The owner Julie is great, friendly and professional. She makes you feel very welcome and provides excellent service. She is my go to girl for some stress relief. She’s stays current w new products and techniques. She creates along w her staff a positive upbeat energy that I’ve found nowhere else. Won't go back. Waited for 15 minutes. We were taken back to sit in the pedi chairs and there was cold water in both of ours already. Weird. They told us to put our feet in. We didn't do it and waited another 15 minutes only to be told they had no hot water to soak our feet in. They said it was busy that day and they run out of hot water. I have been to Serenity nails many times. I have read all of the reviews. I have been to a lot of nail salons, and one thing I can say about this place is, its NOT dirty at all. They keep up on the times and always knows how to do the latest nail treatments and up to date polish. Everyone is nice and accommodating. Priced a little high - but you get what you pay for. I took my 3 (adult) daughters here for mani-pedis and it was an ok experience. They definitely take their time, which is relaxing if you can spend 1 1/2 for a regular mani/pedi (or not if you don't plan for the time, so heads up). English is not well spoken here and of the 4 or us, two of us had mishaps due to miscommunication- nothing that wasn't fixed but still frustrating. One of us ended up bleeding during her manicure due to over trimming her cuticle. Clean space, nice music, friendly associates.Not a horrible experience, not great. The salon is clean, but they rip you off. When I was there 3 weeks ago, a gel refill for my nails and toes cost 80$ with glitter on both nails and toes as well. Today I go in and get the same services without glitter and the total is 98$?? I asked the girl why is it more expensive and she said 1. There's a 5$ charge to soak off gel to put new gel on both nails and toes (been getting gel nails for YEARS and I have never heard of any salon charging 5$ extra every time you come... in to get a gel mani/pedi refill) 2. There's a 5$ charge for coffin shaped nails. Again, I've been getting coffin shaped nails for years as well and have never been charged extra for a nail shape. I have never been to a place that isn't able to track gift certificates, especially this day in age. I bought my mom a $50 gift certificate for Mother's Day and unfortunately misplaced it. However, I had three forms of proof to show that I bought the gift certificate and they basically told me " too bad" & that they were unable to redeem it. So, I won't be back. And neither will my mom or the three other friends that I usually take with me. I'd rather get a pedicure from a business that isn't so upfront about being all about the money. We went to this salon a while back and they were rude and did a horrible nail job. We had gotten good pedi's so my daughter has gotten several pedi's since and sent a few customers. On Mother's Day my daughter bought me a $50. gift certificate. This was only a month ago. Unfortunately, the gift certificate got thrown away in the envelope. We have proof of bank account that the certificate was bought. We explained what happen and they basically said "too bad" and they will not honor it even though we have a picture and proof of payment. My 19 year old paid for it and worked hard for the money. What salon in this day and age doesn't keep track of their gift certificates. Sorry don't believe them and will warn you DON'T BUY A GIFT CERTIFICATE AND IF YOU DO DON'T LOSE IT CAUSE THEY WON'T HONOR IT. THAT WAS OUR LAST TRIP TO THIS SALON. And again they were rude. Finally found a consistently good nail salon. Have been getting acrylic fills there for a few months now. They always look very natural and overall well done. I've been recommending this place to everyone because I know how hard it is to find a decent nail salon. I believe the fill is $20 or $22. Pretty compatible to other places. This salon is nice. However they nickel and dime you for every little thing when you come in for a pink and white solar fill. The fills I've gotten at other salons include the cutting of your previous nails at no extra charge, and out oil on your cuticles after the fill. I've gotten fills there 3 times now and it always seems like Ann always try to get you to check out at a certain price point, which I think is dishonest. They should charge you for what the do not what they w...ant to put in their pocket. I went into today with them cut to the length and none of my nails were broken or had to be replaced and Ann still couldn't help but charge me for what she said was broken nails. I am disappointed in this factor and will probably go back to my guy Andy at Organic Nails in Pflugerville. He does an excellent job and doesn't over charge me, but the salon he is at is a little far of a drive. But at the end of the day the extra drive is worth it for the overall experience. I was hoping to have a place that was closer, but I hate when people nickel and dime you for things that should be included. You guys needs to improve on the overall customer experience and not fall into ego traps. The pedicure girl I had has been great, but I want a place that can do a great job on my fills and pedis. My nails look like they were done by a drunken kindergartener. Totally uneven, crooked, thick, bumpy and ugly. I was charged $40 for a full set, but another $10 for gel polish??? Then $10 more to remove nails when I came in for a fill??? Never mind that I was there the entire afternoon. These nails look so fake they are downright embarrassing. Never again. Read Less

I'll have to admit I was surprised at the level of professionalism at this salon! Staff was very warm and welcoming. I've never felt so comfortable at a nail salon. Usually you just want to get your nails done and be gone. But at serenity I felt welcome and really enjoyed my experience with the staff and even the customers were nice !
