I'm probably the least girly woman on the planet, so when I went to the salon over the weekend, it was the first time I'd ever gotten a pedicure, and the first time in 4 years I'd gotten a manicure. I was put in a massage chair right away, which was good, but since I didn't know exactly what to expect, I think that the woman doing my pedicure was annoyed that I didn't automatically switch legs when she tapped me.
I had thought I said I was there for a manicure AND a pedicure, and when the woman sat me at a manicure station to dry my toes, I thought she'd be back quickly, but she wasn't. After a good 20 minutes, she came back, confused, and then she seemed annoyed the entire time she did my manicure.
A few days later, my pedicure is holding up pretty well, but my manicure barely lasted a day. Granted, I wasn't being very careful, but two days later, the paint was chipped enough that I had to take it off.
I'm not sure if I'll go back or not, or find a new salon, but I doubt that any other salons in the area are that much better. Read Less
