Got a regular pedicure and gel manicure. $55, not bad at all. Color is OPI I'll have a Manhattan with one coat of glitter polish on top. They use plastic liners for the pedicures which is awesome because it keeps everything clean and sanitary. Will return again in the next few weeks. Read Less

I came in with my sister for a quick mani/pedi before a work out class (we had enough time for it to dry!) We came here instead of our usual place because it was local to the class. I had a woman, and my sister had a man who did our nails. The woman I had was extremely rough with my nails. There were many times I even said "ow!" but nothing changed. However, when I left my nails looked great and actually lasted a long time. However, I ended up with a small infection on my finger from her cutting too roughly and too close to the cuticle. Finally after a few weeks it has gone away. Due to this, I will not return and sadly it seems like many others had the same complaints on here. Read Less

Hi,I actually got a beautiful manicure and they were able to take me when I called. However, the actual store is quite old and shabby and looked a bit unclean. I had no clue this place existed until it was recommended to me by a friend. It was less expensive than my usual salon and they do FAR better work. My shellac mani lasted a full three weeks without peeling, and would have lasted longer had I not needed to cut them down! Karina and her staff are amazing! Often times when getting your nails done, you dread getting "that person", but at Style no matter who you get, Ken, Lan, or Yen you'll receive a perfect service. The salon is super clean, their color selection is vast, and they will do their best to fit you in if you don't have an appointment. I got so many compliments on my nails the past few days I figured I'd come on here and leave a review. Looking at some of these negative reviews, I'm super confused. I started going to Style Nails when I lived in Danvers right around the corner. I ended up moving back to Revere but still drive here to get my nails done because I have not found a better place! Karina and her team keep the place crazy clean and they always have the newest color selection. Now my family and I fight over time slots for appointments! Haha. I used to bite my nails so now that I have them I'm overly picky about how they look and every-single-time they are on point. I highly recommend you give this place a try for yourselves! First time here... My regular ultra clean salon could not accommodate me last minute. When I walked In I should have walked right out! Polish choices were so old and crusty with no up to date colors at all! As I looked around I was not happy... Place was messy and dirty... Trash on floor... Dirty stations.... Ken did my mani~ pedi... His fingernails were disgusting.... Several were very long and dirty!Needless to say two days later my nails are a mess and several cuticles are puffy and sore! I took my bridal party (10 girls total) to Style Nails the day before my wedding and they were so awesome. I worked with Karina to set everything up, and she was awesome. They let us bring in snacks and champagne and did all of our manicures/pedicures efficiently while we were able to have a good time. It's also been over two weeks and my gel mani and pedicure still hasn't chipped one bit. Would definitely recommend! Read Less

This review is for a pink and white fill only. I have been getting pink and white around the country for about a decade. One of the male technicians took me right away and started filing. He seemed to know what he was doing when he started. When he opened the container of pink powder, it has lots of grey dust or dirt in the jar. He tried to shake it away and it still managed to end up in my pink portion of my nails. He was using the wrong drill heads to file. He tools were dirty with no sign of a way to sanitize tools in between customers. When he put gel on top and they dried in the uv drying machine, he then put a coat of clear nail polish over the gel. What?!?!? That ruins the gel's whole purpose. The polish chipped the next day and left a dull, grainy pink and white nail below the chipped off polish. It is noticeable where the polish has peeled off of all the nails the very next day! It was average cost. Easy location to find. But crappy pink and white. Read Less

I have struggled for years to find a nail salon that I love. I'm so picky when it comes to my nails and usually leave disappointed. However, I am always pleased with my results every time I've gone to Style nails. Ken is hilarious and does a phenomenal job! I've also gone to Lan quite a few times she does an amazing job as well. I have been going here about 1-2 yrs since reading some good reviews on here.  My first experiences were positive.  Good pedicure, really solid manicure.  No complaints whatsoever.The last three times, it's been a holy disaster!  I have been bleeding every single time I've been there - with three different techs.  Then when I say, "ouch" or yank my hand away, they look at me like I'm being a baby, there's no apologies or anything.  This last time (which is absolutely the last time I will ever go there!) the cut was so bad she had to clue my skin back together.  She poured that stuff to make you stop bleeding but that didn't work so next thing I know, she's squeezing the nail blue on my cuticle.  All I can think of now is that I'm going to get some flesh eating bacterial infection! Got my nails done & the staff/environment was really fun!  My one issue is that before I knew it my manicure was left with stubby nails- she just started clipping & it was too late to say anything! I was never asked if I wanted them cut or just filed & she just cut them- so not happy!  I don't like my fingers super short & now that's what I'm left with!... Also by the evening my nails have started chipping!I may give them another try (in several weeks when this one grows out!) & perhaps go to another nail specialist- but not super thrilled on my first visit! Go somewhere else. I spent 100$ here the other day, and my results were crap. My gel manicure peeled off after 5 days. I got a pedicure and the lady dug and ripped out a tiny ingrown toenail, that didn't even hurt to begin with. But she continuously dug at it til I bled. Well I now have an infection in that area. My toe hurt the rest of the day and the next morning it was throbbing. When I pushed on it, puss came out. I went to the doctors and he said it was an infection from the pedicure and the tools she use to dig apart my toe. I'm still trying to fight the infection. So do yourself a favor and just go somewhere else. Read Less

