This little hide away is the best! I came in for a 90 minute massage and halfway into my session I asked if Lily was available the next day. Lily is so amazing in the way she finds all of the areas that need attention. I wish I lived closer to her, not across the country. The next appointment was even better. Whenever I'm in town from LA, this is my go-to place for gel manicures. My favorite lady is Loan. She is fantastic at what she does and her energy is very calming. The location is subterranean and relaxing. Also, the manager - Winnie - is always so charming and helpful. And they have my very favorite gel color: Hypnotic Dreams.I'm going try their pedicure next. I was able to book a 45-minute lunchtime massage the morning of. Lily did an amazing job; I asked for deep tissue massage and she absolutely delivered. She found knots I didn't even know I had, and the hot towels were a wonderful way to end the massage. The room was clean and calming and I think I've found a regular massage spot for the future! Very confused why this place has such good reviews. I made an appointment here for a gel pedi while my fav manicurist was traveling for a couple months and sadly, this isn't a viable back up. I arrived and was asked to pay up front. Why? I have never rendered services. They told me they would address any issues if needed--uh huh, sure. This is totally a situation when I pay cash. Apparently no acrylics but a similar smell that made it hard to sit through a service. (Check out comment below for how not to run your business).I was sat in a small little room where 3 other people were getting pedicure treatments and they put apple tea in the water to soak. (Woman working said it was Apple) Gross, apple is for a pretween or a child who shops at bath and body works. Maybe lavender, mint, eucalyptus? I scheduled an appointment for a mani/pedi and a chair massage.Overall, I'm not disappointed, but I look for a little more in my pedicures. For me it's less about the polishing and more about the buffing, filing and other primping included with most pedicures. The manicure was standard, nothing special, but the quality was decent and I wasn't disappointed with the service.  In terms of the nail services I'd give them a 3/5, just ok.On to the massage. I booked a 30 min chair massage, and it was great. It made me wish I splurged for a longer full-body massage. I've been to many massage therapists before, and I tell them my problem areas and they seem to treat them as they do everything else, with just not enough pressure.NOT HERE! The therapist I had got working quickly and found all my knots in my shoulders and started to work her magic touch to loosen me up. As I chronic pain sufferer, this is what I look for in a massage- focused and intense (and this was her at only her "medium" pressure level). I suffer from fibromyalgia and I've had pain issues my whole life stemming from spinal surgery when I was a teenager. It is incredibly difficult to trust someone to give me relief with massage therapy. I've only trusted my friend who is experienced with people with chronic pain. I've been unable to get a massage in quite sometime so when I found Relaxsation on Google and saw the wonderful reviews I decided to give it a go.I was not disappointed. 60 minutes with Vivian and my body feels brand new. She used her own technique and focused on my upper body where it was most tense from always favoring certain muscles due to being in pain all the time. She focused on pressure points, light stretching, and making sure my muscles were loosened by the end of my appointment. Vivian is gifted. She really is. I highly recommend her if you are like me and have extremely sensitive pain issues. There were times I felt pain from the pressure but because of how communicative she was I knew she was doing the right thing. I have very little pain today. I can't even believe it. This place is incredible!! One of the BEST massages I have ever had. I did the 60 minute Thai massage...next time I am doing 90minutes. The entire staff was so nice and made me feel so comfortable as soon as I walked in. Vivian is incredibly gifted when it comes to her hands and massage therapy. I've been a regular client at RelaxSation ever since I started working Downtown, and even though I no longer work in the area, I still have RelaxSation as my go-to nail salon. Customer service is the best, I wouldn't have it any other way. The ladies at RelaxSation are such sweethearts, and are always hospitable and friendly. The manager, Winnie is great, she always remembers me and goes above and beyond to meet clients' needs. Whenever I visit, I always get either Janice or Helen to do my gel mani/regular pedi, and they, too, are great. In the past, the nail salons I've been to cared more about the money/tips instead of the clients, but at RelaxSation it's different. I can't give a review on the massage or waxing services, since I only go for the nails, but every time I've visited I've always seen people come and go for massages, and from the looks of it, they do look pleased. They have a great variety of nail colors and brands, it's always so