Bought package deal for 1 hr pedicure, shellac mani, and eye brow wax. Pedicure was 30 min at best. Shellac mani was rushed. Eye brow wax is horrific. She took off half my eye brows and even missed spots. Really regret spending money here. What I got was definitely worth less than the $70 service. I had a very good experience with Jenny. She was very nice, kept up a friendly conversation, and made my nails look very nice. I had a gel French manicure from another salon, and half my nails broke, probably from being too long before. Jenny made sure to add a strengthener to my nails, as well as an extra coat of polish. I wouldn't even give it one star. This place is filthy. I just went in for a gel color change. I felt rushed and the lady that did my nails was awful. Color change came out bumpy. I have gone to this CoCo location for a few years now and have always loved it. I went last night after not being there in a while due to moving and it has gone way down hill. They rushed the deluxe pedicure and I even had to ask the lady to file the nail evenly before she was about to paint my toes. Then they put a gel top coat on top of my regular nail polish and she had to start over. While I was there they told about 15 people to come back at 8:15 with only 4 people working. I expressed how unhappy I was and they apologized but they charged me in full which I should have been offered a discount. I will not be returning to CoCo.Also, I used to think that this place was very clean but last night she was going to do my manicure with a dirty towel with clipped nails hanging all over it. I had to ask her to get a clean towel. But I can tell that they just don't care anymore the place looks dirty, not pulled together anymore. Too overpriced for the "service" they provide. Read Less

So I've been coming to this for a while- even before it changed ownership. I'm type A and very particular. This place is clean!  They also do a great job - and as long as the place isn't crazy- spend a lot of time on you. The Deluxe pedicure is an absolute must- the 15 minutes massage with creams and scrubs is the best- really, Dont cheat yourself out of this. The mall is terrible- but it's worth it for this place. They also do a good job with eyebrows. So if you haven't been here since it changed ownership- please give it another try- sooooo much better. This could very well be my new favorite salon.  They are open until 9:00 and happily took me at 8:15 for a pedicure and even squeezed in a brow wax at 8:50 without complaint.  The pedicure with Amy was one of the best-she gave a great foot massage complete with hot stones!  And Irene did a great job on my brows, after another salon left them uneven.  The pricing is comparable to other salons but CoCo is so much cleaner and has a much more upscale feeling.  I felt bad coming so close to closing but they didn't rush me at all.  I will definitely be back! Though other reviews are mostly negative, this place claims that it is under new management so if you're up for giving it a second chance, I highly recommend it! I'm a tough critic and pay very close attention to detail. I love this place because it's extremely clean, friendly, and the employees are talented at what they do. Although the staff is courteous my pedicure was very rushed ! Definitely not worth the money ! Over the last 20 years I have had a lot of pedicures and this was not a salon I would return to. DO NOT GO HERE!Everyone is right about this place. I went there yesterday and sat with the only guy that works there. I was very unhappy. Some of my nails were pointing upward and the gel was bumpy. I'm the type that wouldn't say anything but they came out so bad I  couldn't stand looking at them anymore so I went back to have them removed. I was worried that I would get stuck with the same guy because he killed me.  He was so rough with the nail filer and the hand held electric filer that he made me bleed a few times. I hated the feeling of the nail filer cutting through my skin. All I could think of was how many people has he done this to before me with the SAME nail filer??. The germs! . Anyway I ended up just getting a manicure but he didn't clean up my cuticles. Oh yeah the nail polished has already chipped. I should of just asked for my money back. THE WORST!!!!  They weren't open at 10 am when they were supposed to open, employees wandered in, not paying attention to waiting customers.  The manicurist who did my nails acted like he could not have been bothered and made LESS THAN a half assed effort to do the job.  My nails started to chip within 2 days.  