I've been here twice now. The first time was between three or four years ago and then today. I have seen two different stylists (unfortunately, I'm terrible with names, and can't remember the name of either stylist). Both times, I've left extremely happy. The stylists have given me a thorough consultation before even washing my hair. They've told me what would work for my hair type, asked how I normally wore/styled it, answered questions/made suggestions for me, and kept asking me if I wanted anything differently/was happy while cutting. I gave one star since negative stars are not an option. I went in for a hair cut 10/7/17 with Harley. So, most salons give a mini scalp massage when washing your hair, but not here. I couldn't tell when my wash ended and the conditioner process started. That process lasted about 2 minuets or less. My hair was long, mid back length, after my "cut" I had uneven strands of hair some hitting my shoulder some still touching my mid back. This cut cost me $66 ( this includes a 20% tip) obviously I didn't notice the inconsistencies in my hair at that time. When I called the salon to let them know about my uneven hair I was told by the receptionist that my hairdresser Harley was booked for the next 4 days, but someone else could fix my hair.And if they have to cut more than a few hairs then I will be charged $45 for a new haircut!!! What?!?! So I could possibly have to pay for another hair cut at the same salon that messed my hair up in the first place?  I declined. I thought surely Harley or the manager would call and apologize and try to keep me as a customer. It's been 3 weeks and nothing. I guess being a woman who usually tips 20% is not an ideal customer for the Bladerunner Salon. I thought their mantra was, "You make us look good", not We make you look bad. Read Less

I can't speak for others but I had an excellent experience at bladerunner today. It was my first time in the shop. I had Harley give me a buzz cut. She was very reasonable and did an awesome job. The establishment was clean, bright and welcoming. I look forward to my next visit! Read Less

How to lose customers in 2 minutes by phone: tell them in so many words not to waste your time because the employees are really busy. Granted that could be a valid statement. However, working in customer service teaches one not to ever speak to a client or potential client in this manner. Just because a client does not want to talk to "you" or leave a message doesn't mean that person should be treated with less respect. Used to be a long time customer. Hope those sales were grand. Just moved back to the area and.was recommended to try bladerunner for lash extensions... I was leaving town and had limited time but they got me in for not only lashes but, highlights, a deep Conditioning treatment and a trim with a blow out.. I Instantly felt welcomed and knew that day I had found my new salon! Everyone is so so welcoming and friendly.. the atmosphere was comfortable and inviting.. talking and.laughing.. it's that old school salon experience that I feel like is really hard to.find these days.. but they have it! I have been a client at Bladerunner for over 15 years. I have never been unhappy with my service, my haircut, or color. These are professional stylists who obviously have been trained in the latest styles and techniques. Mahi is my stylist, and all I need to say is "do what you think will look best", and she never disappoints. If I have a special request or idea for a new style, she will thoroughly discuss how she thinks it fits my face and my hair type. I can't tell you how many times I have been out in public and people have complimented my hair. I highly recommend Bladerunner and can confidently say you will feel pampered and valued as a client. We have visited bladerunner for haircuts, styling, spray tanning, and eye brow waxing. All services have been great! Do not have one thing to complain about. The prices are decent for a salon, but you can't expect to get a salon haircut and pay hair cuttery prices. Plus you get reward points. Plan to be using their massage services soon!! I took my daughter here for a homecoming style with a follow up make up application for the following weekend. Their website states a simple hairstyle (washed and straightened) is $30. I was charged $40 (interestingly enough, I had a $10 coupon.) As I was trying to inquire about this the receptionist cut me off by answering the phone. Also I noticed while my daughter was getting her hair styled one of the stylists went to the makeup table and applied her own makeup using the brushes and lipstick at the table. She then placed the brushes back in the the holder without cleaning them, she applied the lipstick directly to her mouth and did not clean that before returning it. Love this salon and their stylists. Started out with Caroline, now retired, back when I was in college (!), I believe. (Even my mother goes there now.) Then owner/stylist Lisa started cutting my hair, doing my highlights when a strand of grey had the nerve to show up, and I've always loved the results. (Also appreciate that, decor-wise, they don't go in for the NY or Milan fashion runway vibe/so-hip-to-the-minute-that-your-appointment-is-actually-occurring-in-the-future-while-you're-here pretense.
