My daughter and I only go to this location Billy and his wife take excellent care of us! Not to mention they do a great job! We even got my brother there for a pedicure with us! As I said we have gone there for a long time ever since there son was a baby. They have always treated us kindly. I feel bad for those who have had a poor experience here. By far the best place that I have been! Really nice and friendly! I found that most places I have been seem to rush my nails leaving them not how I asked them to look! Yes, without doubt this duo know what they are doing, had full set next gen & in fills.... I think prefer new set personally than infills as you can see a very slight ridge. However, they need to engage more with the client. They need to be more personable and chatty. Smile!Read Less

Moved to RI 6 yrs ago from Boston and randomly chose this salon because it was near to where I live. I've been going ever since.....the owners son was just a baby and I've watched him grow into grade school. I've never had a problem and I'm always satisfied with the services. The staff is helpful and always pleasant. If I don't have an appointment and I'm a " walk in " I've never waited more than 10-15 minutes. After going here 6 yrs, why would I go elsewhere? I work right near this salon and so for the convenience I went in, I was seated right away and usually am during the weekdays, if you make an appointment they stick to them as best as they can. As far as the services I will say that the women owner (lily) is great highly recommend her for all services. I’m VERY picky about my eyebrows, lily is the BEST eyebrow tech that I’ve been to. The man owner and I had a falling out and I haven’t gotten my nails done since. I had gotten a full set and maybe after the first fill two of my nails broke so I went and got them fixed, it was time for my second fill and he started taking some nails off, which not only is it the second fill but I’ve had my nails done so many times I know how and when you need to get new sets. Anyways I after he took the first nail off I asked him which nails are you taking off and he ignored me and just continued taking the nails off, (at this point I only had an hour and I also didn’t want to spend extra $ ecspecially only on my second fill) after he took off another nail I asked again more clear and more directive and he ignored me again and started going back to work, I was soo upset that I told him to take all the nails off and he did and then he left my nails looking so beat up and ruined I asked if he could clean them up and he ignored me again. The wife lily came over apologized on his behalf and stated he doesn’t understand questions well and then she gave me a good offer for my next visit. You can tell they take customer service seriously and they do try however noones perfect, I’m sure some people had bad days and I think he was having a bad day. DONT IGNORE THIS REVIEW!! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY!! Sad I had to give it one star!!This place needs to be OUT OF BUSINESS! Im one of the kindest patient people (when it comes to being served by public) and today I WAS TREATED LIKE A PIECE OF GARBAGE BY BILLY not only did I make 2 trips back to be seen the second time i waited 45 minutes, his wife told me come back 5 oclock so i did i arrived at 4:55 for a fill by Billy his wife removed my polish and i patiently waited until 5:30pm before i asked his wife to call him to see how much longer she said "5 mo minut" i said np, I would have came back the next day if she hadnt removed my polish already, 10 minutes later he shows up and begins my nails, my left hand was VERY THICK with acryllic while the right very thin, I kindly asked if he could please thicken my right side up to match the other HE LITERALLY REFUSED TO DO IT AND SHOWED ME THE DOOR!! I could tell he was looking for a reason to get out of doing my nails, he was very rough clipping away the acryllic he was angry taking it out on me, HE WAS IN THE WRONG AND his wife knew it but was too scared to stand up to him!! I left with gobs of acryllic on my left and and a thin coat on the other! I've been going to Happy Nails before Lily and Billy bought it like over 5 years since 2010 I stopped going to them over 2 years ago they cut back on their hours and I was one of their best customers. And they never told me I can deal with Billy's attitude it's just the way he speaks Lily to but they're very fast at what they do sometimes they do make mistakes not everyone's perfect. But when they cut back on their hours I've been going there for over five years it's been bought by a couple of other people. They never let me know and I had a fill that needed to be done for 3 weeks and I work retail and it looked awful so now I go to Sassy Nails ask the Steven he is fantastic it's like going to a doctor once they know how your nails grow they your nails will be fantastic just call ahead of time let him know you're coming just don't show up cuz he has a lot of clientele even if you're like a 20-minute away call to let him know that you're coming and he'll make room for you Steven is the best I gave him for Stars Read Less

