I love going to Star Nails and seeing Vi. Her nail salon is impeccably clean, very peaceful and calm. You feel a total sense of comfort and coziness when you are getting pampered here. Vi and her team are experienced and thorough and they do all nail services ranging from gel and acrylic manicures to pedicures and specialized treatments such as paraffin and hot stone foot massage.  You never feel like you are just a number to get in and out quickly. I got a pedicure there (yes I've had them before) but this place left me with an ingrown toenail that got infected Ok' the infection is probably my fault but the ingrown nail is tier fault, and to boot my girlfriend got a nail fungus...both NASTY. I phoned today and asked if they would be available in an hour to do a full set, and they took me right in! Kim did my nails, and they turned out great - the exact shape and size that I wanted, with no bumps. All of the nail ladies were very chatty to their customers and the environment in the salon is very calm and relaxing. I will definitely be back! Read Less

A few of my friends had suggested that I go here to get a mani or pedi because we're young so they liked a cheaper option. The first few times I went, I didn't see a problem-- my nails were gorgeous and shiny, and my budget wasn't broken. The only complaint I had at the time was that the service speaks little to no english so it was hard to get across what I wanted. The next time I went, I had a horrifying experience. It was my first ever pedi, and the woman hacked away at my cuticle to the point that it was oozing blood. I became faint and they had to get me water-- I almost had to leave half-painted. Fortunately I was alright after a few minutes, but this traumatizing experience will never be forgotten. I actually was forced to go back a few months ago when my other salon closed unexpectedly right before a big event, and my mani was fine. I will never get a pedi at this place again! Read Less
