If I could choose no stars, I would. I went in for a simple gel mani. I had finally grown out my nails to a nice length and already had them nice and filed for the most part. The woman asked if I wanted them square( which they already were) so I said to just make sure they were all even. She cut them down to NUBS, she couldn't even square them anymore they were so short. She didn't clean my left over nail polish off from around the edges. Then for whatever reason she switches with another woman who puts on my clear coat, then she comes back. They also told me I need to put my nails under the light twice, well I hadn't at one point and tried telling them that and they didn't seem to care. She puts the first coat of color on and misses a spot so i asked if she could cover it, an gentleman ends up coming over and taking over for her. They take all the color off and start over 🤦🏻‍♀️. Apparently it takes THREE different people to do my nails. I could not wait to get out of there, i didn't even know which one i should of tipped, really I probably shouldn't have bothered at all. Some of them were rude too. I know it's such a silly issue, but seriously if you want your nails done- the way YOU want in a timely manner, DON'T go here! I would never go back.  I have gone a couple times to get pedicures and it's because they are convenient and in the mall.  Prices not so great, but again, it's in the mall and you are there, so you go.  My toes have been really sore after as they just aren't very good, not to my experience.  I have had the young guy do them and he seems lost at times.  Otherwise one of the girls.  I have also had them say your toes are dry and I go out and they smudge.  Just took my daughter a couple weeks back as she had a big school dance.  Her very first time getting artificial nails and that is all she wanted.  The lady at the front that usually greets you when you come to the door did her nails.  She was unfriendly, abrupt with my younger daughter and had no patience.  My youngest went to look over to watch her big sister getting her nails done and the lady snapped at her to go sit down. WTH?  Seriously?  And she did not trim my daughters nail, file them, nothing.  I made the mistake of walking out and coming back to find that the lady rushed the nail job pretty much.  The nails were thick and looked like they were rushed and fake.  Sucky job, sucky lady, sucky place.  I did NOT give a tip. Hell no!  We will not be back and will not recommend this place again.  Hey guess what a NEW NAIL salon going in the mall in August.  Hey lady at the front of Nail Gallery, bet you will start giving better customer service now cause you got some competition for business.  Guess what?  You aren't doing us a favor doing our nails.  We are paying you for your services so start treating people respectfully as we treat you by giving you our business. Horrible!!!!!! The nail technician was rude since the beginning. We called and explained we were running late. (Rolled her eyes) We came in she sat my niece and I in different chairs. Complained they were too busy and they have 5 technicians and 4 guests. Seems pretty normal to me. Began to argue with one another in the establishment making guest feel uncomfortable. Got my nails done on a Sunday, was not too happy with the results but the price was not terrible so I dealt with it. One of my nails fell off on Thursday went back Saturday to get it fixed she wanted me to pay for it but eventually gave it to me for free. Then on Monday two more of my nails fell off even though I did not do anything that would make them come off easily, clearly they did not do a well enough job. My daughter and I made appointments, which they said had to be back-to-back because they didn't have enough staff. When we got there, 2 young staff members were sprawled out on their phones, doing nothing. The manager asked if one of them would do my fill. Neither would. I cannot get over how I paid $75 (after tip) for a mani/pedi and have such horrible results. The pedicure was quick and included minimal callus removal, followed by a quick polish application. I decided to upgrade my manicure to gel while my toes dried. As I was getting ready to leave I asked TWICE if he thought my toes were all set and he said yes. Went home and my nails were stuck to my socks! I returned the next day and they CHARGED ME $10 to gel just two toes. Really?? I went on vacation the next day and 4 days later, as I write this, the $30 gel manicure is falling off. I've had regular $12 manicures last longer!! The manicure was also horrible to begin with. He globbed on the polish and told me it would last a month. Both times I went in and said "good afternoon " and "have a nice day" with ZERO response from the lady at the front desk. I go here all the time and have never had a bad experience.  My manicures last forever.  In a pinch, I get eyebrow and upper lip waxes here -- and they're quick and perfect.  I never break out.  I'm really surprised by the poor reviews.  