I have been coming here lately to get my nails done because I discovered there was a FREE parking lot in the back of the building (shared with the laundromat and hair salon next door). I've visited 3 times now for gel mani and regular pedi, and have had pleasant experiences every time. It was always busy no matter what day/time I went for walk-ins, but luckily, the turn-over was pretty fast because they had enough staff working.The facility was clean and bright, with 4 pedi massage chairs and 5 mani stations. They had a large polish selection for both regular and gel, even newer lines like OPI Alice Through the Looking Glass and Essie Spring 2016 collections.Service and appearance were professional. The technicians all wore aprons and name tags. They always greeted me with a smile and checked with me on my preferred nail shape and if I wanted my nails cut or filed - you'd be surprised by how many other salons I've been to where they don't ask these basic questions. The staff were not into small talk, which some customers prefer, because they're very focused on the job.Other notes:- If you are in a rush and don't mind getting your mani & pedi at the same time, they will gladly do that, provided there are enough technicians available of course. - They accept credit card payment for services $15 and up. As with most salons, gratuity must be paid in cash.- They have special promotions like: free paraffin with gel mani and buy 12 manis, get 1 free deal.Next time, I'm going to try the nail designs - the sample designs looked so pretty! I'm also a Lan groupie.  I followed her here from another salon.  She's the best.  I've been going to her for years and won't go to anyone else unless I absolutely have to.  Oh and I make sure to allow time for a massage, especially when I'm getting a pedi! Read Less

So happy I came here ! This is a great clean salon with great prices.  Lan works here now ( I've been going to lan for years at another salon) and she's fantastic ! Nails Connection is recently under new management with Lan. I've been going to her for many years..  Lan is a true professional. She listens to and understands her customers requests. She cares about results and makes sure every mani/pedi is perfect. The facility is clean, comfortable and everyone is nice. Great polish choices as well. I highly recommend Nails Connection. I absolutely loved it here. I was greeted by two lovely ladies when I walked in and asked to pick a color (immense collection of polishes, by the way). After finding a color, I sat in the chair and began to relax. The young lady doing my nails asked me if I wanted my nails cut down and/or filed, I gave her my response and the experience began. She was fabulous with my nails, paying great attention to each one, instead of conversing with me (thank goodness). I like to get my nails done in silence and she totally picked up on that. The pedicure took about an hour and afterwards, I was brought to her table to begin my nails. Ta-da! There was a cold water waiting there for me and lollipops at the dryer station (I did not notice on my way in)! I was super stoked as I was terribly thirsty and when I asked if I could have the water, the young lady responded, "of course, that's for you." That's when I was sold! Not only did she do a fabulous job with my nails but it only cost me $34 (excluding tip). I walked in at 2:10pm Friday afternoon and left at 3:50. I loved my experience and I would recommend this salon to anyone looking for a place to go to! Read Less

Everyone is very friendly, the place is clean, they have a good selection of polish colors, and my pedicure turned out fine. The price is right, too -- I think it was $24 for a pedicure. They give you little bottles of water and they have a "buy 10 get one free" card which is a nice touch.The only drawback, and it's sort of a big one, is that the store is not very well ventilated at all. I could taste the acetone/nail salon smell for at least an hour after I left and it was a bit unpleasant to breathe. I sort of wanted my pedicure to move faster just to get out of there into fresh air. I know nail salons smell and that's part of the deal but this seems excessive. All told, I'll be back but I might wait until it's cool enough out for them to at least have the door open. Read Less

I came in for a fill today. The women there were nice and all but my nails came out awful. In the process of filing them with the drill they cut me three times, it was very painful. The thickness is all off, some are very thick and some are very thin. Same for the width, at the base the acrylic is very wide, which looks silly with my stiletto tip. I think she just gave up trying to shape the part of the nail by the cuticle so I have acrylic in the bed of my nail. It was $20, the place that I usually go to in Cambridge is $16 and they do a much better job. I won't be coming back, better just to stick with the person who I know won't cut my cuticles and does a great job. Read Less

My 3 day old gel manicure I got has started to peel off in large chunks, which is what's finally driven me to write a review. The manicure experience was so rough I have cuts in multiple places, and one of my cuticles looks like it's becoming infected.Also, she cut my nails so short, for no reason. They were all the same length, nicely cared for and just needed a trim. Yeesh now I have short stubby nails with peeling polish. Onto the pedicure - while the polish isn't peeling and looks nice, the experience itself was kind of miserable. The water was cold, when I asked for warmer water I was ignored. My sister and I were ordered around by crabby manicurists and the whole thing was a bummer.$70 we each paid for gel manicure and pedicure, and we left feeling stressed out. It's rare that my sister and I get to spend time together - is it that hard to be pleasant? In retrospect I wish we'd bought $140 in cookies. That would have been a much nicer experience. Read Less

Today, I came to Nails Connection, I met the boss, she was very friendly with me. She also provide me with good service. This nail salon was the one of the cleanest nail salon I ever been in. The stuff they use is very good for my skin and for my nails. The best person that work there is Tina. I like it when she do my nails because she take her time to do it. I go here more than I go anywhere else.  That said, it has it's ups and downs.First, it IS OPEN ON SUNDAY.  Some internet source said it was closed and it is in fact open.  Which brings me to a con:  they don't answer their phone or have hours on a recorded message.Pros:- They do a pretty good manicure.- The place is clean.- The people are friendly.- It's $12 for a manicure.- I like that it appears to be female owned and managed.  There are a few salons nearby where it seems like a domineering man runs the place and I don't like the vibe.Cons:- The woman with short hair (wish I knew her name) is aggressive and has cut my cuticles on multiple occasions.  Each time she has wiped the blood away with her finger!  To me, that's insane and frankly should probably be a deal breaker for me and this place.- It smells like chemicals about half the time.  I'm sure that's a function of whatever other processes they're doing but they could use a better ventilation system.
