, inspected it, laughed and said something in whatever Asian language they were speaking. By the tone of his voice, I knew it was something rude. I couldn't wait to leave the entire time.The job she did wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. I had been going here for 10+ years. I guess I just put up with all the crap from them. The other day, they took it too far. My sister and I went in to get mani's and pedi's, picked our colors and were waiting patiently. The nailpolish my sister had slipped and hit the tile floor and broke. Of course they started to ramble on in their language and one guy told us to leave the mess. A nasty woman said to get paper towels. So I went and got a bunch of wet paper towels to clean in up and she comes over with a dust pan and yells at me to sit down, because I was apparently tracking nail polish on the floor. So that was my que to get up and leave. The worst part is that up until the attitude, we were going to pay for the broken bottle, but we were so irritated that we just left and told them they would never see us there again. Those people really need to learn some customer service. How can you run a business and treat your customers like this? It's just ridiculous. Not to mention that the last time I had shellac done here, they were off within a week because they were just peeling away. If I could give this place less than one star I would. I can't believe this place is still in business when I look on here and see that for years people have been giving it bad reviews.  It's criminal for them to be open. First of all, they told me it would take 30 min and it took almost  2 hrs. A man glued the nails on me without working on my cuticles first.  When I asked him about it, he said it would cost $5 extra and even though I said never mind, he used the mechanical drill/sander to round out my cuticles which of course led to my skin bleeding.  He didn't care,and he didn't even apply a disinfectant. My nails were put on thick and ugly and the polish was uneven and even got on parts of my skin which he also didn't care to correct.  The place is dirty.  They talk Chinese constantly to each other while doing the job and my manicurist even used his cell phone while working on me.  I told him my husband was going to come in to pay and he kept asking me "where's your husband" in a suspicious way as if I was going to run out of the place which wasn't even that busy. Bottom line, UGLY turnout of this 2hr manicure, UNSANITARY, and definitely UNPROFESSIONAL and when I complained they still made me pay full price. Unprofessional service.  My daughter and I had a lousy experience today and I came on Yelp to check out what other customers experiences were.   I thought that maybe we caught them on an off day but from reading all of the other comments I can see that Lee Nails just sucks.  We sat down for pedicures.  The woman that I had was too preoccupied with her cell phone to notice that she was murdering my feet.  She was brutal.  She also answered and talked on her cell phone for most of my pedicure.  When she wasn't on her cell phone talking she was checking it.   The man who worked on my daughter's feet looked and acted like he was hung over and definitely bored while doing her pedicure.  His work was just as lax as the woman that I had.  He checked his cell phone during her pedicure and both of them actually missed a portion of the corner of our big toes with the nail polish.  As all of this was going on another man who worked there was loudly talking and laughing to sometimes yelling to no one in particular while he danced around the large gold Buddha statue.  This lasted for over five minutes continuously.  Like another commenter, the thought crossed my mind to not leave a tip for either one of them which is taboo for me.  However, after all of this while we were sitting with our toes drying we discussed our experiences and both of us came to the conclusion that we would not leave any tip.   We didn't tip either one of them and that is something that I have never done.   The service was that bad.  Don't waste your money. No. Just no. I went in here because its close to UMASS and I did not have time to drive to Fall River where I could have went to a place with a 3x better review on Yelp. They told me to pick out a color from the Shellac color section. Their Shellac colors are displayed on popsicle sticks with one end painted with the color. Very unprofessional. You can barely tell what the color would actually look like on your white nail because its on a brown popsicle stick. So I picked a color that I thought was red, and on my nail it came out more pink. But that's not the problem.Shellac is supposed to last 2 weeks if it is done correctly.  Literally 24 hours after going here my thumb nail was already half chipped off. I went in for them to fix it and I could not even bring myself to pay them for the nail repair or a tip because I had just paid good money ($25 for Shellac manicure and a $5 tip) for a manicure that is more expensive because it is supposed to last 2 weeks. It is now 4 days post manicure and the rest of my nails are already starting to chip. I have never gotten a worse Shellac manicure. Not going here again and you should save yourself the money as well. Read Less

While I was picking a color, one of Dartmouth's finer citizens - complete w/ tramp stamp, pajama pants, and dingy headband - walks in for "Acrylic full set" and suddenly I'm the redheaded stepchild. How can this be? You ask.Well it's simple: my manicure costs ten dollars and a "full set" costs almost three times that much.My manicurist promptly began rushing through my service, filing back and forth (seriously, who the hell still does that to natural nails??) and constantly checking the door because Snooki said she would be back. And to top it all off, my finger was bleeding like there was no tomorrow after the cuticle removal!! And to top THAT all off, it got painted over, so I had a painted nail with congealed blood under it!!I contemplated not tipping. Seriously contemplated it. But I just couldn't do it, I'm not one of those people. I hope they were just having an off day, but I'm not going back to find out.I came home only to redo everything. If I had known that this would be the result, I would have stayed home and not maimed my finger.All joking aside, whether someone spends ONE dollar or ONE HUNDRED dollars, you should treat them all with the same level of service.