difficult to choose. The first time I went I only got a regular for my mani, but Winnie convinced me to try gel and ever since then I did not go back to regular. The pedi feels so good, the last time I visited Helen massaged my feet and my feet have never felt more refreshed and relaxed. One of their services is a Spa Pedicure, where you can get your feet massaged for 15 minutes, and it costs $13 extra. I've always made appointments, although they're walk-in friendly. However, I suggest booking an appointment in advance, since they do get busy, especially being located in a busy area. They're very flexible with times, too. I've only had one occurrence when I had to change my appointment, but it was no problem. Despite having an appointment, the longest I've had to wait was probably only 5 minutes, which is not bad at all. Most of the times, though, they're prepared as soon as I walk in. I just moved from D.C. about two months ago. The first three places I visited in east Boston were terrible. Then I was recommended to visit RelaxSation, hoping I would finally find a good place. Four times I've come to RelaxSation and have seen different technicians. Linda, ivy and Ping are great! They take their time to make sure it looks perfect and how you like it. The store manager, Winnie, is great! She quickly assesses request via Yelp and is very accommodating. Overall, the staff is very professional and courteous. I usually get gel mani/pedi. First impression: tucked away in kinda a sketchy small street, and my gps went haywire (trying to convince me it wasn't there lul). Once you go downstairs it gets zen real fast from the lighting to the decorations. The lady who greeted me was super nice (they take payment first not after just fyi) maybe cuz I was Chinese too idk...Pedicure/callus removal ($32 total): I picked this place in part because they had callus removal (5$) listed. My feet were like beyond dead, to the point I literally didn't know wat to do with them. They start u off with this tea foot bath...TEA..like what?! LOL that's when you know this salon is run by traditional Chinese folks (brought out in a plastic wash basin thing covered with plastic #tbtchildhood). For the callus removal portion they brought out what I thought was a cheese grater at first (not the standard callus removal tool...but at this point that's  to be expected right? Whatever works) everything else was pretty typical...though gotta hand it to my lady for being handy with those cuticle clippers.Last note: leaving this at a 4 star only because I think some of the equipment could use an upgrade and the pedicure room was not as relaxing as it could be (towels were kinda rough, and chairs could need a wipe down) + a slight nick from the cuticle clipper towards the end but if it mean getting rid of the callus build up so be it lolTLDR; def worth a visit if ur looking to pay for the service and not the setting Read Less

UPDATED: The very fact that you have to come back and reply to bad reviews indicates that there are bad reviews on your pages. If you propose your service to be as professional as you advertise, then you would not have to vindicate yourself. Anyone proposing to visit your establishment should read your bad reviews first. We did not return 10 days after our visit, it was 7 as we had a massive amount of events to do due to a wedding that we attended. Your therapist gave out so much about my cuticles, that even the girl next to me raised her eyebrows. It doesn't matter whether it was my first time or not, the therapist should not have given out to me. I'm on my holidays and shouldn't need to come back to the place where I got my nails done just because they botched up mine. Fair to say I will not be returning. Very disappointing, the establishment is not good, the front door sticks, the stairs not clean, dust everywhere, cramped areas, toilets , equipment failed, nails result was not good, nails were not the same length or shape, little bubbles left on nails, varnish not uniform and started peeling the next day. Cannot recommend this at all. Therapists uniforms were stained and instructions regarding an injured toe were not adhered to. And really we would prefer to have given NO star. No refund given they said we could have a redo but that was not an option as far as we were concerned due to our previous experience in the place. Read Less

I have been exercised 3 to 5 times every week for years. My knee and back pain have been bothering me since last couple years. I have been trying many massage places and none has given me satisfactory result. I have heard good comments from people in my club on this massager Vivian in RelaxSation. I decided to give her a try. OMG. They are right. She pinpointed where my problems are and worked from a soft to deep tissue massage. The whole hour was so enjoyable that it happened too fast. I went here today for a gel mani, pedicure and eyebrow wax.  It was my first time here.  I had a hair appointment nearby and researched nail salons in the area. This one had good reviews and good prices so I just walked in.  