I called the day before for an appointment on a Tuesday night. My appointment was for 5 and I got there 10 minuets early. I get that I'm early, no problem. Times goes on and after an initial "ok it will just be a minuet" I was essentially ignored.... for 40 minuets PAST my appointment time!!! To top off insult to injury a woman came in late to her appointment and they took her right away. I was fed up and called a different nail salon and 5 minuets later I was in getting my nails done. This has been my 3rd or 4th visit and service has been amazing as always. All my visits were walk-ins. I would definitely recommend booking an appointment if you're going on a Friday or Saturday, since it gets busy. But if you're like me and want to come here without appointment, then the wait is around ~20 minutes or so (on fridays/sat), which is not bad. There's a huge TV which can keep you occupied while you wait. They are closed on Sundays. I typically get gel manicures done. The nail technicians are friendly, professional, and are very skilled in their work and they take their time even when it gets busy. When I get my pedi done I always look forward to the feet massage. I recommend asking for Hao if you need an good feet massage. The salon itself is clean and I love the fact they display this machine that sterilizes their equipments so you know their tools are safe and sanitary. They have a wide range of color selections (gels/regular polish) so you'll bound to find a color you like. Overall, definitely check out this place if you're in the area. Read Less

ok it's long but here's the real deal about this place:make an appointment. unless you miraculously go when no one is getting their nails done, it's usually a pretty lengthy wait. I waited about 25 minutes, but if you have the time I suppose it doesn't matter. today I had to air dry my own nails because their nail dryer started smoking up(a problem within itself), and then before I was really done drying them one of the women said "ok you can go now, you should've gotten gel!" honey, you don't tell your customers gel is $10 extra which I didn't know last time so no, not paying $10 extra. so the service I got was not satisfactory to say the least. the only reason I'm still giving it 3 stars is because the place is very clean and my nails look cute - given I don't touch anything for the next hour because I couldn't dry them there. (seriously, they didn't even apologize for this.)still, the two older ladies are sweet. so if you do choose to still go because you have the time, make sure you get one of them. the young one, just being honest, is not nice. I love luxe nails and spa the staff are very nice. The building is very sanitary nothing sketchy. However when they did mt acrylics they were slightly uneven but I still love them. The person who did my nails was elizabeth she was really nice and I really recommend her. Read Less

I'm so glad I found this place on Yelp. As someone who does her own nails,  I am very picky about my manicures. Probably because most of the times I can do better,  so why spend the extra money. But I'm visiting my dad and didn't get a chance to do my nails, so I decided to try the nail salon thing again. Upon entering, I was greeted immediately.  They head a wide varieties of brands, types, and colors. There was an half hour wait,  but it was totally worth it. When Ann came over to work on my nails,  she didn't rush, even though it was almost to their closing time. I picked a design off Pinterest and she was able to replicate it to perfection. Love this place!   Wouldn't go anywhere else for a mani or pedi!   Very personable, attentive, and very gentle.   Relaxing atmosphere all around enjoyable experience.   I tend to go for just the plain gel.  But o have seen some of the design work, talk about amazing!   A must go! Read Less

I've been a client of Ann's for a long time, and I've never been disappointed. I've even had my nails done by Thu when Ann was on vacation at her suggestion. Now that they own Luxe Nails together, I will never have a doubt about whether my nails will be pretty!!! But you don't need j...ust a good manicurist...you need the whole experience to be relaxing whether it's a manicure, pedicure, or even getting your eyebrows waxed...and they have created a place that is very relaxing, friendly and clean (very important)... they make you feel like a client not a customer.