Would NOT recommend to my worst enemy. I had the unfortunate pleasure of seeing the only guy who works there, he didn't say hello to me, didn't talk to me once, and was pissed that he had to give me a gel manicure. I've been here a few times and always had a good to excellent experience.  There can be a bit of a wait on weekend days, but you sign in and just sit and relax.  It does depend on who you get, but I have never had any problems with them at all.  I've gotten mostly pedis here, but last time I went I got a mani with the more expensive silver cap OPI stuff, as well as a pedi.  So far so good, especially the pedi.  The mani is just a little bit fuzzy around the edges; nothing I can't easily fix myself.  The salon is large, clean, and they get you in and out pretty fast although you will never be rushed.  The same lady did both the mani and pedi so there is none of that awkward "Whom to tip" silliness when more than one person takes care of you.  She did not seem to speak one word of English, besides the very minimum of "nail terms",  not any problem for me, but I thought I would mention it because if you have any special needs it helps to know that you might have a bit of trouble getting that across.  She was very sweet and definitely knows what she is doing, though.  The prices are fair--what you would expect at a basic nail place.  Some of these reviews are pretty dire, but hopefully with the new management they will be able to rise above them.  Always sort Yelp reviews by date. This place is awful. Don't bother wasting your money. I called two hours before they closed to see if they could do a manicure and pedicure, they told me that was fine and to come on in. I drive all the way down there, and first of all the guy at the desk looked at me like he had no idea what a manicure was and then said no one did manicures there and to come back tomorrow. Are you kidding?.. Then the girl who I spoke to came up and said "oh sorry we're actually too busy, I'm the one you talked to on the phone". If you were too busy why'd you have me drive all the way down here? Not only that but some guy doing a pedicure looked up and laughed. I came there with 100$ to spend and looks like you guys missed out on that for your poor customer service. I really can't believe that just happened. DO NOT GO...save your money for basically anywhere else but here. Personally, the worst bail salon I've been to. I've only gotten shellac twice before, but this was awful.The  color looks so watered down even when I asked for an extra coat made no difference.It actually looks like a child painted it the detail is way off and it's already chipping (I got it today) They aren't very friendly at all.Just an all around terrible job. Omg read the reviews before you go!!Everyone is right here...the customer service is just "lacking" for lack of better words. My friend and I actually scheduled an appointment and I went pretty late in the day. I got a manicure and during my manicure there were 3 walk-ins and each time someone came in the lady doing my nails actually got up and left me mid-manicure to go give them waxes.  So, she left me just sitting there. Then the third time she left to go start someone else's manicure. It was just really unprofessional and Ive had my nails done plenty of times and have never had anything like this happen.Also, my friend said that the lady doing her pedicure had a timer on and the technician seemed to be rushing through it and when the alarm went off she like immediately ended. This place used to be so good and my most recent trip ruined it.1. Walk in and see two ladies soaking in pedi tubs with no technicians in sight. (One lady complains to her pedi-buddy when she's done that it's been more than an hour and she's skipping her mani.)2. Sister made two 5:30 mani/pedi appts. Greeter has no idea what I'm talking about then asks me to wait.3. I start my mani at 5:50 and then my technician leaves in the middle of it (for what I smell as a smoke break). Sister finally gets put in a pedi chair at 6:20 while her technician leaves to not only WAX another person's eyebrows but also fix two previous customer's bad pedi jobs.4. While we are getting our pedis (Sister decides to skip a mani), technicians are laughing and talking to each other in another language.5. Technician is not careful at all about my popped blister, does not give me a hand massage post mani, or give me a sugar scrub on my legs. (Edit: apparently sugar scrub - which is standard at ANY other place - costs $10 extra.)Never coming back here - should have obviously read the reviews first. My sister and I have been here several times, and until today we've had a great experience. Thanks to the lady who did her nails, her bag was soaked through on the bottom with water from the spa chair. She had to remove all of the items, which were