I'm sorry, but this is not the nail salon for you. They did my nails during the summer last year, and I was horrified at how they looked. Not to mention this lady wouldn't stop texting her boyfriend while doing my nails. It was a painful process at how I explained to her my hands are EXTREMELY tiny for a 20 year old, but still hurt my fingers anyway leaving several parts of around my nails bleeding and I couldn't type and barely used my cell phone for almost a week. All the nails were uneven and easily chips of acrylic came off of it... I don't understand. I just don't. How can service be this terrible? This is my go to nail place. It's nothing super fancy but the staff are incredibly sweet, the prices are great and my gel manicure always lasts 2 weeks. Sometimes you are greeted by a sweet little boy or sometimes a puppy! Great neighborhood nail salon. Read Less

Don't go to this place if you just want a nail polish change. I walked in, there was 3 employees with 3 clients. One of the girls said what can we do for you. I said just a nail polish change... She replies oh we  too busy  to busy. but I'm sure if I of said manicure or pedicure she would've said oh 10 to 15 minutes wait.  I guess 0 dollars is better than 15.00.  just because I was going spend 10 bucks and I might've given her a five dollar tip they're just too busy I'll never go to this place again. Awful experience. I came in for a pink and white set.  The woman cut me on 5 of my fingers.  I can see right through the nails surface which is showing all kinds of white lines and bubbles.  Location is convenient but that is about it. Service was a complete waste of money and time. Read Less

Love Jennys Nails they always do a great job on my Shellac manicures & are meticulous in the way they do it. They use these hot stones when getting a pedicure & it feels amazing as you sit back & relax in their massage chairs. I also get my eyebrows waxed by them & they listen to what you want & get it done perfectly. The staff are ALWAYS polite, very patient & extremely nice!! I never leave there disappointed!! To busy. A man did my nails which is not a problem, but he screwed up!! Made all my nails point in different directions!! Then a lady came over and tried to fix them. You can't fix nails that are already screwed up! I was on the verge of tears...I'm so sad I lost my nail lady. I called 20 minutes before closing in dire need of a pedicure and they happily took me (I know, I'm a last minute asshole). The massage chairs are seriously one of the best, they actually feel like a real massage instead of just bouncing you all over the place.I'm incredibly picky about my nails and this place was great. The woman doing my pedicure took her time despite me being a jerk and coming before closing, she did such an awesome job to be careful with my horrible in grown toe nails that hurt and made them feel so much better. I love the leg rest thing you use when scrubbing your feet so you don't have to hold your leg up forever. You can truly relax here. The salon is clean and has a variety of polishes to choose from. I got a gel mani and it lasted 2 weeks! I only had to take it off because it had grown out so much, but still had not chipped. I wasn't thrilled with the environment because there was a small child running around and playing, which ruined the quiet ambiance. It was cheap and they took me as a walk in, with good quality work. I had my nails done two days ago and three of my nails are broken. I tried to explain the way I like my nails done and the lady gave me an attitude saying she was gonna to try. I am a hairstylist and the first rule to have a customer satisfied is consultation. They need to learn to do consultation first. I asked for pedicure and refill for gel acrylics. I paid $70 and I left very unsatisfied with the service that I received. I use gel acrylics for long time and never had a horrible job like this. The polish was bumpy and She put 3 polish coats + top coat. the layer of acrylic was very thin and that's why is breaking. It looked horrible and really bad job. I was going to go back and complaint, but just decided not to because I don't want to get upset again. This is the second time I left upset and it was my last one. Read Less

Good. Did a walk in pedicure one a Monday evening, pleasantly surprised, Love the hot stones during pedicure. Lady did. Great job, took her time and I was happy with the results. The only good thing is that I called at 5:30 on Sat to come in then for a mani and pedi and they fit us in. I don't get my nails done a lot (and I don't do them myself) so I think my standards are pretty low but I noticed that my nails looked like they had been scratched up and the polish started peeling in 2/3 days. I'm not sure the lady even put a top coat on. When they had us stick our hands in front of a fan to dry my grind noticed that her polish was wrinkling so we went over to the drying table. My friend also noticed, after we left, that her pedicure really needed another top coat. All in all it was a big disappointment and I would never go back. Just go down the street to Orange Nails. Great quality for the price. I go pretty often. Laid back, comfortable, and friendly. They're a little slow, but I actually like that. When I walk in and they are busy I just let them know I want to be next and then run to Starbucks before coming back. They take their time and do a good job. I have never felt rushed out the door or pushed into buying anything extra.They sometimes have kids in there, but they are very well behaved and super cute.Also, they have a loyalty card program. This place is a hit-or-miss with me: my first visit was a walk-in and I received a fantastic 90-minute mani/pedi with my gel manicure lasting 2+ weeks. My second visit was an appointment and the technicians had me sit in the pedicure chair for almost 30 minutes before somebody came over (they overbook themselves constantly), my technician rushed through my pedicure to match time with my sister (who was waited on on-time), and now my gel manicure is peeling off less than one week later. I went yesterday to get a shellac manicure. I just did a walk in and i did not have to wait. It was quiet in there (no music or tv) which is fine with me. I can tell the other customers are regulars. Just wanted a quick manicure and got what I needed here.  This is not a fancy place, but the girls were nice, did a great job, and was quick!  I went in on a Monday afternoon as a walk in and I was the only person, which was fine.  My manicure still looks good on Thursday and I did not get shellac!  They asked and politely declined and that was it.  I'll be going back again! Jennie's is under new management and  I was in dire need of a pedicure today. A lovely young lady, Emily and her mother operate the new Jennie's. It was a wonderful experience and the leg and foot massage was highlighted by a hot stone massage which was wonderful. I selected a new color which just came in and had Emily paint a fun design. This place is so bad, i just created a yelp account to write a review. Can I make this review a negative star? DON'T GO HERE DON'T GO HERE. I just got the WORST, sloppiest, ugliest gel manicure. Super thin color, had to request a 3rd coat when it clearly looked like crap with just 2. Finished looking like a nine year old did my nails. Jenny Nails is not the place you go for a super luxurious nail salon experience (go to Nails & Co. in N. Beverly for that).  It's  a good place to go with your girlfriends to catch up and for a quick, but solid mani/pedi without the froufy decor of some of the higher end salons.  With 4 pedicure chairs in a row facing the manicure stations, it's nice to be able chat with your friends and enjoy a good time. They take appointments, but I've always been able to walk in and get started without an appointment within 5 - 10 minutes. Their color selection is pretty good, too.This place is ideal for prewedding mani/pedis - I took my wedding party here on the morning of my wedding and we enjoyed mimosas (there's Bogie's Wine and Beer next door for champagne purchases) while we got our nails done.  They were very accommodating to our large party.They're consistent and priced reasonably ($35 for a mani/pedi).  I've gone here at least 25 times and have never had a cuticle cut or any other negative experience.  Be forewarned that the owner's kids can often be found at the salon, sometimes running free.  They're pretty cute and kind of entertaining though.  Bottom line - if you're looking for a "spa experience" go to the more expensive salons and pay the premium.  If not, this is the place to be. You can't beat the price for a mani/pedi compared to the high end salons.  Of course you don't get any atmosphere but do get the pleasure of the owner's son running around the shop.  Whatever you do DO NOT get the Opi Axxium gel manicure.  Way over priced at $30 and they will destroy your nails preparing them for the polish. I got a full set of gels here. The woman did them incorrectly, made them way too wide which I asked her NOT to do, they charged me $5 for white tips w/out telling me, it was freezing and had no heat. Basically I spent $45+tip on a completely careless, lousy nail job. Would not go back or recommend. Read Less
