Second time I come here and absolutely love it. I got a regular pedicure (massage chairs are awesome compared to other places) and gel manicured which lasted for a month with no chipping. First the guy doing my feet basically told me they don't do the regular pedicure and rather do the spa one. I spent 55 dollars on a spa pedicure that ended up ruined.  Hours later when I thought my feet were dry put my shoes on and found out later on my big toes polish was caked on so they smudged.  So my big toes were ruined ! HANDS DOWN my new favorite salon. I always have a hard time finding a place that can get my acrlyics done without me having something to complain about, but this place is just that. The best part is they have so many different color/design selections that a lot of other places either don't know or hesitate to promote because they haven't mastered it. But here, they have no problem showing the different options and offering different cute designs. I started seeing Louis here and I will definitely be back in the future!P.S. I am a regular customer at a nail salon in Waltham that I LOVE. Unfortunately, they are closed on Mondays so I decided to try out Paris Nails since it had been recommended to me by a few former coworkers. I arrived there at around 10am on a Monday morning and it wasn't very busy. I let them know I wanted the SNS powder manicure and was pointed to the shelves of regular and gel polish. I was confused and asked an employee where the powder colors were. She told me to hold on. Another male employee pointed to a nail station and told me to sit down and wait. I sat down for a moment but then noticed the shelves of powder colors across the salon so I got up to go take a look at my options. In doing so, the same male employee told me to sit down and wait. I was a little confused as to why I'm not allowed to look at the colors that I'm about to pay to have them apply to my nails? After sitting down for about ten minutes and being ignored, the aforementioned delightful man comes over to ask me what I want. I said that I'd like to see their pink and white colors for a French manicure. I quickly chose two colors, and he informed me that he couldn't find the pink. He brought over a different pink which looked too bright to me, so I asked to see it on the sample nail. He told me they didn't have a sample of it but it's "what everyone gets for a pink and white manicure." Not wanting to argue about it, I decided it would be fine. He started to take off my existing gel manicure by aggressively filing the tops of it which was very uncomfortable and almost painful. Once the gel was off he started to prep my nails for the dip. He didn't trim my cuticles or clean up my nails in any way. I had asked him to apply a tip to one of my nails that had broken very short. I asked him to just make sure it wasn't too long and he cut me off saying "yeah yeah yeah I know I know don't worry." Throughout the whole dipping process he was sighing and rolling his eyes and repeatedly telling me to "relax" even though my fingers were as limp as they could possibly be. He told me to "stop trying to look at how I'm doing it." It seemed as if HE was the one struggling to apply the product but accusing me of being difficult. Between each step he would stop and spend at least two minutes texting on his phone while I sat there. There was no towel or anything under my hands during the manicure so there are little specks of lint and red dust from my old manicure cured inside my new one. Overall this was an entirely strange, subpar experience. Yes, I care about how my nails look but I care much more about the way I'm treated. And when I'm PAYING and TIPPING for a service, I would expect even a step up from basic respect and kindness. The attention to detail and small "pampering perks" that my usual salon offers are the reasons I continue to go back. This man rushed through my manicure, was aggressive, and uncaring. A service that is considered a "spa treatment" definitely shouldn't be painful. He certainly did not care whether I was satisfied with his work or whether I would ever return to this salon. So is my manicure terrible? No. Is it what I had in mind walking in? No. Would I come here again or recommend it to a friend? Definitely not. Save your money and your time for a place that will treat you like a valued customer, listen to what you want before they begin, and give you the effort and expertise that produces a quality nail job. Went on a Saturday afternoon with my friend. The place was understaffed, as there are only two people working. They had us pick colors and the lady would go back and forth between my friend and I. So I've been to the sister store on Washington/Market Street and loved the service there. Granted my nails needed help as they were dying. Quite almost literally...Came to this one and decided to try it out since I had a great experience at their sister store. First visit was three weeks ago and Amy took care of me. Good manicure! Went back yesterday and experience was different than the other one. It was rushed and my nail tech went to another client with no explanation at all. None. She seemed irritated for some reason. Another tech, Alan, took care of my nails. The manicure came out okay, I felt rushed and some of my nails weren't filed. When I asked about two of my nails he's like it's fine don't worry. Sure...Here's a tip: keep an appointment log so your appointments are completed in an orderly, timely fashion. This salon is so friendly and relaxed and the staff are so knowledgeable. My stylist Hayley always takes the time to listen to what I want and talks me through my options realistically as to what can be achieved her expertise and knowledge of colouring hair in particular is 100% spot on, the results are always just as she has explained and I am never disappointed! Family and friends are always complimentary about my hair after an appointment with Hayley so much so that my sis...ter has now also become a client. As a person she is lovely, she has a knack of putting you at ease, and is chatty and friendly as a hairdresser she is at the cutting edge and I