I just moved up to Boston and was asking around for the best nail place cause I was spoiled in Florida...this place by far met my expectations! I had made an appointment and they took me right at my time even though the place was packed they got me started. They were able to multitask very well and made sure everyone was happy. I do the powder polish and am always so nervous to try new people and seeing how quickly she was able to do my nails I was scared to look. BUT when I did they looked amazing and I loved them!! I was on a time crunch and she was able to not only fit with my time but also make my nails gorgeous for my night on town. I will definitely be back and referring them to everyone. Thank you!!

When I moved to Allston this year I was on the hunt for a good nail salon I can call home. I visited a few other salons in the area but they were overly priced and the work wasn't great.
I came to Awesome Nails without high expectations and I was so happy! Now I try to come in every few weeks for my gel mani and pedi and I recommend this place to ppl in my area all the time! Kim does my nails and Vincent is soooo nice and accommodating. The staff make you feel so good and really take care of you! It's the most affordable salon I could find in the Allston Brookline Brighton area.

Sad we didn't have a good experience after reading other reviews.
I told the nail tech 4 times the water was cold. She fixed it for about 1 minute.
The chair I sat in kept turning off.

Sad we didn't have a good experience after reading other reviews.
I told the nail tech 4 times the water was cold. She fixed it for about 1 minute.
The chair I sat in kept turning off.
The leg massage was minimal.
My daughter was allowed to get a pedicure but the nail tech added designs to her toes and then took her over to the manicure station and did manicure with design as well. I thought she took her to get her toes dry. Either way, she should have asked me and not the 5 year old if she was planning on charging for all those things.
I overheard two other ladies saying how rushed they felt during the manicure and that they were not happy with the paint job.
This was a Saturday after 3pm.

I was going to try the new MiniLux in Coolidge corner but out of some nostalgia I decided to come back to this place, man am I glad I did! It was always good but they have stepped up their game. I got the best leg massage I have ever had with a pedicure: exfoliating scrub, hot stones, lotion, hot towel! Bliss! It's not my neighborhood anymore but I've decided that from now on it's worth the trip.

I will not go any where else for my nails!! Laura is brilliant. Always comes up with good designs and my nails never break or fall off. The shop has a lovely atmosphere and all the girls are welcoming...

My friend and I visited this salon for the first time in the hopes of having a relaxing pedicure. What we experienced was more like a 10 minute nail ""touch up."" We both had our toenails trimmed and painted and then were out the door in roughly 12 minutes. We were not alone either, two other women who walked in at the same time that we did and were also ushered out the door after a quick paint. There was no leg massage or foot scrub to speak of. What a joke - this place is definitely not ""awesome."" I'd recommend Nail Stylus down the street - at least they make an effort to earn their $20 and tip.

I've gone there a few times for waxing and (Stacy) always does a very professional and well done job. She doesnt rush and the price is great compared to overpriced salons that leave wax on your legs.

I have been going to this place eversince it opened a few years ago. It was very pleasant in the beginning. Over the years, especially in the past couple of months it has changes dramatially to the worst. The personell is rude, not-caring and clumsy. Their equipment is bad and they don't always sanitize it. However, about a month ago I had an eye opener and will never again set my foot in that salon. As before, I wanted to get my eye brows waxed and I did - they burn me and I had to go to a dermatologist. You can't see a trace now, but can you imagine the ambarassemnht I had to endure for a few days?!

I just moved up to Boston and was asking around for the best nail place cause I was spoiled in Florida...this place by far met my expectations! I had made an appointment and they took me right at my time even though the place was packed they got me started. They were able to multitask very well and made sure everyone was happy. When I moved to Allston this year I was on the hunt for a good nail salon I can call home. I visited a few other salons in the area but they were overly priced and the work wasn't great.
