I’ve been a customer at sassys for five years on and off. I say on and off because it really is hit or miss at this nail place. In the last 6 months I’ve gotten my acrylic nails done there every two weeks. This week one of my nails broke in half. I went to the store to calmly explain the situation and ask for a refund because this isn’t the first time this has happened. Tina, the owner, told me she couldn’t give me a refund. One of the regular guys who does my nails and always butchers them laughed in my face when I told her about it, and then all the employees continued to stare at me and talk in Korean. I was so embarrassed I just let her fix my nails and went on my way. The next day, so yesterday, TWO MORE OF MY NAILS FELL OFF. So THREE of my nails fell off in the course of SEVEN DAYS. I’m never one to complain even when my nails come out all different shapes and sizes but this is just too much. 2 stars just because we got a nice lady on the phone and when we came (me and my boyfriend) at the salon and got served right away,  but then the "fun" begins, there where 2 guys who were doing our nails, they rushed every move possible, didn't had time to enjoy or at least to see the quality of their work, to me they worked more for quantity not quality, the guy who painted my nails did a terrible job, and plus that they are chipping already, the polish didn't hold 24 hours.. I usually do my nails at home, but decided to give it a try, NO, a bad decision, I will never go there again, or recommend to anyone.. it's just a waste of money and looks shitti!!! Read Less

I came here yesterday for a gel manicure. They have a great selection of so many colors, BUT they were out of the color I chose. You're a nail salon! It's unacceptable to not have a color you advertise. Like order the $5 bottle when it's running low. So that knocked off a star because I'm so tired of salons not having the colors they claim to. My technician was fast but she did 2 coats on one hand and 3 coats on the other. I picked a very bright orange red, so one hand looked more orangey/transparent and the other hand looked more cherry red/opaque. So annoying. Will not go back! Read Less

Best salon ever!! TOTAL PACKAGE here my friends! Totally caring owner, Nina; absolute #1 staff all the way around! and let me not forget ...my totally Perfect Nail Tech (Sara Meas)! I had to save "the best" for last! Sara is a true artist! She can replicate anything you want (free hand) but even make it better than what you imagined because of her personal touch! Had my nails done by Nancy today. She was awesome. Thank you to the previous  reviewers. You were right I had a great experience. I was also lucky in that there wasn't much of a wait. Nail Salon is clean and well kept. Color choices were also great. Other staff members were pleasant. When I'm in the Cape again I will definitely stopby. Read Less

I am not usually one to post a negative review....in fact, this will be my first. I tried this place a few times to give it a fair shot. I would rather not have my nails "done" at all than go back here. I am pretty simple....pink and white with gel top coat. This place couldn't have complicated things, wasted more of my time or money. Came down to NC from Mass visiting my parents and needed to get my nails done - spent the whole morning on yelp finding near by nail salons with good reviews. Stumbled upon Simply nails with great reviews and figured I'd give them a try - and thank god I did! Friendliest staff, clean salon, I was well taken care of by Tiffani. I got a French manicure, which came out awesome! will definitely be making another appointment with Tiffani when I am visiting in NC! Read Less

Went in today after reading some good reviews here on yelp for a full gel set. They answered my questions and were very friendly. The salon was full but I could tell some people go there all the time as they knew the staff by name. The salon was pretty clean and I was happy with my results overall. I'd recommend to a friend. I gave 4 stars as there were a few areas I needed to file to make even but otherwise I have no complaints. Read Less

Worst pedicure I've ever had. I sat and waited for 30 minutes with my feet in cold water. Then she cut my nails way to short to the point were it hurt. Once this painful experience was over the girl told me she didn't like the color I picked out. It took 2 hours to get a horrible manicure pedicure. Not relaxing at all.
