My last nail salon messed up my nails so I decided it was time for a change. I went into Cherry Nails and Spa today for a full bio gel set as well as a shellac pedicure. The ladies at this location are very welcoming and accommodating. My technician did my manicure/pedi and I will never go to anyone else again. She is a perfectionist (which I love because I am too) so everything turned out just the way I wanted. I will definitely be returning!! Read Less

I have lived on the south coast for about 4 years now. Moved from the west coast. I have been searching for a salon that does colored powder ever since and I finally did. I am so happy with this salon. Brittany, the girl who helped me had a mess she had to take off. I felt bad. So she gently removed everything I previously had put on. She took her time soaking and grinding the old stuff off. And then she applied the new powder just like I asked. My cuticles were cut by the previous person who did them the other day so she was gentle with my nails through the whole process. They have soo many colors of powders here. I'm soo excited to start regularly coming here. And to make this place even better they actually make appointments on Mon - Thur. The weekends are walk in only which makes total sense. I finally have a new nail place I'm truly happy and excited to go to. I highly recommend this place. They are also centrally located in the shopping plaza behind the Dartmouth Mall. This place is awful. The guy rushed the entire time doing my nails. He acted as tho I was a bother to him. He burned my skin off with the Dremel to the point that I bled on multiple fingers, not one single appology. I got UV gel acrylics, normally I can get more than 2 weeks out of them, within 2 days a nail completely broke off, when I went back to have him fix it, he acted like it was my fault. Not even a week after getting them originally done and I had to go to another place to have them fixed. Ended up having to have 8 nails replaced because they were already separating. I've been to plenty nail salons and this is hands down the worse place I've ever been to. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Save your money and go up the street to 4 Nails! I absolutely loved my dip powder color and the way she applied it but my reason for 1 star and why I won’t be back is because they charged me an extra 5$ for cuticle removal. I have been to my fair share of nail salons and I’ve never seen that. It’s usually included in the price of the $30 gel manicure and dipping powder manicure. I’d pay 5$ extra for nail art but not to get my cuticle pushed back. I will not be back and I will advise anyone to go another salon in the area. 4 nails spa is really good as well and for now on I’m going there. Read Less

ive been going to cherry nails for a couple months and was very happy when lynn was doing my nails and I get a dip manicure ! I never had an issue with her doing my nails ! but my last two times ive been there ive had to have someone else do my nails, cause lynn quit !?!?! and I would have the dip on one of my nails off within a day or two ! I will never go there again plus what type of manicure doesn't clean or cut your cuticles?!?!? they charge you $5 extra wen that usually goes with a manicure and I get dip manicure ! plus wen lynn did my nails, my nails could last up to a month without a chip! so now I'm on a hunt for a new nail salon that is worth the money I spend cause I don't spend all this money just to have my nail dip come off the next day or two or I would have painted my own nails for free ! I also forgot to mention how I always get a design and the who I saw last time said he knew exactly what I meant and completely did another one I like the one he did on my right hand but then wen he did my left hand he did a straight sloppy job ! and then was being rude actually he was being rude and awkward the whole time and neglecting me ! and then he got upset wen I told him how the designs didn't look alike cause I was getting the same design on each hand ! but now since lynn isn't there and since she hasn't been there I gave them two more tries and had a different person eachtime and it has tough me that basically they lost a talented employee ! cause now I need to find a new place to get my dip manicure ! and I also forgot to mention how I drove there from Plymouth just cause of lynn the other two types was a waste of gas and money ! Went there two weeks ago to try the dipping gel, my nails came out great. Went there for the second time yesterday, let's just say that's the last time I'm going there. My nails came out horrible, not shaped the way I wanted it and the guy rushed through my nails. I honestly could of done a better job myself. Good service and prices. Only place around that does ANC nails... only gripe is that they are bad at quoting wait times.... they always say 15-20 mins and it's sometimes an hour. If it's busy, quote a realistic time so we can maybe do errands in the meantime? *Update* I had originally given 4 stars, but changed it to 3... It's pretty lousy that they stopped taking credit/debit cards, and just take cash or checks... and they have put an ATM in "for convenience" that I'm sure they get a percentage of the charge for using it... I drive 20 minutes out of my way to go to Cherry nails regularly instead of opting for a closer nail salon. They always do a great job at a fair price. I love the 'dip' style nail treatment that I get and they are the only place around that does it. I've never had bad service here and the give accurate wait times when it's busy. If you want a mega-fancy spa treatment then you should find someplace else to go, but if you want a nice nail service at an affordable price then definitely try Cherry. Read Less
