Poor customer service. No interest in helping pick a nail colour or making suggestions. Female member of staff caught skin twice with drill and used her own nail to push cuticle back which was sore. Walked in late at night and they were able to take us. The staff was super friendly, even offered us waters while we had our pedis!! Walked in late at night and they were able to take us, even though they were very busy. We waited in the pedi chair which I dont mind as I could use the extra soak. The waiting area itself is tiny and needs an update, perhaps a sofa? We enjoyed laughing at the episodes of Friends playing on the TV.  We found the staff super friendly and they even offered us bottled water during our service. The little extra things go along way for me. The prices were a little high but we will be back for sure and utilize the reward card for future savings. This is such a great place, I wish i lived closer. My sister who does live in Chelmsford, comes here religiously and her nails are always on point. They do a very good job on all their services. I rarely ever write reviews but I always read them! So I thought it would be helpful to write reviews, especially great finds!I've been searching for a place around my area Lowell/Chelmsford/Dracut you name it. But for some reason I haven't been completely satisfied with the places I go to. I called ahead for a gel manicure because I've learned my lessons about walk-ins. (Especially when I'm on a time constriction) Icolor asked me what time I would like, if it was my first time, and what I would like to have done. Nice large outside building, decent parking area, and smaller than expected inside - but clean! Told them I had my appointment, picked my color, and sat down. They had "friends" playing on their large TV screen - big plus for me Jenny did a great job on my nails, got me a water bottle while I was waiting for my old gel polish to be removed, and asked me every time she did something to make sure I was completely satisfied. I only gave 4 stars because I didn't get a pedicure yet! But can't wait for my next visit. These are my real nails - couldn't be happier! Read Less

Just had my third set of acrylics done by hollywood nails and I have loved them all. Took the last set off myself and my nails were still in good condition underneath. Asked for a Christmas design I seen online and they done it without any hassle. My mum and two sisters also got designs done and they are lovely. The staff are all very friendly and efficient. Used electric nail file and cheap products. Nails wouldn't budge. Was worried about catching as a properly done acrylic would ping off to save the nail underneath if caught but these would take the nail off too. They wear masks so what on earth is in the products? I asked them not to use electric nail file as I didn't like it. He told me the nail wouldn't stick without it and ignored me and continued using it. Well it does at all other technicians. Yay! I feel like I finally found a nail place I can go to over and over again. Den took off the acrylics that were beyond repair from another place I had been going, and recommended the liquid gel. She took her time (I was there for almost 2 hours) and was so gentle. My nails came out great. They look natural and the liquid gel idea was awesome. The spa is clean and atmosphere professional. I just left my first appointment at IColor and saw Emily. She did an incredible job. She had to soak my acrylics off and did my first ever gel manicure and I could not be happier. Emily was very detailed, and her first concern was the integrity of my real nails and guided me to the best services to help my nails. I've been here 3x already. I come for the SNS dip. This lasts 2-3 weeks and is not harsh on my nails at all! The establishment is very clean, the ladies that work there are very warm and welcoming. Went for the first time a couple of weeks ago and couldn't have been more pleased! It was clean, the staff was so nice and made an effort to get to know me. I walked in for a reg pedi & mani. Also my daughter got one herself. We were prepping to go away for a trip. Excellent job ladies. I dont mind spending the money when i receive quality work 👌 just what i love seeing.my daughter got lil designs on her nails she absolutely loved. I also had my fuzzy 5 month old with me. Best nail salon I've ever been to. Super clean, tons of colors to choose from ! The girls are helpful in helping you decide which color you want. Because I know I'm not only speaking for myself when I'm always going back and forth between a few colors haha. All of the girls always take their time and are consistent each time you go. Decided to try this place after reading a couple Google reviews that said it was a very clean and modern place. I went there with an open mind but also an indecisive one. I didn't know exactly what I wanted for a design but I knew I wanted something that would be unique and not easy to do. I clearly asked the woman at the front desk what the MAXIMUM amount it would cost me to have a full set with designs and rhinestones, assuming I have them done on all 10 fingers. She told me it would be no more then $12 extra. I ended up opting for gel polish after my nail tech told me that the gel will be shinier, last longer, and is guaranteed to keep the rhinestones on the nail. I asked her how much my total would be with the gel polish and the design that I wanted and she told me it would be $50. Once I was finished, I went to the front desk to pay and when I was taking out $60 to give her ($50 + $10 tip) she starts to calculate numbers and mutter how she's giving me several discounts...I tell her that I was initially told that the most it would cost me is $42 and that I was already being charged more than that but perhaps that initial quote didn't include the gel polish. She then asks me how much money I have, insinuating that she is going to offer me a discount after again raising/changing the price on me. I tell her I was only planning on spending $60 on my nails, tops. So she says, "ok, I'll only charge you $58 then." And once again, she reminds me how many discounts she gave me. While I agree I wasn't the most simplistic customer and had a hard time making up my mind about what designs I wanted on my nails, the actual designs she did weren't very difficult or complex at all. Definitely not as complicated as she made it seem when charging me!! I essentially got 8 of my nails painted a solid gel polish, the other 2 nails with glitter, and then designs on 4 nails...my index fingers just have a couple diagonal lines with different colors in between each line and some glitter and then my ring fingers have a rainbow leopard design with one rhinestone on one of the leopard spots that coincides with that color spot. Then on thumb and pinky I asked her to put clear rhinestones going across the tip of the nails but at that point she had a scheduled customer waiting so she said it would look better if I just had 3 rhinestones going across the tip of my thumbs and just one on my pinky. Don't get me wrong, she did a good job and was definitely patient with me and my indecisiveness  (for the most part) but the reason I'm hesitant to go back is due to the fact that they overestimated the complexity of what I actually had done and changed the price on me several times...in the end making it seem like they gave me all these discounts that they actually didn't even give me considering at my old nail salon I would've paid about $40-50 for what I paid $60 for there. I ended up only giving her a $2 tip because of the price changing so many times and the fact that I had only taken $60 with me so I kind of felt bad...but that feeling bad was short-lived when the very next day 3 of the rhinestones fell off. I was going to go in and ask them to repair them, considering I had specifically paid $10 extra for the gel polish on the presumption that the rhinestones wouldn't fall off, but I never found the time to get in there as I'm a single mom of 2 toddlers. Not to mention, I figured they wouldn't have fixed them for free seeing as I only tipped them $2. Back to my search for a new nail salon. Read Less