Some people may not like Billy's attitude because of how he speaks.. it just that he takes the wrong approach. I have had two bad experiences with him but understood what he meant about the gel polish and the length of the nails. I told him I like the long sometimes and he began to get upset, saying that they break easier. I laughed and set leave them long...I have not had any more problem with him. As a matter of fact, I have him cut them down all the time because he was right, I was not breaking them but banging them a lot. Some people can have long nails with no problem but I am clumsy. I have been there 3 times every time iv'e had a problem. It's "no no this is better". They guy does what HE wants. I have been doing my nails longer than he's had that store. He refuses to please the customer. I went today and asked him to clean under the nail again "no no this is better" IT LOOKS HORRIBLE. Then tells me "oh come back in a week i'll clean it"... so he can charge me again NOT. I have NEVER had a problem with these things at sassy nails also in south attleboro (over near chuckie cheese) I refuse to tip them cash (there's just something funky about that) thats all they accept. I went  there because it is close where my grand daughter lives. To me 3 strikes your out... back being loyal to the place iv'e been for years. I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Most horrible place I have ever been too. I needed to go someplace near work, so stopped in because I was traveling the following day. I needed pedicure and shellac manicure. I told the lady if she couldn't do the shellac within the hour then don't she assured me it wouldn't be problem. I was shocked she did both within 4o minutes. within two days my shellac was peeling on my fingers. I went back in after two days and she saw me and ignored me. They had few people there waiting it was about 5:40pm. I just said to her I had to come back because the shellac is peeling and she just said I needed to come back the following day. I looked at her and said I am not from this area it's Friday and I won't be able to come back till Tuesday when I come back to work. The customer she was working on even said to her you can't do her nails and she said no not today she had other people waiting. I am not lying they had only three people she couldn't work on me or take it off in between people? It was peeling and lifting so badly. I don't do dishes I wasn't traveling and swimming it was just completely horrible. I should have also mention that while I was there she was holding and eating a piece of corn! REALLY???? I went to another place near my house to have it them re-done to a place I loved I should have just went to the usual place but thought let me try it out because it's near work... DON'T COME HERE! Left this place about 15 min ago. Went in for a fill and was rushed through it. The guy said that he had no one to care for his son so he was trying to get him home at a decent time. Every time I decide to go to Happy Nails & Spa I call to schedule a time to be seen. The only two times, and surely the last time, I went I was told "5 mins" which turned into 45 mins. When I expressed my aggravation to the staff they were rude and disrespectful. The customer service skills, as well as the way they run their business is appalling. I've been to Happy Nails twice now. Both were fairly bad experiences. Both times my friend and I waited an hour to get our nails done, they only have two people on at any given time and when it was finally our turn he sat us side by side, which was nice, but he then proceeded to jump between the two of us and the two women getting pedicures. He literally took my polish off, took my friends polish off, filed, buffed, etc my nails, then did hers. He then went to his pedicure customers and left us sitting waiting while he worked on them. This was what he continued to do for the rest of our time there. Once he finally had my nails done and was painting them, I notched, before he put my top coat on, that he left a brush bristle on my left thumb nail. I asked him to get it off and he argued with me and said once he put the top coat on I wouldn't be able to see it, which makes no sense, but he refused to take it off. I then found myself for the next two weeks staring at that nail brush bristle all the time.We figured we would give them another chance since my friend has been going there a long time and this was the first time she had a problem. This time was even worse. We waited almost two hours just to sit down, and again he jumped between the two of us and two other customers. I then asked him to do a simple nail design and he argued with me telling me it was impossible to do it and it would look bad, even though I've had the same kind of design done before and I had a picture of it done on someone's nails, which makes it not impossible. I then said "okay fine, can you do a four leaf clover?" And he then argued with me again. Telling me he couldn't do it because 'it will look bad' .. I know the woman who works there does excellent nail design so I asked him if she could do it, and he proceeded to tell me no because he didn't want to share his tip.This place has horrible customer service, horrible wait times, awful color choice for paint, and a lot of the bottles they do have are crusty and old and separated. If you can't do basic simple nail design, then you're not a professional and you shouldn't be working at a nail salon. The only upside of this place is they have a card where when you get a serve 10 times you get money off your next one. I waited nearly 45 minutes to receive a 30 second manicure, I could still see indentations through the polish left over from press on nails, and the guy barely spoke two words to me. A solid four. I work in Pawtucket and occasionally meet a girlfriend in the Attleboro area for coffee and a mani/pedi. I'm pretty loyal to my Providence salons, but I don't have many complaints about Happy Nails. It's clean and bright and the employees are very friendly. We've always had good luck here and the prices are fine. Ask for a card--after 10 manis/pedis/whatever, you get a free one. Color selection for basic paint jobs is lacking, but they do offer the new gel/shellac treatments. They do a nice job with the shape and polish, and I was pretty pleased to watch the thorough scrubdown of the foot basins. No finishing spray, and the UV machine was acting funky the last time I was there, but no major issues. Like many salons, they will not add gratuity to the credit card receipts, so bring cash for a tippy-poo. Read Less

I believed they're under a new management now... the prices are still the same...  receptionist and staffs are very friendly. My sister got a Mani and  a pedi and she loves it. This is the nail salon factory. I really felt like a car moving down the assembly line here. It's cheap, but it's totally not worth it in my opinion. I get my nails done out of practicality, sure, but it's mostly an indulgence... that I'd like to enjoy. Not here, that's for sure.The good: Bright, modern decor, comfortable massage chairs, plenty of staff, inexpensive, good polish color selection, no wait, clean.The bad: Everything else! The service here is quick but awful. The staff barely spoke to me, and I felt like I shouldn't be there. I like to feel welcomed in a spa-type setting, and there was no pineapple over the door here. The product is also not great. It was fine for a quick job to tide you over, but I think I could have done a better job at home -- which is not the impression you want to get when dropping any amount of money on a service.In all fairness, I gave Happy Nails several chances to change my mind, and they just don't cut it. With so many options around for nail salons, I'd recommend skipping Happy Nails. Your nails will be happier for it. Read Less
