They are terribly rude, they lie about their prices, they yell at customers, take hours and hours to do nails which results in a poor job and hire workers who have no idea what they are doing! (Read complete review for all details) I was there for over three hours for a manicure/pedicure. They hire people who have no idea what they are doing and I am sure not certified to do nails. They cut my foot and the guests next to me. I was actually bleeding. All guests in the salon at that time were complaining by the lack of knowledge of the workers, the time it was taking them to complete their nails and how poor their nails came out. Our nails were filed crooked and the polish looked like a 5 year old did it. After all of that I went up to pay at the counter. I was still going to give a tip despite the terrible service and just not come back again but then I was yelled at! I went to give the price of $33.00 dollars which is their price for a manicure pedicure and the lady says no, its $38.00. I said that's not your price its on the board right there and she says "you have callous. we spend hours removing it". Meanwhile they didnt remove any callous they spent hours because the workers had no clue what they were doing and cut my foot to the point of me bleeding, which i showed this women and she yelled at me! You pay $38.00! So I said no I won't and I am not coming back and gave her enough money for her correct price and walked out. What a terrible experience! These people are disgusting. How they handle their customers is outrageous and they don't even care if you sit there for over three hours for poorly done services or if they injure your feet! There are plenty of other salons in Braintree. Do not go here. These people need to know what they are doing and how wrong it is to treat their customers like this. We are a small town and the word needs to spread. I also left this same review on other websites. Plus I am concerned about safety if they hire unexperienced workers who don't know what they are doing and cut your feet. And by the way I know these workers were unexperienced because they commented how they were new. I also went to the foot doctor to have my cut checked out to make sure an infection didn't start. Yes, the place is clean, but don't be fooled. Many of their manicures lack experience. Some of them don't know how to polish (bubbles, waves) or remove cuticle well. I had my toenails bleed by two different pedicures that tried to hide it with their fingers, and by asking me to quickly place my foot back into the water; one of these incidents happened right before I went to the beach on vacation; while there, I had to treat my infected toe! I will not go to any other nail salon, Jenn is the absolute best. The guys and girls are all great at what they do, I get a full set with gel and pedicures and have never been disappointed throughout years of coming here, no other salons on the South Shore compare to Nails & Spa.