soggy and dripping, and actually ring out the bag (which was cloth and not lined or waterproof). The lady didn't seem concerned or alarmed in any way, even when all the items were laid out on the manicure table because the bag was no longer useable. She continued to chew gum like a 12 year old girl, smacking it so loud I could hear it at the next station, like nothing was wrong.When she relocated her to the station to sit and dry your nails, and carried over all her personal belongings that could no longer be carried in her bag, she forgot to bring her keys. The single male who appears to work in the place, who has been so nice to us in the past, brought them over and noticed a soggy gift certificate my sister had - which was for a manicure and spa pedicure. That is what we had both gotten. He semi-rudely asked if it was hers, looked it over, and returned it to her.The spa pedicure is $35. The manicure and spa pedicure is $37. So you can imagine our surprise when she gave him the gift certificate and he told her it was another $10.What the eff?Nowhere on their "menu" is there a $47 price for a manicure and spa pedicure combination. NOWHERE.And no apology for ruining everything in her bag, including your own gift certificate that somebody already paid money for.Forget you. You are NOT worth it. Read Less

I stopped in for a pedicure on a Saturday afternoon, no appt.  The place is really big with lots of chairs and manicure tables.  It's brightly lit and very new and modern looking.  There was someone at the desk who greeted me right away and escorted me over to the pedicure chair where he immediately began to draw the water for the pedicure, adjusted my chair and turned on the massage.  I was able to soak for a few minutes before the person doing the pedicure came over.  I thought this was a nice gesture instead of having me sit in the waiting area.During the pedicure, about 1/3 of the way into it, the person left to go do a mani and I had a new person.  I barely noticed because I was engrossed in my magazine.  The newer person gave the pedicure much more gusto than the first person.  Both the other person and now this person asked me if I wanted a manicure too (upsell!) but I didn't want to press my luck (see my other nail salon horror reviews) and stuck to the pedicure for a first visit.  By now, I've confirmed to 3 different people, "basic" pedicure, no manicure.On my way out, I was surprised to see the pedicure menu had a note that callous removal is not part of the "basic" pedicure.  My basic included a 5 second slough with the sandpaperish-block.  No gel applied to callouses or sloughing of that area.  However, the pedicurist spent about 15 minutes on a foot and leg massage with scented lotion.All in all a good experience.  I noticed the pedicure tools were shrink wrapped in sterilized packages, as were the flipflops.  No blood drawn.  The chair was super comfortable and the massage equipment worked great.Minus one star since I think callous removal should be part of the basic pedicure, that's a big reason why I go get a pedicure instead of the do-it-yourself job I could do at home.  Oh well, they made up for it with the extended foot massage.I will go back and try a manicure and if all goes well, I might change my review to 5 stars.  The location is right next to the movie theater entrance.  I think this is different than an older nail salon that used to be a few spots up. ugh. gave this place a great review in the past that has to be deleted. I'm currently sitting in a broken pedicure chair with my feet in cold water waiting for my 10:30am appointment to start and it's currently 11:10am. why make an appt?!? oh and I'm here with 3 friends (2 pedis, 1 mani) for my birthday and they are clearly not impressed...... 11:26am update: am currently halfway through my pedicure and my lady gets up and says "1 minute" and goes in the back to do a wax for an impatient customer. are you kidding me?! my friend whose also getting a pedi is sitting next to me freezing with feet in cold water. manicure friend has not been acknowledged and is in waiting area.11:40: 1hr and 10min later they can finally take my poor friend whose been waiting for a simple manicure. she refused (i wouldve too) and they didn't even apologize.11:56am: my pedicure is finally finishing up. couldn't of happened fast enough. I will never be back.------------------------------The post above was written on 2/18/13 when I got the pedicure, I just forgot to submit it to Yelp, since I drafted it on my iphone. On 2/20/13 I started noticing a rash on my legs below my knees (where they touched for the pedi). It is currently 2/25/13 and I was in the doctor this morning, diagnosed with a STAPH INFECTION.