can not recommend her highly enough!! My first time visiting this salon wasn't necessarily the most pleasant one. when I first walked in I didn't feel there was much acknowledgement of me walking in, all the girls seemed to be in mid conversation but to be honest I wasn't really that phased by that and just sat down and waited to be called. I had explained on the phone that I had dark hair and I wanted to go blonde, the lady I spoke did kindly explain to me prior to me coming in that she would need to see my hai...r before accessing what she could do. My first impressions of the lady that did my hair was that her attitude was quite slap dash and there was not much compassion she explained that she doesn't know what previous colours I've had on my hair so she is unsure how it will turn out, that is fairenough Once she put the colour on my hair and washed it off my hair was the same colour and it just seemed like it has light brown highlights in! I brought my extensions in as guide that are like a honey blonde and she said to me she will do it so it blends even if it's not the exact colour, it hasn't lifted one bit I don't see why she put a toner on it as it was still brown even though she said she used the strongest bleach. Well I have been blonde before and my hair had plenty more colours on and it's lifted, but it didn't lift at all this occasion. I just wasn't happy with my overall experience. If you combined a mello disco outlet with a spacious nail salons, you would get Paris! The walls have big screen TVs streaming the latest music video or game or news. The music is hip and pop'ish and the lighting is a combination or chandeliers and rainbow light fixtures that  switched between colors slowly.The salon experts...Your mix of the same hip atmosphere. Including the host who checks you in (with the awesome Gucci shoes) The girls are friendly and stylish and the men are just the same. Pros about the place:-Really beautiful relaxing environment-lots of polish colors-the ladies greet you nicely as you walk in-very spacious-very clean and they used sterile tools-it doesn't smell heavily of nail polish-there are lotions, cuticle oil, and finishing sprays in the area where you dry your nailsCons specifically towards my manicurist:-he didn't ask what shape/length I wanted my nails and had an attitude when I asked to trim and shape my nails a bit (I now have a mix of square and round nails )-had me pay ahead of time (it would've been okay if it was a norm at this store but I have never had that happen to me before)-literally rushed and took less than 5 minutes painting my nails which resulted in lumpy nails and the second coat of polish wasn't even fully painted onI've been to this salon a few times and each time, the manicurist was okay but they got the job done nicely. I came here once while looking for a new nail place after moving to Brighton. The manicurist did a good job applying the polish, but something must have been wrong with the curing light under the table, as one of the two lights burned my hands while the other took quite a while to turn on at all. My nails also started peeling less than a week after getting the manicure, which was disappointing. The salon is beautiful inside, however, and does appear to be clean. I walked in to this place after being rejected from two smaller salons down the street. I was immediately blown away by the clean and open decor. I was afraid it was going to be out of my price range, but everything was very reasonable. The woman who met me at the front desk very honestly let me know what service I was looking for based off of my awkward description of what I wanted to look like.I was seated and served immediately with a full set of gels. The man who did my nails was meticulous! He did an amazing job. He also was very gentle yet effective while moving my hand around... which was something I didn't realize I was missing in the past at other salons.The only thing that wasn't absolutely perfect was that he missed my index finger and thumb on my left hand while going over everything with the top coat. But that's a simple mistake, and with something with as many steps as what I got, I can't blame him. I have the same gel top coat at home and just slapped it on. No big deal. This was my third time here. I don't typically come here because I don't live in Brighton, but my friend lives in the neighborhood and loves it here so I go with her sometimes. I wanted an acrylic fill and a pedicure. I was sat in a pedicure chair with no water in it and was sitting there for a while before someone came over & turned the water on. The guy I had was rushing through everything & was very abrupt with each step. Massage was EXTREMELY brief. Then we go over to do my nails. He kept pulling his phone out and making calls, all while he's continuing to rush. He was practically slapping my fingers with the nail file. When he was using the drill to smooth my nails he was going over the same spot to the point where I started bleeding. A few phone calls later I go to wash my hands and when I come back he's filing his nails with the file he used on me, then tells me to dry my nails as he continues to file his nails. During all of this, the man working next to us kept looking over at my nails then looking up at me, I'm sure he could tell what was going on. Once my nails were painted there was no massage with lotion or cuticle oil. My cuticles are flakey looking and my cuticle is cut. Absolutely fantastic. I live in Newton and have been searching for a place, for 5 months. Heard about this place, from a friend. I LOVE my nails they came out bette than ANY place I have EVER been to, in my LIFE. I been getting my nails done, since I was in the 5th grade and I'm now 26. The service was excellent and was seen as soon as I walked in, seeing how I had an appointment. But every other salon I have been to, still have you wait, even though you made an appointment, which I can't stand. but this place was on time, very friendly, very professional, very clean and sanitary, service is incredible, and the work is absolutely fantastic!! This place has a lot of potential - great