Great salon! I usually have no problem calling same day to come in. I'll even sometimes call when I'm leaving from work and they've always come through to take me. They are also the cheapest salon I've found whose service is just as good (if not better) than other, more expensive salons I've been to.I'm a stickler for a perfect manicure, and they are very meticulous with their service. Once in awhile, depending who did my nails, I have had to speak up when something wasn't to my liking. But, they are always willing to correct any issue and I've always left happy with the service. I always make sure I ask for the quick-dry oil since I'm prone to smudging my nails once I get home.I'm so glad they offer CND Vinylux and OPI Infinite Shine polishes (extra $5). I've found not a lot of salons carry those yet and they are a great cheaper alternative to shellac. (1 week no-chip mani that comes off with regular nail polish!)My sister regularly gets shellac manicures ($25) here and has never complained. She's tried other places where they would start peeling within the first few days. Style recently started a promotion for 10% off services on certain days as well! Read Less

Have only received a pedicure, but will be back for more. I used to do nails myself so my standards are probably higher than others. Extremely clean, use hot rocks and hot towels during massage, and never felt uncomfortable in the environment (all English speaking). Prices are very reasonable for the exceptional service provided. After recommending this place to several people, my last three visits have been very very disappointing and unprofessional! A few weeks ago I made an appointment with Karina (the owner) for a shellac manicure but due to some staffing problems, she was not able to do my nails. She had her mother do my nails. The manicure was NOT satisfactory but I bit my tongue and said nothing! I let it go and Karina did apologize for the change.I made another appointment for a shellac manicure with Karina and once again she blew me off and had Ken do my nails. Mind you Ken is excellent and I was more than pleased to have him do my nails but the point is she blew me off a second time. But this time she offered no apology or explanation. On Wednesday I called to ask if Ken was available for a pedi and I was told he was totally booked for the rest of the day so I made an appointment for a pedicure with Ken for the following day. My appointment was for Thursday at 3:15.I arrived five minutes early on Thursday and after walking in, without looking up, Karina said - sign in and pick a color. (I said I have an appointment but that was never acknowledged.) After 15 minutes, Ken started working on another client. So I said: "excuse me, I had a 3:15 appointment" but apparently it was never entered into the book. Karina NEVER said another word this entire time. Ken did do my pedicure but I told him I was upset about the treatment I had for the last three appointments. It seems to me that Karina ( the owner) is/was taking advantage of me and when *I* am paying for  a service, I expect to be treated like a valued customer! What did she think? Was she thinking that because I like the work she does that she can make me WAIT and take the walk-ins ahead of me even though I take the time to make an appointment? There are many nail salons in the immediate area so I don't need to be treated this way!I have been going to that salon for several months now. I have ALWAYS made an appointment because I do NOT like waiting or having to be turned away to come back at another time and I feel that appointments should be honored. Never have I missed an appointment and I have NEVER NEVER been late although I have had to wait on many occasions. Had Karina come over to me privately or publicly and acknowledged a mistake had been made, I would have accepted that. BUT instead - SHE TOTALLY IGNORED ME AND SAID NOTHING.... ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! I was in town for the weekend and made an appt at Style Nails for a shellac manicure with my mom.  When we got there I was disappointed to find out that they didn't carry my favorite shade of shellac and was telling my Mom how bummed I was. I then spilled my entire cup of coffee on the floor. I thought for sure they would be upset and annoyed by me, but the lady who helped me clean it up was SO nice about it. When she did my nails she layered two colors to get the shade of my favorite shellac color. She was SO nice and I really don't think my nails have ever looked better.
