My previous two visits for a manicure and pedicure went well. I had Lola both times. On this visit, Lola wasn't there, and I had someone else. I think her name was Cara. She took 15 minutes on the manicure. Unlike Lola, she didn't soak my hands, buff my nails, or apply lotion. The pedicure was much better. She then charged me $71 for these services, I called back and asked the receptionist what they charged. She said $24 for a manicure and $35 got a pedicure. I told her I was charged $71. She checked some records and said Lola's price for a manicure was $41. So they would charge me that and credit me $6 dollars on my next visit. There won't be a next visit. Read Less

In July, I thought I would try this hair salon and I still regret it.  First of all, I made an appointment for a wet cut.  When I got there, I told the girl what kind of haircut I wanted and then I explicitly told her what haircut I DID NOT want.  I could not believe my eyes when I saw she had given me the exact haircut I had told her I did not want.  This haircut is a nightmare.  First, it was ungodly short with those two sideburns or whatever that older ladies sometimes sport and which I told the hairdresser I did not want.  When it started to grow out, the back became a mullet.  I doubt this haircut will ever grow back evenly and correctly, it is just a butcher job.  I kept waiting for the day it would look ok, and that has not happened yet.  LOL  I would never, ever return to this salon.  It is the worst haircut I have gotten since I was 10 years old and I am in my 60's now.  Oh yes, and I was charged for a regular cut, not a wet cut.  Bad salon on every level. Lets just say i live in Boston and make special trips here to get my hair done with Lindsay at least once a month. Meaning ive tried MULTIPLE places in Boston and no one cuts it (pun intended!!) like she does. I get everything here - keratin, color, everything.. And im VERY high maintenance with my hair. I recently got married, and had my and my bridesmaid's hair and makeup done at our hotel in Truro. Cassidy did my hair exactly as I wanted, in loose beach curls that lasted the entire night, and Carri made my face up exactly as I requested--a subtle look where I still looked like myself, just a bit better :)  I just got my wedding photos back, and my hair and makeup look fantastic, and held up through 5 hours of rain and dancing. Not only that, but they were so pleasant to chat with and even helped me button up my wedding dress as I was racing out the door. Amazing work, amazing service, amazing people. Laurie is not only the nicest person on the earth but she's a great stylist and obviously knows hospitality. I've been going to her since she worked elsewhere and followed her and the gals to their new home. I am an on-the-fly customer and can't book ahead but they're always able to accommodate me. I see Raimi whenever I am bored with my hair. She is ALWAYS able to fit me into her schedule and takes the time to talk out ideas with me. I am a big over planner/overthinker, but when I go in to see Raimi, I hardly think about hair decisions because I completely trust her! She has never done wrong with my hair, and we have done numerous colorings, cuts/trims, stylings, and even eyebrow waxing! I haven't been to many hair salons on the Cape, but I had a great experience at Hair Affinity and wanted to share.I got a trim and some long layers from Raimi, and a manicure from Cassidy. They both did beautiful jobs -- I left feeling so pampered! Everyone at Hair Affinity was very welcoming, and made me feel right at home. I'll be back for sure. Read Less
