Usually a good experience, but today was very poor. When it is very busy, the experience is not relaxing and comfortable. They are all in a rush to get people in and out. I'm not sure why my experience was so awful, but my nails were ruined by Tony so badly that I had to go elsewhere and get a full new set even though I had just gotten one 2 fills prior. My skin was cut multiple times by trying to tweeze the excess polish off of my skin and from nicking me while shaping my nails. Horrible experience and customer service! Great little place. Fair prices- $50 for pedicure and gel manicure. I think my technician's name was Kelly. She was very nice and did a great job- actually took the time and care to make sure it looked good. I did take 1 star away because they didn't offer me any drying for my pedicure. She sprayed and wrapped them before I left since I had to put my boots on, but that didn't do much. When I got home the polish was all smudged. They should invest in toenail dryers under the manicure stations. Read Less

so I asked for a pedicure and refill and the girl Jenny starts my pedicure. she spent the whole time talking to the tech next to her not attending to me the client. Then I had a chipped nail on my big toe she began painting over it until I said either cut it or place glue to keep it together. now it's time to get my nails refilled at which time there is an obvious discussion about who would do it. so the guy Tony tells me to sit at his chair... but wait a client walks in who he knows by name a proceeds to tell me to get up and go to another chair. enough is enough obviously my black money means nothing in this Asian serving only White Salon. I have been to several nail salons where this is a normal practice or even behavior. It is unacceptable to say the least. I will never go there again. this lady had no appt dispute him saying she did to justify her bad behavior. if she had a standing appt then don't take other clients... it's ridiculous. Read Less

Great service! I've come 4 times and waited to write a review until I got more experience. The pedis are relaxing and they really take care of your callouses and cuticles. The hot stone massage is a highlight of the pedi. Ouyen is a great nail tech - my toes looks awesome thanks to her.Kim did my gel mani and she's super nice. My gel mani form here the first time around lasted 2.5 weeks! They take their time here to clean all the edges and make sure the shellac is smooth. Overall a gel mani and regular pedi are $25 each. Firstly, I love a great pedicure and sometimes even manicure - who doesn't like getting cleaned up and feeling clean and fresh.   However, from the instant of opening the door, I had never been slammed so hard with poisonous fumes and chemicals - as this place! Seriously!Most pedicure places have an odor, some do a better job than others... this place apparently doesn't care if all of their employees end up with cancer or their customers.Do a quick google search and see for yourself how these fumes do cause cancer! I've been to at least 15 different pedicure businesses and nothing has been nearly as bad.When doing my research, I noticed that these places do not have any standards or codes to live up to as far as air purity, etc. they could literally have 100x the amount of poisonous chemicals in the air, and they, nor you as a customer, nor the workers would ever have a clue! It's not regulated! The second straw that broke the camels back was that they don't use plastic bags or clean their foot tray well. All the up-to-date nail shops that I've been to are using plastic bags to make sure that each customer has a clean, new, and fresh experience. Not this place - be ready to catch someone else's foot fungus - Ive made that mistake before and never again.I suggest that this place invests into proper ventilation, starts using safer ingredients, and starts using plastic throw away liners.Until all of that happens, you can't pay me enough money to go there! I thought I had found a new nail place I was wrong. I've been here 4 or 5 times and each time it gets worse. I hate when the nail tech hovers over you while you pick a color. The last time I came it was on a Saturday. I got the second worst manicure of my life. She painted all over myFingers and made my cuticles bleed. Clean, friendly and do a great job. I went in for a pedicure and gel mani before vacation. They always offer you a drink and are honest about your wait time! I had my pedicure with a great massage and then I got a call that I needed to be home for my kids in 20 minutes. I asked to switch the gel manicure to a polish change. my go-to salon! i've been coming to Zen Nails for at least 2/3 years now. Tony usually does my nails. i've had my nails done by one other person, i don't remember her name but i believe she's one of the few that speaks fluent english. I love them both. from the first time i walked through those doors, i've never had a bad experience. i rarely call for an appointment, usually i just walk in and see if they can take me, which they always can. the moment you walk through the doors, you're immediately greeted and offered something to drink. there's a wide selection of colors and i'm always able to find the color i want. they have this policy that if you don't like the color, or you get a chip in your nail, or if it breaks, you can come back in and get it fixed, free of charge. i usually never do things like that but the color i had gotten the other day was a little too red for me. i went home and tried it out for a day but couldn't get over how red it was, i wanted a burgundy purple color. i stopped in and sure enough they were able to take me and change the color for me, free of charge, and i definitely left satisfied. over the years i've also turned my sister into a client of zen nails and it's the only nail salon we go to now! Absolutely amazing service! They greet you with a bottle of water and kind words. They have an awesome color selection too! The only slight set back is that they don't do designs or any fancy thing like that. So if you're into that, then maybe this isn't the place for you. Read Less

I was a regular here up until a few months ago. My 9 year old daughter had a manicure done in the station behind me as I was having a gel manicure. I heard her crying and rushed over to her to find they had cut more than one cuticle as well as the skin around them too low causing her to bleed. They were more like nicks in the skin. We could not get the bleeding to stop for a very long time. I have been told by other salon owners that nail techs are NOT allowed to trim a child's cuticles. Needless to say, we have not been back since. The nail tech was extremely apologetic but given the situation, my child was very shaken from the experience. We now go to a new place. AMAZING. From start to finish everything was Amazing. I never stray away from my regular salon due to past experiences, but I was visiting the wrea for a few days and thought what the heck! Soooo happy I did! They play some soft old school 90-s R&B  which is awesome and relaxing. KIM did my shellac mani and lip wax.  She was Really nice & super cool,  & paid attention to detail - They came out PERFFF.  A different woman (believe her name was Kelly ) did my pedi. She was also Fantastic..Nice massage with hot rocks were great!A younger woman (Regular) came in with her baby (he slept like an angel for 90 % of the time) Got a little fussy - lil guy was probably hungry! Lol, A couple of the staff soothed & rocked him while his momma was finishing up. Thought that was really cool & Sweet! All around patient and wonderdul people working here. Unbelievable nail salon!! If I could give a 1000 stars I would! Toni the owner is outstanding. Unlike all other nail salons, what you want is what goes here at no extra charge! For example, if you get a refill, but want your cuticles done, at any other nail salon, you would have to pay for this extra service. Not at Zen Nails. They only charge you for the refill, but do your cuticles as well to YOUR liking! They are completely service oriented, and everything in this place is about YOU. What YOU want, how YOU feel, the way YOU want it done. They are not done until you are completely satisfied. If you are unhappy here, all you have to do is TALK! They will get it right immediately to your liking! If you keep it to yourself, most likely you will have a bad experience, not only here, but anywhere you might go. I walked in for a pedicure and noticed every chair was taken. I was told to pick a color and that a chair was opening up (within 5 mins of arriving, I was sitting in a salon chair getting a pedicure). I also liked that I wasn't hassled into being asked about getting a manicure. Although I didn't take the complimentary bottled water, I thought it was a nice gesture. being served free drinks while being pampered?! This should happen more often :-)While in the chair, the water was very hot. The stone was equally or even more hot, but the towel for my legs was lukewarm. The tech noticed something in the water and took it out and immediately discarded (could have been the green scrub gel that was applied to my legs, I hope?! EEK). Anyhow, for a packed salon, the tech wasn't rushing and taking her time until I told her I wasn't getting a manicure. I love that they are playing 90s pop and r&b!!! Read Less
