The employees (all women when I was there) are all very accommodating and professional and the space is very modern and clean with no TVs blaring. I got a very nice quality gel manicure, super neatly done and not too heavy, very natural looking. Also had a pedicure that looks great and was fine, but nothing special...I am used to a much longer, more relaxing experience. The downside here is the lack of comfort - the straight-back benches for pedicures are very uncomfortable, I infinitely prefer a chair with some ability to adjust it. The seats for having your hands done are also very rigid and uncomfortable and there are no cushioned props for wrists or hands, just a hard counter with a towel on it. This is a terrific place, serene, spotlessly clean and friendly professionals. Very different setting than the chaotic frantic setting of other salons which leads to a very calming relaxing experience. I also started using their skin products and am going back for more. Read Less

Went for the first time 17 days ago.  I'm stating this because my gel still looks good!  I garden, cook and clean.  Got a compliment today on my nails. Now they've grown out so its time for a mani but excellent job!  The place is clean and the music is very relaxing.  No chitter chatter among the staff. All very polite & friendly. Read Less

the space is nice and so are the employees.  very nice.  but my mani pedi resulted in bleeding cuticles on 3 fingers on my left hand and two extremely painful and now infected cuts on my toes.  i have had many mani pedis in my life but never one that sent me to the doctor for antibiotics.  needless to say i am extremely frustrated and will not return. I was in town for a wedding and had made an appointment for a gel manicure. This nail salon was one of the best I have ever been to. The inside was spotless and very clean. All the nail tools were sterilized in professional sterilization bags. The service was wonderful! All the woman who were working were friendly and always smiling. My manicure came out fantastic and I was so pleased with the service I ended up having a lip wax also. I would recommend Averies nail salon to anyone!! Read Less

Great nail salon / spa on the south shore. The sign/storefront is tucked right into the plaza attached to the Cohasset Train station - really convenient, especially if you are dropping in the plaza for the gym. Best of all the location is new, modern, white and clean. The interior is cute - lots of white with nail polish along the wall and the staff is super friendly and polite. My new FAVORITE Nail Salon.  The Salon is very clean and convenient.  I followed my favorite french manicurist Eva, and was very pleased with the nail salon.  Everyone that works there is unbelievably friendly and gracious.  I was offered coffee and my nails were started while Eva finished another client.  My manicure and pedicure were amazing and with the Gel lasted 2 weeks!!!!  Highly recommend this place. Stay away! Stay very far away. Their employees aren't trained well. My friend and I went for manicures and they cut her finger deeply. It became infected and she's now under the care of a hand surgeon. What bothers me the most, though, is the lack of concern for this incident. Rather than apologizing, the owner went on a rant accusing my friend of wanting money (which she did not). There are plenty of other good local places to get your nails done than put up with this nonsense. Read Less

My mom and I dropped into Averie's (it might be Averle?) today for pedicures. The place is the most attractive nail salon we've been to. It's modern and sleek, unlike most nail salons which can look a little cheap. We felt it was very clean and all the instruments used for our service came out of sterilization bags. They did a great job with the pedicure and the massage was excellent. The only downside is that there are no massage chairs. But, to tell you the truth, I didn't miss it that much. Massage chairs are so ugly and would ruin the beautiful aesthetic of the room. My mom and I will definitely be back! Read Less
