I called their first thing this morning and the woman who answered the phone just said hello like it was a personal call on her cell phone. I had to ask if it was Beverly Day Spa. I then asked about the price of a pedicure which is higher than other places in Beverly which are 23 to 25 dollars. The person became very dismissive once she knew I wasn’t interested in making an appointment yet. The biggest mistake made was thinking she had disconnected the call when she hadn’t. She said “oh my god, can you believe that?” Not with your time even trying a place that can’t be professional enough on the phone and show common courtesy by stating the name of the place as well as the name of the person who answers the phone. I had a disappointing experience here. I went in yesterday for mani-pedis with my sister. The pedicure was decent, but the manicure was one of the worst salon manicures I've had in my life.The tech who did my nails was very rough and unfriendly. Her English is quite limited, which is fine, but she kept up a side conversation in a different language with another tech. I was wincing as she worked on my toes because she was trimming the cuticles so aggressively. During the manicure, I took out my credit card and asked to pay before she started polishing my nails. She understood me but ignored my request and just left my card sitting there. Then she took out a sander-type tool I've never seen used on natural nails and began attacking the cuticles on my fingers. I told her my nails were natural, not artificial, but she just kept going. Then she began cutting the cuticles. Again, she was rough. She cut me so badly I was bleeding. She didn't say anything until she saw me looking at the bleeding cut, and then all she said was "Sorry." Adding insult to injury, the polish application was sloppy. The cut is still stinging a day later. In fairness, I will say the tech who helped my sister seemed much nicer than the one I had. Oh, and tips are accepted in cash only. They take credit cards only for the services. We left without a smile, a goodbye, a thank you, or any other form of courtesy from the staff. When here with my girlfriend. The salon was extremely clean right on Rantoul Street! It would be a perfect day to get your manicure or pedicure and then go to a lovely restaurant in Beverly! Went for my first time today. Worst pedicure had to have them redo the paint because it looked awful all over my skin, the woman cut the skin off my toes numerous times. My nails came out decent over all. In my opinion it is definitely over priced for the quality of the work. I figured I would give it a shot because this place has good reviews but my experience was not that great at all. I'll stick with my usual place for now on. Read Less

Friendly, Clean, Courteous, Attentive to your needs & requests. . . That basically sums up BDS. The first time I went I got a gel polish on my nails and a regular pedi. Both lasted much longer than any other nail salon I have ever been to. I like that the ladies truly focus on the quality of the services that are being performed and they make you feel as comfortable as possible. I am new to Beverly day and spa but they are warm and inviting they did such a great job after 2 wks getting French manicure done my nails are still not chipped still look like I just did them yesterday and the price is right they just won my business and its such a pleasant atmosphere especially with all the nail salons around I have only been to 2 in 3yrs but I will say they win my vote and I am not one to write but they deserve a survey good luck to them Read Less

I started going to Beverly Day Spa and I have nothing but great things to say. When it comes to nail salons I am extremely picky. beverly day spa offers great services that are affordable, the staff is professional, the salon is super clean and the staff are great conversationalists.