layout, clean, nice equipment, etc. The manager seemed nice, but my lady was quite rude. I got a gel manicure and it does not take an intelligent person to know when you are being rushed. I asked her to put 3 coats on because I have had the color before and it is very light. Her response was 2 to 3 coats to which I responded no 3 - you will be able to see my nails under. It was not until 10 minutes later she said for you I will do 3. Tried to kind of laugh it off with her but you can tell she was not joking. She did the polish thin so it could actually use a 4th, but was not going to go there. She also kept leaning the nail polish bottle on my finger and getting it on my hand so I kept moving, which then she would yell at me that I kept moving lol. Like I said they have a lot of potential and talent at this place, but the customer service from their employees needs to step up. seriously. I would go to another salon with nicer people and less expensive equipment any day. So, I previously wrote a good review and have been coming here for awhile, I don't know what happen but the service seems to have gone down. It's almost like they don't really want return customers. So, I noticed after a while of coming here that they'd rush me. While it only sort of bugged me previously, I figured it doesn't matter, since they do a good job and that's what matters. But over the last three times I've gone, it's just gotten worse. Not only rushing, but also pulling at my cuticles with no oil or anything. They have many color choices and all the new styles in but seem not to know how to actually apply them properly. I got burned by the UV light under the table, they seemed unbothered by this, even laughing. I also noticed that over the last few times, my nails started to chip and peel right away. The saving grace of this place is Ben, he does a fantastic job. But other than that, meh. As someone who prefers to go to the same place each time and tips well, I'd rather go where my nails won't smell like burnt plastic and laughed at. Read Less

We love it.  We all see Elaine and/or Cindy.  They're a family owned business, very friendly and accommodating.  They have a stamp card system, for every 10 visits you get $10 off, which is easily done for me, I go every two weeks.  They have a wide selection of regular polish as well as gel.  They have VIP rooms where you and your friends can enjoy a pedicure together as well as a nail bar.  It's hip, upscale and very clean.  I highly recommend it!  I live in Billerica and travel out to Brighton because I can't have anyone else do my nails, that's how good they are! :) and not only myself, the whole family of women travel there. I just got home from getting a mani/pedi and I'm super happy with the results. I chose the Spa Pedicure which has a couple more steps than the standard pedicure. It was totally worth the extra cost ($25 for regular, $40 for spa;$12 for the mani) because they do a bunch of different scrubs and lotions and a nice long massage. My nails look great and my skin feels soft. I didn't catch my technician's name but she had a really cool tattoo of birds on her back and she was great! A lot of the other reviews said that they tend to rush but I was there at 5:30 (Monday) and didn't feel that way at all. The staff wasn't super chatty, which I like because I bring a book :) The decor is nice and everything looks clean. I went to Paris nails the other day by recommendation of a coworker. I got a regular pedicure and gel manicure. You can get the same service for way less or for the same price you can have a more relaxing experience else where. The pedicure experience was ok. They looked great when I left but chipped the day after. (I was not doing anything physical which would cause them to chip.)While getting the gel manicure multiple walk ins entered and as the gentleman running the desk told them a wait time he would talk to the girls working in a different language, but it was clear he was telling them to hurry up to take the walk ins because they all began rushing. My finger was cut in several spots which is not too bad because accidents happen but it was because she was rushing. I also got a gel manicure which she painted on very quickly and messy. Super thick coat in the center but does not cover the nail the whole way around. This place is pretty clean, well decorated, and it seems as though the staff would be great when given the time to dedicate to each client. Always wanted to try this place out because it's so pretty on the outside. Got a gift certificate and here I am! I made an appointment which was the easy part. The hard part is getting them to notice you when you come during busy hour. I came after work time which is 5ish and so everyone and their mom is there (literally)! Parking was tough, they have a lot but it was full so I had to park on the street. And it's a busy street. Even though I made an appointment, I still had to wait an additional 15 minutes.  This place is huge and has so many chairs but it was literally a full house. The lady who did my mani pedi was nice but apparently I chose nail polish that wasn't like regular nail polish but it was an extra $2 change on top of the service so I was like whatever. No I did not see any signs about that. I don't know I just felt like a small fish in a big pond and didn't really enjoy it. I just got back from the nail salon;I picked a color and they put it on.The staff was really sweet.Kim did my hands, not feet. There is so much color variety,so no more stress and anxiety!You should definitely get your nails done here;I promise you'll leave with beautiful nails and a cheer.  I just went for the first time earlier today and I will definitely be back to Paris Nails! The price is pretty reasonable ($12 for a manicure) and the staff is so attentive. My manicurist was very detail-oriented and gave a great hand massage! On top of that, she made great conversation.The actual place was really well-decorated and clean. They even had music videos playing in the background for constant entertainment. If you live in the Brighton area and your cuticles are looking rough, go to Paris Nails!
