This was my 1st time coming here. My sisters, mom & I were given gift certificates back in April for 28.00 to get a pedicure. The certificates were good for 1 year but they don't guarantee the price, seems during the last 2 months they raised there price $1.00. *Keep that in mind if you give someone a gift certificate* We had an appointment & went at 3:30 on a Wednesday, they were pretty busy but still able to accommodate our group of 4, 3 of us were able to sit together. I had a regular manicure & got my toes painted for $28.00, I picked a color and she got right to work, I enjoyed having someone else work on my nails & she did a pretty good job. I. Love. This. Place. This was my first visit, I was looking for mood changing colors and they had a bunch. I got a gel pedi for my first time too! ( about 45 for a gel pedi. Regular pedi is regular price. ) they even use hot stones on your legs as part of the massage. I'm a massage therapist myself so seeing the use of something I was trained in being a modality type thing at a NAIL SALON is FABULOUS. I worked with Peter. This is one of my regular nail places i go to. Its usually great but today was horrible. I got there around 545 and I had to wait almost 20 min it was slammed. But the real problem was the woman who did my nails. She rushed through my gel mani. She barely worked on my cuticles and everything they do before painting the nails. When my nails were in the uv machine I felt she wasnt letting me leave them in the machine for the whole time . I was finished within 30 min after she started. I got a manicure/pedicure here for my birthday and will not be going back. The woman who did my nails made both my big toes and two of my fingers bleed. On the toes, she snipped the corners of the nail and then proceeded to pull the side of the nail all the way down past the skin in spite of my saying it hurt and it starting to bleed. On my fingers, she just butchered my cuticles. They were a bigger mess when I left than when I got there. She was very, very apologetic and I felt bad - it seemed like maybe she was new? If that's the case, she is clearly not ready to be seeing clients yet. When she shaped my nails, they were all different shapes, some of them actually coming to points. I liked this nail salon a lot when I first started coming. Every time I went in I would come out with great nails no matter who was doing them. Lately things have changed- it seems like there are new employees all the time and many of them aren't great. I went in a couple weeks ago and got a nail tech that seemed like she was having a bad day. She kept looking at my nails and shaking her head saying they were very bad and asked me where I got them done last. I told her here. Then I told her the shape I wanted and she said "that shape costs extra". I've NEVER heard that in my life. The other issue is that they are extremely busy on Saturdays and won't accommodate you if you have something special you want done even if you make an appointment. I heard someone next to me asking for ombre nails and they said they couldn't do it that day. This is unfortunate since for some people the only time they can come is on a Saturday. I'll probably try to find another nail salon from now on that wont make me feel like I'm being a nuisance. Read Less

There's a really good reason why they're always busy. Not only are they friendly but they are also great at what they do. I've seen them do it all, from gel to acrylics... This is my third visit to the salon, I can't be more happy about how amazing Paul is. During the first 2 visits I had regular gel mani and then the last couple of times i did the s and s which i completely happy with  and neat and fast. Honestly, probably the best place I've been to. I am a nail tech myself and honestly was just too lazy to do my own nails... because I was going to the mall, I wanted to find a place that was close. Found Glamour Nails and I don't think I'll be doing my nails by myself ever again. I love pretty far from them, but I'll take that 40 mins drive every two weeks for them to do my nails. I have been living in Woburn for a few years now and keep searching for a great nail place. This one has decent reviews but I was disappointed. Pros: very large and lots of nail technicians so I had no problem getting an appointment. They have a huge selection of regular and gel polishes. I liked that they used removable liners for the pedicure.Cons: the woman who did my gel manicure and pedicure spoke zero English. I tried to ask for some glitter at the bottom of my nails (near cuticles) and she had no idea what I meant. So one of the other technicians tried to translate and she still did it wrong. I have been going to Nancy on and off for a while now. I took a break from getting acrylics and just recently decided to get a full set for vacation at another salon close to my work. They didn't come out the way I like so I called Nancy and she fixed them and made them so much better. She always greets everyone at the door and is always on time. Very professional!! Read Less

