I have to say that I am very disappointed and disgusted with this place. I have been a customer of this salon for years, and to be honest it was just because it was the closest to my house. There recently was a different nail salon a little further down that was very nice but I choose to go to Star Nails this time because I haven't been going there for months. As I thought it was a little bit of a wait, no big deal at first because i wasn't in a rush. After 20 minutes of waiting the OWNER of the salon skips over me to take someone else . I let her finish with the customer then ask her why did she take someone that came after me before me. She then looked at the sign in book and said ohhh. Then she went to the back of the salon for a second came back out and started doing someone else's nails. I went to her again and asked her why did she not even ackowledge what I had said to her and she said that since I wanted two different services done she took the other person first but yet made no sense because I was getting the same thing done as the person she put before me. she told me to wait 10 more miutes after I had already waited a little over 20 so I decided to leave and go to ReJu Nail Spa down the street from them in Osborne shoppin center instead. What a waste of my complete time. The wait time in this shop amazes me especially since the service that's provided is mediocre. The wait time on a Sunday was an hour to two hours. I tried to quickly get a fill in and gel polish and it was completely awful. My nails were filed very strange and the polish was on my actual skin. I asked the gentleman why are you painting my skin and not my nails? I decided to leave without any polish on and returned later to have another nail tech complete the polish. Not sure why the wait is long, the nail service is not the greatest. Be prepared to fight for parking since the corner area of the shopping center holds about 6 parking spots and most of the technicians are appointment only. If you do decide to go be prepared to wait an extremely long time if you have not made an appointment, also quickly sign in or else other people waiting will be seated on assumption that they have signed in. Smdh, long wait along with horrible service. Not only are there only 3 people working there on a Saturday, they're slow and not very good at all. On two occasions after a fill-in my gel nail broke they very next day. My last trip there.... When I noticed the nail technician was doing a bad job shaping and filing my nails, I pointed it out and tried to tell him how I wanted them done to prevent them from looking a mess. He said, "I know I know" and continued to file my nails until my fingers were damn near bleeding. I had to stop him during the fill in and not let him finish. I walked in with nails and walked out with nubs. They looked horrible. I ended up going to another shop to have them repaired with a full set.Read Less