After having acrylics on my nails for years, I decided to let my nails grow out - I also wasn't overly happy with the old salon I went to.  So, I tried a couple of places and then happened to make an appointment here because it is close to where I have a networking meeting every week.  So glad I did!  They told me about SNS - an "acrylic type" of nail treatment that doesn't damage your nails; and it would help my nails to grow out.So far I have only had this manicure 3 times, but each time was great.  The salon is clean and the hot wax treatment is included!  I will need to soon have a pedicure - we'll see how that goes! Called on Friday night to make an appointment for a gel mani first thing Saturday morning; to my delight I got an appt for 9am right when they open. I had an early afternoon wedding to attend so time was of the essence. I arrived at 8:55 and they were already open with people in chairs! These people don't mess around, and I love it. The manicure itself was awesome; complimentary water, they played How I Met Your Mother and Friends via Netflix on the TV, and the tech was super polite. I have never ever been to a place that includes a keratin wax glove with their standard manicure, but this place does and it was awesome, and for $28?? Can't beat it. My only qualm is that the gel was put on a little thick, I like mine to be very thin, but it won't deter me from coming back! Read Less

Whenever I'm home in Massachusetts, I don't have a go-to spot for nails. It's usually random but glad I found this place 5 minutes from my house!It's SO clean and the pedicure seats are very comfortable... I loved the neck pillow. I want a pedicure chair just to sit in in my living room. This is a luxurious spa offers a calming and serene atmosphere for some serious pampering. Spa Pedicure ($40): For the price you pay, it's so worth it. The service is a bit longer because it has more steps, in addition to the standard pedi, such as an aromatic exfoliating scrub, hydrating mask, hot towel wrap and a foot massage that rejuvenates the skin as well as relaxing the muscles. I've been here several times now.  I am always impressed with their cleanliness and unbelievable selection of both gel and regular nail polish color options.   Everyone that works here is extremely friendly especially the owner Tram.  They cover the pedicure tub with plastic for each person and use brand new tools out of a bag for each new customer as well which eliminates a major concern for me.  The most amazing thing was on my third visit or so I had made an appointment for 6pm, not realizing that they close at 7pm with Lisa for my wedding nails (which is probably why they let me make the appointment so late anyway) and then I proceeded to be about 45 minutes late to that appointment as well.  Not only did they still take me, Lisa stayed there at the salon alone with me, taking her time and doing an amazing job on my mani and pedi.  I was super stressed from last minute wedding details and Lisa made me feel relaxed and didn't even put the guilt trip on about my tardiness.  I live in Nashua and drive past about 50 salons to go to IColor and it's absolutely worth it.  I highly recommend this place.  If you live far, it's worth the drive, if you live close you're lucky!
