THE MOST HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE EVER!!! I WENT FOR A GEL MANICURE AND THE OWNERS MOTHER IS THE ONE WHO WAS PERFORMING THE SERVICES. SHE PROBABLY DID NOT HAVE A LICENSE BECAUSE SHE CUT MY FINGER WHEN SHE WAS CUTTING DOWN MY NAILS WITH THE CUTICULE CUTTER SHE CUT ME AND I BLED FOR ONE HOUR THE OWNER THEN FINISHED MANICURE AND THE GEL POLISH WAS WATERED DOWN AND NO GLOVES WERE PROVIDED WHILE UNDER THE UV LIGHT I AM CONTACTING THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT BECAUSE THESE PRACTICES ARE UNSAFE AND UNSANITARY IF YOU ARE WISE NEVER GO TO THIS NAIL SALON.

I am not sure why I didn’t check online reviews for Mega Nails in Waldorf, MD before I stepped foot in there. Here’s to hoping others don’t make my horrible mistake. I’m not giving this place ANY stars if I’m able to post a review this way. Some of the things I heard from Annie “the owner” of this establishment were: “I don’t care”, “Not my problem”, “I have never had a problem with anyone else complaining about a bad nail job here” (not true when you look at the online reviews!!), “No you can’t get your money back” and my personal favorite: “I don’t care if you report me to the Better Business Bureau!” 😡. Apparently they have been in business for 20 years or so, but I have been getting my nails done for over 30 and have NEVER had a problem of this magnitude with a nail salon or any other business for that matter! Truly, Mega Nails does NOT deserve to exist. DO NOT GO THERE!!!! You’re welcome. Have a great day!

I come here all the time and am usually content. They are better than most in the area. My last visit was awful. The chrome came off within a day. My nail cracked within 2 days and by day 4 my gel polish had peeled off. I was told my nails were old and I needed to stop getting fillings and get them replaced. Also that I didn't call soon enough so they could do anything. I called by day 7. I work and am expecting and since I thought I was a regular they would at least give me a discount on my next visit or something. My nails are embarrassing and they should be embarrassed of doing such a poor job. Never going back.

This is the worst nail salon i have ever been to the day i went n got my nails done on Wednesday they popped of that sunday. Not only did they pop off the people over charged me the manager has been gone for 3 weeks she says no refund well so all over for u wat part of yall have bad service's DONT YOU UNDERSTAND!!! THEY ARE THE WORST SHOP EVER DONT EVER GO HERE!!!!

The nail tech I had took two hours to do a simple, basic pedicure. I had to ask them to shape both of my big toes the same shape. Very friendly, but they don't speak English too well. When they don't understand your request, they just smile and laugh, goofily. Don't go there if you are in a rush. Overall, my feet looked good after 5 simple requests that any experienced or seasoned nail tech would know.

I will try to be positive and honest without being bitchy. Mega Nails has a nice sized salon in the inside. So you won't feel like you are forced to be right on top of another waiting patron. The next tip isn't based on any type bias.....just truth......PLEASE expect to gel products put on your nails instead of "Shellac". I called prior to going simply to confirm, because the website said they did have shellac. I was told yes they do only to get there and they kept calling it gel and saying they are the same thing. They are similar but not the same. So that truly annoyed me. Also, Shellac is advertised for 20.00 BUT what I learned is that it is 20.00 EXTRA.....smh....On a good note I did walk in and I was waited on immediately. Sad thing is that I had to ask at least once to please file nail straight and to place polish on the entire nail. I clearly saw unpainted nail on my toes. I am not totally satisfied with my mani and pedi. I MAY try them again but get mani and pedi with another person, because now that I am looking closely I have polish on the skin surrounding the toe.

Nail tech was very rude and did an awful job on my nails. I got acrylic nails that broke off the very next day. I was not pleased with the way they looked but hoped they would at least until it was time for a fill. Will not be going back and would not recommend this place to anyone.

I am not sure why I didn’t check online reviews for Mega Nails in Waldorf, MD before I stepped foot in there. Here’s to hoping others don’t make my horrible mistake. I’m not giving this place ANY stars if I’m able to post a review this way. The nail tech I had took two hours to do a simple, basic pedicure. I had to ask them to shape both of my big toes the same shape. Very friendly, but they don't speak English too well. When they don't understand your request, they just smile and laugh, goofily. Don't go there if you are in a rush. Overall, my feet looked good after 5 simple requests that any experienced or seasoned nail tech would know.

The next tip isn't based on any type bias.....just truth......PLEASE expect to gel products put on your nails instead of "Shellac". Nail tech was very rude and did an awful job on my nails. I got acrylic nails that broke off the very next day. I was not pleased with the way they looked but hoped they would at least until it was time for a fill. Will not be going back and would not recommend this place to anyone.