The staff may be fast and concise and quiet -- but I've never interpreted that as rude. Gel manicure was rushed through and started chipping two days later. Now it's 4 days later and it looks like I've had them done for two weeks already. I've gone to a way less professional looking & inexpensive salon before and had a gel mani last 3 weeks! Pedicures are average. I went here for the convenience but it's not worth the money. Also seems as if they make up prices as they go. Mani and pedi was $54 but a friend of mine called asking for the same service on the same day and told her $60... Staff are friendly though. Terrible service! Went in for convenience because I was in the mall. Picked out a color and sat down for a manicure. The bottle was old and the first coat on the first nail was enough to tell. The lady kept using it even though I told her repeatedly it's a bad bottle and is applying dry and chunky. She completely ignored what I was saying. As I walked to the drying station I commented to the other lady who I thought was in charge how $h1tty the nailpolish was and it looked patchy. No response at all!!!!! How is this place still in business with NO customer service? On top they ask you pay ahead of time and I made the mistake of tipping beforehand :/ never going to this place again. I think that 1 star is being generous. This place was horrible. I stood right in front of 3 of the staff, said hello, and they all ignored me and went back to their phones. Finally, another woman came over and asked what I'd like done. Not only was that the quickest eyebrow wax I've ever had done, it was horrible! She didn't wipe the rest of the wax off of my face, left stray plucked hairs all over my face and the best part...they charged $13 for it. This place was horrible.  I made reservations for 2:15 for my five year old and I on Mother's Day for mani/pedi.  At 3:00 they still had not taken my daughter.  They sat us down together so I assumed we were both getting pedis and then 45 minutes later they still had not started my daughter.   The manicurist who did mine hurt me twice, I had to raise my voice to get him to understand to stop hurting me.  We will never go there again.  Absolutely horrible.  Then the manager tried to tell me it was my fault that it took so long to get to my daughter. Bad.  Deblorable. Horrible. I don't even know what to say about the pathetic job that was done on my pedicure and nail polish change/nail repair.  The two repaired looked like my 7 year old did them.  The polish was streaky on both and I was cut numerous times. Sloppy work done by inexperienced "techs" it was just a miserable experience.  If you have enough emergency need to have a nail fixed or polished do yourself a favor and just amputate the damn finger and move on.  It would still look better that the streaky bubbled hack job they did on me. I was given a gift certificate to here from a friend. I was saving it to use on my birthday. Out of curiousity, I came to Yelp to see reivews and get an idea of pricing. I was so scared to go based on other bad reviews here that I almost didn't go! But because I wasn't paying for it myself, I figured I didn't have anything to lose. I had a GREAT experience here. I do not know why there are so many bad reviews! I got a pedicure. It took just shy of an hour. The massage chair was amazing. The water temp was fine. The lady was nice to me and talked to me about my baby (I was 9 months pregnant when I went). She wasn't super talkative, but just enough to make nice convo while I relaxed. She scrubbed my legs with this really good smells scrub, then put this thick mask on my legs that felt all tingly and wrapped my legs with hot towels. It felt SO good. My polish turned out great and hasn't chipped at all yet (been about 5 days). The only weird thing was that I had a gift certificate for $40. I got a basic pedicure that their price list said was $27. When I gave her the gift certificate, she just ripped it up. I'm not sure if she just didn't read that it was for $40 or was trying to rip me off. That's the only bad experience I had, but I was not planning on going back (don't get my nails done that often), so it doesn't really matter that much to me. Overall, I would definitely go back. This is worst most disgusting nail salon I've ever been to in my life. I wouldn't come back here even if it was free. I'm an attorney and was forced to report this disgusting place of a "business" to the state, the board of health and the town of burlington. I got a really bad nail infection from this salon after getting a manicure and am currently getting treatment for it from my doctor. Not so thrilled about this place, I needed to get my nails done before heading back to school for the year and I wouldn't have time when I got back to school. The price at this place is really good, but the work that they do is very poor. I went in to go get French gel nails, and the way the lady did my nails was not professional at all, it looked like I did it myself and I'm pretty poor with my own nails. Got a pedicure here an loved the way it turned out so I decided to go back to get some acrylic tips. Well I'm not happy with it! Not only did the guy hurt my fingers he took forever! 2hrs! They didn't speak English at all( the girls who were there when I got my pedicure spoke perfect English). My nails look like poo an their already starting to come off, it's only been 2 days. :-/..... I really like this salon.  I was a bit turned off when I read some of the reviews but I am happy to say that my experience did not turn out the same way.  They took me right away, helped me pick out my gel color and were very pleasant!!  My only negative was that the gel manicure was a bit more then you would pay outside the mall. I was at the mall and decided to get an impulse mani/pedi. I had a few events the following weekend, and I wanted my manicure to last so I got a shellac for my hands and regular for my toes. Both are in great shape. There's no smudging at all, and nothing has chipped. It's been 2 weeks. Read Less