I didn't even have to wait and I didn't have an appointment.Anyways, I never write reviews but I had to let other people know how awesome this place is.  The prices are much cheaper than anywhere else I have been in Boston..AND they do a better job here than anywhere else I have been!Lisa was awesome! I had a great experience here. I am not great at self care and never get my nails done, but I thought I would treat myself. They are super fast, which is right up my ally. The owner (I believe) was so friendly and came over to explain about the products they use and just general small talk. There is a little bit of hustle and bustle in this place, as the rooms are small and there are a lot of customers (because its so great!). I was more than happy with my gel manicure and pedicure. My nails were impeccable for two whole weeks which is never the case with me. Only on day 13ish did i get a little lip on the cuticle and it all went downhill from there because I can't stop picking. I had spent that time gardening, ripping out weeds and bushes, excerising and all in all I really did a number on my nails during this time.I already booked another appointment with them because my nails have grown so much with the gel and I am afraid I will start to bite them again without it. The atmosphere was so relaxing and felt like a mini resort the minute I walked in.Since I didn't have any go-to person, I was a bit nervous when Vivian introduced herself as a new masseuse. I had just flown into Boston after about 10 days in Iceland and was looking for a way to unwind after all the driving and flying. zRandomly came across this place after doing a quick search on Google. Saw they had good ratings so I reached out.I sent an email around 5pm and they called within 30 minutes to confirm. My friend and I wanted different things. I wanted a pedicure and a Swedish massage. She wanted a pedicure, manicure, and a deep tissue. They said no problem and scheduled us for the next day at 2pm. It came time for us to head that way and my friend got caught up in some work stuff so we asked if we could push it to later. The said no problem and were super accommodating! They pushed it to 4:15pm. Cannot even put into words how friendly they are!4:15 rolls around and I'm the only one who shows up. My friend couldn't make it in time. I told them I was just going to get the massage. They said "No problem!" As they were setting up my room, my friend messages me and said, "I just finished work, could I show up?" I laugh and ask the staff. They say "No problem! Tell her to come on." (Our hotel was a 5-minute walk from there). So I go back for my massage which was HEAVENLY! Anne was so sweet and so great! She was so attentive and just great at what she does. My friend had Sophia and got the deep tissue. She has been massaged a lot and my friend said this was her best one! We both got the hour long massages, but wish we would have gotten the 2-hour one.I finished a few minutes before my friend and they asked if we still wanted to do a pedicure. I said are you sure and they said "No problem!" So, when we both finished our massages we got pedicures as well. They said they had some cancellations due to some events happening around the city. Which I'm sure made it easier for them to be so flexible. However, they went above and beyond for us!! I was in a hurry, but really needed a pedicure and massage after 5 days of heavy travel and walking. Helen did an amazing job on my toes and have me a wonderful 15-min foot massage. She was very fast, but thorough with the pedicure. She was also very thoughtful, turning off the lights so I could relax. Lily have me an incredible chair massage. In from out of town so I was searching for a nail salon on Yelp by my friends office. Came across RelaxStation and saw all the great review. I booked an appointment through Yelp with the manager and they were very quick to respond and very accommodating. When I went in they greeted me right away and had everything set up. You do have to pay ahead of time. Didn't bother me. Had to wait a few minutes for the girls to finish up that were before me but I wasn't in a rush so that was fine and they were very attentive making sure I was fine with the wait. The woman doing my nails (I forgot her name) was very nice and quick! I got shellac done. She asked me exactly what I was looking for and making sure through out the service that it was what I wanted and that I liked it. The nails were excellently done and I loved them! You cannot leave a tip on a card because you pay before the service but they take cash and they also have an ATM inside but what I liked is they let me Venmo the tip! I had no cash on me and I was not going to spend the $2.50 to use their ATM... but using Venmo was so easy! Two weeks later my nails still look perfect! There are normal wear and tear but I have no been easy on them and there is no sign of chipping on the tips! I couldn't recommend them more! Totally worth the already reasonable prices! Read Less

The best experience I have had in a while. I have been on a quest to find a place near south station to go to after work. I found a couple of misses but I decided to give it one last chance.
