UPDATE: I went back to get my nails fixed and had a wonderful experience. Very refreshing to find a salon that cares so much about clients :) The place is super clean and everyone is super friendly. I had a wonderful experience while I was there. I got a regular pedi and a gel mani. I typically get gel manicures so that they last me more than a week. However, I was disappointed when my nails started peeling off less than a week after getting the manicure. Very disappointing given that the price difference between gel and regular manicures is significant. Read Less

I started going here when they first opened and I would say their quality and service was better back then. The last several times I've gotten a gel manicure from here its chipped, cracked, or peeled off my nails after only a week if not less... not to mention when they file the gel off, some of the manicurists are not careful about damaging your cuticles or scraping your finger nail bed. First experience here with my sister and it was such a treat! I got a basic mani pedi, French style. But the girl who did them treated me like a queen. I am the ticklish person on the planet and pedi’s give me anxiety! She did great! She gave the best foot massage and spent almost 5 solid minutes on each foot! That part blew my mind. Especially since I only got the basic. She kept checking in to make sure I was comfortable and everything was exactly how I wanted. Kay does a great job. This is the only local salon i have found where they do gel liquid fill. Since I usually go every three or four weeks to get my nails done i would rather have the gel liquid fill.They are very responsive and if you want something done or don't like the way something is don't be afraid to tell them. I like my nails a certain way and each step of the process Kay made sure to ask me if they were how i liked. She took her time and was very patient.I did find it a bit strange that they did not cut back my cuticles the first time i went, so when i went back for my fill i simply asked them to trim up the area and they were more than happy to do so.Overall I will continue to come back for a fill. I am pretty particular when it comes to my nails. I discovered this place a few months back and will never go anywhere else! I frequent this salon every 2-3 weeks to change my shellac. Everyone is so friendly and amazing at what they do!! They give you bottled water, chocolates, and have a rewards program. I have also gotten dipping powder here and they do an excellent job! This is a nail and wax salon , it has fun decor as you walk in. Got greeted as soon as i walked in and was offered water. The girl who does wax was extremely slow. Took 60 minutes to wax hands , which is generally a 20 minute thing . While paying i let the owner know that i was not happy with the service as it was extremely slow, but she replied saying that they were trying not to burn me. Which was a wierd reply from her. I love coming here and love that it's within walking distance of my apt. They get you in pretty quickly, are realistic about wait times, and will still take their time and do a thorough job on your mani when there's a line of people behind you. I've been to most of the Allston nail places and this one's the best.  I like the massage chairs for pedicures, the staff (they understand English which cannot be said for everywhere - and this is important because at least one Allston spot has an employee who doesn't understand "you're hurting me") and the neat and tidy atmosphere.  They don't make you tip in cash though I try to if I have it.  It's a bit of a walk from Allston Village but the B line stops across the street (Warren Street stop). Finally, a great nail salons for the $ that my friend said she loved! I came in on a Friday morning around 11am and there were only two other people having their nails done. The space is spotless and clean!!! You get greeted and treated very nicely which I always appreciate with nail salons. There are soooo many amazing colors and gel colors!!! The gel colors are testing on fake nails and are strung on these plastic rings which was soooo helpful in deciding cause there was zero tangle (you know what I'm taking about...)! The women were so nice and polite. They were meticulous and took their time making sure my nails were perfect. They really cared about me liking my gel manicure. They also do half moon shaped which I tried for the first time and it was beautiful. They do parafin with gel manicures too. What stood out to me most was their hospitality and making sure they were gentle at my nails and cuticles, making sure I was comfortable and happy. Will be coming here from now on!!!! I LOVE this nail salon! I have been looking for a place that I could regularly go to and I had no luck until I went to geneva. This place is so clean and the ladies are so friendly. I found this place through a friend a couple of months ago and now I come here every 2 weeks. I will continue to come because of the cleanliness and impeccable service. They always have bottled water for you and the owner, Kay, is so sweet!My gel manicure lasts me the full two weeks sometimes even 3-4 weeks. I love the parafin wax that they end with. I've been a regular at Geneva for about 7 months now, and I won't go anywhere else. I love to go with girlfriends on weekends and then get brunch next door, it's the perfect girls day.  The team is so warm, friendly and genuine. Kay is always incredibly responsive when booking appointments; even at the last minute, I've never had a problem getting in.  Talk about listening to customers, I shared a link to a new OPI Gel Polish line, and upon my next visit to Geneva, they had purchased it. I love this place! Everyone is so friendly and they do an amazing job, especially the gel manicures! I have particularly oily nail beds, so gels usually don't last that long on me, but when I get them done here they stay on for at least 2 weeks! This is my 3rd visit to Geneva since January and they have consistently impressed me with their skill, warmth, and cleanliness.  When I come in as a walk-in, I'm always greeted courteously and immediately served. Their nail polish selection is unparalleled- gel, regular, and non toxic... it's amazing! :::Tools:::All of their equipment is clean and new, showcasing light up feet baths and massage chairs. The ladies here know their shit and get you in and out in a timely (non-rushed) manner.  The salon prides itself on high hygienic standard shown in advertisement and practice - I pay close attention to those details and every time they use a new sterilized package per customer.  :::Service:::I was handed a bottle of water as I took a seat and was doted on while simultaneously getting my mani & pedi.  First off, pedicure was soooo amazing, she made sure my toes were shaped and softened, including a 10 minute moisturized leg massage before color was added. Very friendly when I arrived and immediately offered me a bottle of water. The woman who did my gel manicure spent her time making sure my nails looked neat. I should have checked the price list prior because I wasn't expecting $33 for the gel manicure - I'm used to paying $25 so I was a little surprised. This nail place is brand new. I was skeptical about trying out a new place especially for a new location to the area. I decided to give it a try since they only had good reviews, thank goodness I did! I called to make sure I could arrive within in minutes they said yes. It wasn't like other places that says yes and then they make you wait. All the girls were very friendly and professional. For a salon that's only been here 7 months they are definitely heading in the right direction. I can see this place thriving. I got a acrylic set with gel color. First off I'm very upset I haven't come here sooner. The atmosphere is so clean feeling, everything looks super clean. The service is really great, they are willing to help you choose a get color to match your toes, and I didn't even ask, they just did it which was super nice. As for my acrylics with gel polish, did my nails how I've always wanted them. Short and natrual looking but still adds length and shape and the paraffin was just a cherry on top. After my pedicure my feet are so incredibly soft and nice feeling and they did a really good job around the cuticles.. My new go to nail place. And it's a perk that it's a 4 min walk from me! I live right across the street from this salon but, like another reviewer said, I would happily travel farther if needed. I got the regular (non-gel) manicure which was $15 and worth every penny. They submerge your hands into a paraffin wax container to moisturize, which was my favorite part. The place is super clean and modern, everyone was friendly, and the equipment is taken out of sterile packages. The set up is also pretty cool, with the tables connected into a central square instead of rows so you can easily see and hear everyone. There's also chocolates. Read Less

