This place is a frantic mess. The owners are so unprofessional and treat the employees poorly. You think they are getting their full pay or tips? Think again. Their Kuma line is just a bunch of cheap generic goop that they put in jars with their label on it in some dark Chicopee warehouse. Literally ponds cold cream level junk. They don’t even have ingredients listed either. What kind of place can sell products without ingredients listed? And if you think those pedicure tubs are getting sanitized think again!! Having an expensive facial with cheap generic products your idea of money well spent? Yes I am an unhappy customer and when I got an infection and tried to work out something reasonable with them I found out a lot about their salon and practices. I think the worst thing I found out is how Jim harasses the female staff and they have to put up with it or be out of work. He has them Give him “services” and they either do it or get less bookings. Worse his own wife and co owner stands by and let’s this happen. Well I am working with the department of public health and the state licensing board directly and gathering employees whistleblowing statements to protect young females from this predator and the public from the filth and unregulated products they sell. Been here a couple times for a gel manicure and the first couple appts went very well. The nail techs were always very nice and did great work. My recent appt was yesterday. I showed up for my appt early like I usual do, the room was packed due to the holiday and when I checked in I was told by the male receptionist that the nail tech never showed up for her shift and I could not be fit in (which is understandable around the holidays). What bothered me enough was the loud tone I was spoken too for everyone to hear my business and to be made feel as a little client that didn’t matter. No eye contact (dealing with other clients at the same time as my turn down) No sympathy, no apologetic offer... I was quite embarrassed walking out in front of a crowded room who over heard. Had a very "mixed" experience there last evening. My facial and massage were wonderful, but the interaction with management - not so great.There was a problem with the scheduling, I booked a Petit Facial and one hour massage. I made it very clear because I asked on the phone how long each session would take (so I could be home for dinner - haha!). Because there is no clock in the facial room, I had no idea that the session was running longer than it was supposed to. I actuall...y then waited a bit for my massage, so it wasn't like the first session ran too long and the masseuse was waiting on me. Upon finishing both, the male manager told me I had actually gotten more than the Petit Facial and wanted me to pay $25 extra. I said I did not want the esthetician to not be compensated the proper amount because of a scheduling error, he said I would need to pay the extra to avoid that!! He also made a point to tell me that the gift certificate I was paying with was purchased on a promotion - I think that was very unprofessional. Someone was kind enough to give this to me as a gift! Sitting here is a total turn off. Yes I am a walk in no I wouldn't mind waiting hours if I didn't feel like I was being talked down to or offended. Sitting here Andrea asked a customer over the phone if they had ethnic hair. Quote ethnic hair not sure if she realizes how offensive that is to ask anyone. I've been going here for a while now. The girls are amazing and Francine is a doll. BUT I recently wrote a check for 60 which they cashed for 100. It took an entire week of fighting for Jim to get around to correcting the issue. I gave the staff the check number 3 times and they still had the check number wrong when they went to the bank. I was told it was how I wrote my numbers and no one caught it. Plenty of excuses and not enough loyalty to the customer or common customer service. Won't be back. Read Less

Went for a gel manicure, got charge 38 bucks, No massage in my hands, no lotions and what's worst, same day one of my nail started to peel off then the second day another nail and kept going... when I go to another place my gel polish usually stays for a month or I usually get tired of the color. The rest of the staff was very friendly and you can tell they all get along well and have great relationships with their clients. The spa was extremely clean, comfortable and very relaxing. I have been going to Victoria sins she was a recent grad. Her passion for healing and service are a cut about the rest. Not only is she professional and light hearted but she's exudes a confidence that immediately puts you at ease. Staff is awesome, everyone is extremely friendly and very helpful. Each time I've been there, I've been checked in upon arrival in a timely manner and have always been offered a beverage. The spa is always clean and the setting is very peaceful and soothing. I've had quite a few services at the spa, including manicures, pedicures, as well as hair cuts and I've never been disappointed. I would recommend Face to Nails to anyone looking for a great place to be pampered. In response to another review that I read, I've had my nails done by Jameela several times and never had any complaints. She did in fact check her phone while I was with her as well, but it was never more than her looking at the time so it never bothered me. I don't believe there is a clock in the nail room so when you have set appointments, I'm sure it's helpful to know what time it is to see if you are running on schedule. Read Less

This is a nice little hidden gem. From the outside, you'd think it was some hole-in-the-wall salon. Inside, though, no way!This is definitely a spa. Two floors, modern furniture, beautiful environment. Everyone was very friendly and professional. I only went in for a haircut, but I wish I had gone for more.I had my haircut by one of the few male stylists there. Though I tend to be a little nervy about letting guys style up my hair, I gave him my trust and left pleased. He gave my limpy, fine hair a nice, voluminous cut that grew out beautifully over the next few months. My layers still curl out and fall down with little styling effort. He definitely worked some magic... now if only I could remember his name. I suppose my only complaint could be that everyone seemed a bit quiet and absorbed in their work. Not bad, but I like a little laugh and conversation out of my stylist.Salon price was pretty typical for a spa environment; pricey. I think I paid 40-something before tip.