Decided to try a new nail salon, but folks SAVE YOUR MONEY!!At first it looked promising because of how busy it was, but after it's said and done their job quality is poor!Got a standard manicure and it came out bubbly. The nail technician had to retouch!Than I went for a wax. The woman needed my help to in certain areas to get the wax strip in place, which destroyed my nails. At this point I didn't even bother asking for her to fix them. She could clearly see she screwed up nails once again.  If there had been any customer service she should have offered to fix them!!My sister came with me and her nail technician was rough and did sloppy work!! This salon is always busy, but is appropriately staffed to accommodate the flow. Nancy is phenomenal! I get pink and white (acrylics) and the results look natural. Very thin...yet her work never chips or cracks and the fill lines are invisible. I go to Dani for my pedicure (though I know she primarily does nails/manicures) because her artwork is awesome and I always get nail art with my pedicures. I have not been to the salon in over a year so I was looking forward to getting pampered but Michael went beyond that and I left feeling rejuvenated and relaxed. The pedicure he gave me was amazing. He used a scrub, hot stones, hot towels and massaged my tired feet. My gel manicure turned out awesome too. He takes his time to make you feel like your his only client and the result is perfection! Glamour nails is very clean. I also like the fact that the ladies speak English and I do not need to fear that someone will misunderstand what needs to be done/wait for a translator. The lady who owns it is very polite. Even when they are super busy, they try to squeeze you in and still do a great job sometimes. But they will rush you to pick a color and dislike being directed on what you want. It depends on who does your nails. Most are very good, but there are a couple of them that I avoid. After reading many positive reviews about the services of this nail saloon, I decided to finally get an appointment and get my nails done. The girl who did my acrylics was really nice, she talked to me throughout my appointment making me feel welcome and comfortable. However, she didn't make an amazing job with my nails. Even though they were expensive, they were built hastily and presented many flaws, just by looking at them you could clearly see some nails were built upright and the length changed grandly between the two hands. The appointment to remove them was one of the most unpleasant experiences me and my hands ever had to make. The girl who worked with me was not only rude and bad-mannered, she also lacked talent and patience. She removed my acrylics carelessly, ripping them from the side, which I later discovered being a really aggressive method that is highly non recommended, leaving my natural nails not only damaged, but bleeding as well. Months after,they still haven't completely recovered though I took good care of them. I don't think I will ever go there again, the personal is mostly polite but with unexperienced elements that can harm delicate nails and damage them like they did with mine. Read Less

I didn't know quite what to expect, but my experience here was amazing! The manicure took almost 2 hours including the design. She is Dannie. She is really patient . It came out so good. Nancy and Paul are wonderful I get my nails done here all the time. My nails last at least a month if there's ever an issue I call them and they fix it right away prices are very reasonable. I also get a deluxe pedicure never will go any other way but the deluxe. Love them!! Read Less

Busy, but they did my wife's bridal party well with a week's notice. (held chairs for us) one of the Techs was nice but the 2nd one they had was VERY grumpy and unhelpful. he did a good job on my wife's nails but was very forceful with hand placement and rude. Not impressed. The only reason I came here was because I was in the area visiting a friend, and we were doing manis before brunch. We both got gel manicures and it felt extremely rushed. The girl that removed my gel nail polish was so rough and pretty much wrecked my nails since she didn't remove the nail polish properly. She also cut 6 of my cuticles to the point they were red and inflamed. Even though we had appointments, it seemed to me like they just wanted us out the door to make more $$. 5 days out and the sides are already lifting on my mani. Unbelievable. When I get a gel mani at my nail salon here in CT, I go 3+ weeks with my nails intact. Definitely won't be returning here. Read Less

Giving this place 3 stars because the first time I came here was on a Friday afternoon and even though it was beyond busy in there, I was taken right away and the lady took her time. My gel manicure lasted a week and a half! Went here again last night and my nails are extremely uneven and it looks like I got the manicure a few days ago... So I understand I went on a very busy day. The Friday before Christmas so I take some responsibility, but I waited a fair amount of time. Why I'm disappointed is because I got gel polish on my finger nails and they started to chip 3 days after they were done, and they haven't stoped chipping. Which is why I'm sad. Read Less

Met the sweetest & strongest woman today. She gave me hope that things do get better. She lost all her hair Friday after her first session of chemo. Either she went through chemo or she would've died very soon. She took her daughter and son in law to the nail salon to welcome them back from being deployed. Her oldest is getting married in August and she couldn't be any happier, she had a smile on her face the whole entire time she was there.. She told her nail lady that she r...eceived a beautiful journal and that she is very excited to write her day to day thoughts in it as she goes through her difficult journey with cancer. She said no matter how bad things can get that she will always have something positive to write down to back up those negative thoughts because you won't make it living in doubt.