I went to Geneva on a Monday night without an appointment & I  didn't have to wait! The nail tech was quite, but professional. I received a mani/pedi, both were done very well. The service here is awesome & the owner was friendly. I've received mani/pedi's from more expensive places in Chestnut hill/Newton & the quality of work here is comparable, but at a better price, with a wide array of nail polish colors from OPI & Essie. Plus, it's super convenient if you live/work on comm ave, but don't want to travel to harvard ave/brighton center/brookline. I highly recommend Geneva nail & spa and will definitely be going there again. Read Less

I live down the street which is super convenient but I have to say I would go out of my way to visit this salon. Very few salons in the Boston area are so clean and well appointed inside. The set up is great, they can easily serve many clients at once and I suspect they will have to as more people catch on!! They really focus on cleanliness and hygiene which I appreciate, especially since I've gotten infections from other Boston salons (ew).  Everyone working in the salon is friendly to the point of remembering my name even though I have only gone 3 times so far. They do great work on my nails too, and have a decent selection of OPI and Essie. If I had to find any room for improvement it would be to add some China Glaze or Zoya polishes, but the selection is just fine as-is. The prices are reasonable and on par with the rest of the neighborhood. Today I went in to fix one broken acrylic and they told me not to worry about paying for it, which is just awesome customer service - I'll definitely keep going to this salon and make it worth their while. This salon is down the street from my apartment and I've anticipated its opening. My sisters were in town for Christmas and we decided to drop in and get gel manis and pedis. All three of us loved our experience - we were helped right away and the staff we interacted with were friendly and professional, even kind enough to help us pick colors. Despite it being the Friday before Christmas they did not rush us. Three plus weeks after my gel mani I was still getting compliments! I find the price to be fair for the customer service you receive and the sterilized equipment, and I really appreciate being able to tip on the card. I went back last night for a regular mani. Tina helped me again (she is fabulous!) and the owner remembered me by name weeks after meeting me. In summary, I honestly cannot say enough about this clean, professional, and beautiful salon. I had a really great experience at this beautiful new salon! The staff was very friendly and inviting, there was no wait to get my nails done, and the nail technician did a really great job on my nails. I was pleasantly surprised with the complementary bottle of water I was offered as soon as I walked in and by the hot wax hand mask (which I have never experienced before with another salon). Stopped in to get a manicure today. I live around the corner so I was excited for them to open. It was $12 for a regular manicure ($15 - $3 for a 1st 100 customers discount). I normally go with gel but their $33 gel manicure is a little out of my budget. Yes they may be a little more expensive than other places in the area but you quickly understand why. The place is beautiful and very clean. All of the equipment was brand new out of a sterilized bag. They even put your hands in a wax peel leaving them nice and soft. All the girls are very attentive making sure I was comfortable. I did not get that feeling that they were rushing me out to make room for the next girl up to just make money. They were very accommodating and attentive. I feel terrible for forgetting her name but I was very pleased with my manicurist. She was very friendly and did a great job.