Recently came here for a mani/pedi. Bad service. Run away. The chairs were nice and seemed luxourious enough (except for the fact when i turned the massage on the technician told me to turn it off). She did a good job, I got a decent massage and lotion was used. She also painted my nails quite nicely. The language barrier was not a problem as she spoke perfect english. AND THEN IT GETS WORSE... The girl that did my pedicure switches off with an older lady, (whom I assume is the manager, if you go on their website she is the first lady in the picture.) She was the absolutely RUDE. Not only that, but when she spoke english to me, I could not understand her AT ALL. It was hard to figure out what she was saying, leaving both me and her frustrated (mostly me, being the one who was paying for it.) My nails didn't come out that good (I could have done a better job myself). Overall, i spent $50 (+ $5 tip) here for the mani/pedi and i can honestly say it was money flushed down the toilet. If you want to get crappy service and be talked about in a language that you don't understand, this is the perfect place for you! Otherwise, don't waste your time. AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL!!!! I went there for gel nails and a pedicure. The girl who did my pedicure was nice but didn't do much. She cut my skin twice and could not paint my toenails. She kept removing and redoing my nails because they were looking awful and she couldn't get the polish on right. No massage or lotion. Very poor. I went in with a friend and it took the girl so long to do the pedi that my friend ended up starting her nails like 20 minutes before me. Then she hands me off to the guy. First chair as you come in the door. (4 chairs from my friend) He was SO RUDE. I said hello to him and he just looked at me. Not a word the whole time. I have a broken nail that grows out cracked. I asked him to put acrylic on it and he just grunted. He did the gel on it anyways without putting on the acrylic. He did my gel nails in about 10 minutes FLAT! He started 20 minutes AFTER the girl who was doing my friend and finished about a minute after she was done. The next day I already had one chipped nail. I called and told the girl who answered the phone that it chipped. She said to come in the next day. I couldn't do it so I went in the day after. By then two OTHER nails had chipped as well. She said ""well WHY YOU WAIT SO LONG TO COME BACK?!"" like that extra day caused the other two to chip? Seriously? Doesn't this last for like 2 weeks? So she grudgingly fixed them as she talked about me to the idiot who did it the other day in whatever language they speak. Today I woke up and ANOTHER one was chipped? Are you kidding me? I came in to get a manicure and pedicure and realized it wasn't owned by Robin anymore. There were a few familiar faces I recognized from before,but I got a young lady with short hair that I have never seen there before. She did an awful job. I got red for my toes and the paint job wasn't even and it was all over my cuticles. I got french on my finger nails and let me tell you the french was uneven and there were white spots everywhere on my nails. She was rushing on my nails when the salon WASN'T even busy. ok- so let me start wiht the fact I dont get regular manis anymore. Used to - but not now.I went here because of convenince factor- hey its in the mall- closer than any other place to my house.I waited a few minutes ('you pick out color') and then sat at a table with an older woman . Explained I just wanted a mani and basic color.She barely spoke with me (language barrier maybe?) but did ask how I liked the shape of my nails (square thank you) and then used that whizzing drill like took to 'file' my nails .She cut my cuticle on one finger and it bled. The second was almost like a burn mark and hurt for days afterwards ....I dont think Id go back- not a huge fan of having pretty nails with scabs on the rest of my finger...She didnt even apologize.. bummer because the nails looked good otherwise. This place is just very unprofessional. I've put up with the constant babble among the manicurists in a language I (and I daresay MOST of the clients) do not understand. I've tolerated the card games in front of the clients when business is slow. I've been nauseated by the smell of food as the manicurists open their styrofoam meals and proceed to eat (and comment on the quality of the food) in front of customers. Typing this makes me furious at myself for going back .. but it was quick. Well, today was it for me. When I lifted a foot out of the pedicure bath the manicurist was spraying the sides at the same time - and the water splashed on her and the manicurist next to her. They both were horrified - (the manicurist next to mine shrieked ""What the HELL!"") .. not horrified because the water splashed - no they were upset that THEY got (slightly) sprayed! The client next to me pointed out that it was only water and the manicurist said (with disgust) that it was DIRTY water.. Never an apology to me for the fact that she was spraying when I lifted my foot. Instead they were positively indignant. I'll never go there again. And I don't think they could care less. That , alone, should be reason never to go there again! Cleanliness is not a priority here, either. I've never seen a tool come out of the autoclave. In fact, I don't even think it's plugged in. And yes, I'm embarassed to have gone there as long as I did....... Read Less

I recently went in to get a fill in of my gel nails. To start, they charged double what I am used to, but since I am new to the area I figured it was normal. I was seated immediately, and I told the woman that my natural nails are thin and too be careful when filing them down, and to also make the gel nails rather thin and natural looking. Instead, she filed the nail down till it actually bled. She went almost all the way through a few of my nails, even after I mentioned she was hurting me! Then, she put three coats of gel on my nails, making them far from natural looking. In all, I would warn anyone with thin nails away from this place, as well as anyone who wants there artifical nails to appear natural! Read Less
