I am hating that my 300th is going to be negative, but some things cannot go left unsaid! The ire I felt after getting my nails done here is wearing off. Must review before it is too late. So, try as I may, no one in the area wanted to take my money for a mani/pedi Saturday. The Healthworks Spa was booked, the fancy nail place on the walk home from the Spa was booked, and I was in dire need for some care for my rough feet and increasingly annoying ingrown nail.Alas, the miraculous Michelle of Wet Paint was now a 20 minute drive away. I love her, but I think getting on the Pike to get my nails done is excessive, even for me. So off to the local place near my new digs. I try to avoid the $35 mani/pedi places after having some bad experiences and being completely and utterly spoiled by Michelle, but I thought I would give it a try. Never again. I waited around at the front desk for a while before someone started yelling at me from the back while she was doing someone else's feet. I yelled back. "Pick your color!" she screeched. Ugh.I climbed into the chair and started soaking away. The lady doing my nails was so rough - no smile, no nothing. No asking me if I had anything in particular in mind. She BARELY exfoliated, she didn't even touch the problem toes, even after I asked, and went through the motions while chatting with her friend who was DOING MY MANICURE AT THE SAME TIME.As the pedicurist was shaking me around and moving my feet, another girl (who was really sweet) was cutting my nails, doing my cuticles, etc. I think she would have done a fine job if she were sitting, but since there was so much movement, it was not going well. So, as I watched the pedicurist throw some polish onto my still dry and cracked feet, I was dreading the other girl would do the same as she balanced all her tools, solutions and water bath on the edge of my seat and held my hand in hers as she painted my nails.Oh - on a side note, there is NOTHING as disturbing as looking into the cleaning solution that all the instruments are in and seeing a snow storm of dead skin and nails tumble around every time she puts a utensil back in. Change the solution please! She did end up doing an ok job on my hands. I REALLY missed Michelle's paint brush and polish remover while she was scraping away polish spillage with her nails, though. Overall, rough and incomplete service, unmaintained cleaning supplies and an unwelcoming atmosphere. Don't go. Just don't. Read Less
