I have been coming here for over 2 years now and will never go anywhere else! Nataly is the only person who is allowed to touch my eyebrows. She takes the time to make sure they're perfect and doesn't let me leave the chair until they are. She remembers all of our conversations and the next time I come in, she asks me how my vacation went or how I liked the restaurant I was going to try. I also love that after my wax, the girls cover up the redness and fill them in, only if I want them to of course. On top of everything else, making and modifying my appointments online is so convenient!I also use the Goof Proof Eye Brow Pencil and the Gimme Brow Volumizing Eyebrow Gel.. both are easy to use and give my eyebrows the boost and fill they that need while still allowing them to look natural! I've had three visits to Michele so far and will definitely continue to come back!I'm sure many of you have a similar story to tell as I do. That horrible experience way back when, for me it was 2010 with one bad wax job where you brought your natural full brows in for a tune up and left with a complete hack job that left you emotionally scarred for life, as your once madonna-esque brows have just never been the same #shouldvereadtheyelpreviewsGoing forward, I've become a self acclaimed obsessive when it comes to who touches my brows, how much comes off, fearing every single tweeze, extra wax strip, and touch up with utter paranoia. That led me to spending $60 a pop at a high end Back Bay studio for the last couple years. I was willing to pay an extra high premium because I felt like the service would never falter me.Fast forward to now, I realized that paying that much for 10 minutes in a chair was nuts and sought out an alternative, and came across great reviews on Michele at Benefit.Michele listened intently as I explained my whole emotionally scarring experience, my preferences for natural full brows with good shape, and she recommended we go with threading. She walked me through exactly what she was taking off with the help of a mirror, and we took it step by step together. After my first visit, I left feeling a new woman. Loved my brows! The threading creates really clean lines that I haven't seen done with waxing or tweezing.Also it's such a nice extra touch that they'll fill in your brows and apply concealer to your redness after the service! Makes me feel like a celebrity and super pampered.The only downside to Benefit is that they typically run behind by 10 minutes.After three visits (over 3 months), Michele knows exactly what I want, and I trust her with my brows! I have been going to this location and seeing Nataly Briere for the past 5 years. In one word she's AMAZING. She takes her time and makes sure you're satisfied when she's done. I tried going to a different aesthetician when Nataly wasn't there once. I left extremely unsatisfied. (Not to say the other aesthetician was bad, but she wasn't used to doing my eyebrows). The next time I went in to get my eyebrows done I told Nataly what happened and my service was free. Nataly has been so good to me and my eyebrows! My sister and best friend who live here also go to her and when my sister visits from NY I book her an appointment with Nataly. If I ever move out of Boston I would make it a point to come to Nataly once a month! Read Less

We called ahead and were able to make an appointment within the hour. When we arrived the staff was friendly and told us about a special (buy 3 items get wax service  for free). This was a no-brainer because who can't use some extra tubes of Roller Lash?!Eva was great and my daughter said, 'this was the best. her brows have ever looked.' (Apologies in advance to my AWESOME niece who occasionally does her brows back home.) After Eva finished the mini-consult (no high arch, a natural clean brow, please) and waxing she brought us to the makeup bar area. There Amanda not only filled them in but gave a tutorial and explanation of the products used.  Side note: the Goof Proof Brow Pencil IS goof proof. It has an angled tip unlike most brow pencils that make it easier for my daughter to control and apply. I am serious about my brows and usually use ABH but even I will give this a try. The only thing is that Amanda suggested shade #4 which is too dark if your hand is anything less than the feather light touch of a DJ. Shade #3 would've been more forgiving for my 'new to brows' daughter as she gets accustomed to the product.  I guess the only downside to shopping here is the ability to exchange items if you're visiting from out of town. I would not recommend scheduling an appointment with Michele, unless you have no other plans that day and can wait around. I had a 1:15 appointment with her today. I got there about 20 minutes early.  There were no aestheticians on the floor, just the receptionists. The receptionist told me that Michele was on break and could not see me until 1:15.  That's fine.  My appointment was at 1:15.  I sit there for 20 minutes waiting, and 1:15 comes and goes with no Michele sightings. Then the receptionist comes back and tells me that Michele was running late pre-break, so she is going to be at least 10 minutes late for my appointment.  WTF.  Why did they tell me when I first arrived that she would see me at 1:15? I have a job that I needed to get back to, so I couldn't sit around and wait.  I wasted almost a half hour hanging out at Benefit for nothing.  This is at least the third time that Michele has been super late for an appointment.  I have been going to Benefit for years, but I am done.  There are plenty of other brow studios in Boston, and hopefully one of them will be able to manage their appointments better. The woman who shaped and threaded seemed nice enough but when I was transferred to another woman to do the makeup she instructed her to "keep it basic" which made both of us visibly uncomfortable, it was rude and awkward. I'm sitting there surrounded by women who have paid for the same service who are being pampered, and because of this woman's assumptions was in and out in 5 minutes looking no different than any other day. I tipped them both, I think because I was in shock. You ladies need to get it together and keep your judgements and personal assessments to yourself. Perhaps ask the customers what they're looking for instead of being insulting.Read Less
