went to get my nails removed . A simple process that shouldn’t have taken more than 15-30 minutes . My hands were left soaking in acetone for almost 2 hours . I received the worst pedicure I’ve ever had in my life today. The polish was all over the side of my nails, two of my nails were only half painted, and the technician used the cheese grater style skin removal on the bottom of my feet....without smoothing out the skin. Don't go to this shop, they are thieves.  I took my 3 year old granddaughter to get her nails done and it cost $5.00.  The next day I went to use my credit card and couldn't find it.  Retracted my steps to this shop and they had my card and charged $100.00 on it, as well as the $5.00 charge (2 separate charges at two different times).  The manager (Tony) asked me to bring a copy of my bank statement to the shop so that they can reimburse me; however, upon picking up my credit card, he tells me that he has to check the tickets (as if they can't generate a $100.00 ticket).  Ridiculous and will be reported.  Zero starts to this shop. The worse manicure experience ever! This I got done Tuesday and went back Wednesday before thanksgiving to get corrected and it's still a mess. Just had the worst manicure I've ever had. I'm so sad because I really wanted to like this place. The woman that worked on my nails basically just rushed the whole thing. This was the worst pedicure I ever had! If I could give 0 I would. Smh sighs Do Not go to Tom!!! It SHOWS that doing nails isn't his passion. I got a pedicure today and will be going to my normal nail shop tomorrow to get my toes redid.  A waste of money. Tom had to redo my gel color because once the color was put on my nails it showed to be a total different color than the the one in the bottle. When I asked Tom to do it over, he was originally going to charge me $30. Instead  he put another gel color on top. I was rushed while looking for a new color, as he advised me that he had other things to do. My toenails still need to be filed EVENLY and my GEL is already lifting and peeling. When I first started going to this shop - it was a jewel. I've been an avid customer for about 2 years. I thought they were the cleanest and the most cordial establishment on this side of southern Maryland. But, I was wrong - the first disappointment was waiting for a long time before someone got to me - and they never did. Waited for 35 minutes - too long to wait as far as I'm concerned. Second visit I even waited longer. 43 minutes and I witnessed one of the technician using the same gloves from a previous customer on a new customer. At that point I was truly done. I just left this place with no service rendered. I went in for a pedicure was told to sit at a station to soak. I sat at this station soaking until the spa cut off automatically and the water was almost ice cold. When I inquired as to when I can expect service I was told "I was next". After giving a bit more of time I asked this same young lady for a towel. She politely gave me a towel and allowed me to walk out. A solid 45 minutes later I wasn't acknowledged by anyone and certainly wasn't offered a beverage that I observed many other patrons enjoying. Salon looks nice but the service and skill of the technicians - not so much. Tried this place out three times and still not happy. First time got a gel manicure and pedicure. Polish on my hands was super thick - in fact the nails all together were too thick (got 5 tips and acrylic). Figured I would give it another try and went last week for a fill and French gel manicure. It was ok but when I looked closely at my nails, I saw a lot of mistakes. Within a week, two nails chipped so I went in today for a repair. Woman at front said repair would be free. I then asked how much to change polish. She says $8. I said ok not getting gel - just regular polish. She still said $8. In my head, I'm thinking that's a great price so instead of repairing the 2 chipped nails for FREE, I opt to change the color. After that, I got my eyebrows waxed. When it's time to pay, the tell me $25 and I'm like no it's $18 (10 for wax and 8 for polish change).Then they say well it was $5 to take gel polish off. Now I don't have a problem if that's what it cost but I was told it was $8. They said yes but that didn't include taking it off. So how am I supposed to get the polish changed if you don't take it off?? My issue isn't the price, it's that I wasn't told the full price from the beginning. Had I known it would be $13 to take off gel and change color, I would've opted to just repair the two chipped nails for free. So I paid my $18 and left. That's my last time going..and it's such a waste bc the salon looks nice and is on my neighborhood. But their prices are WAY TOO HIGH for me to ever leave dissatisfied. She didn't clean the sides so I have red nail polish all over the place. I will try again and try someone different. Especially since it is close to my home. When I got there, the person that was supposed to do my nails had just started on someone else, which means my appt. time meant nothing. Not to mention the prices are EXTREMELY HIGH! I was very disappointed today. I had an appointment with Sherry. In my experience, there is no point in ever making an appointment because nobody keeps them. I ended up waiting 35 minutes for her to finish somebody else before she started mine. Literally walked out of this place in tears. Customer Service is non existent, this place always tells you it's a 10min wait time which always turns into 45min. Today one of their techs literally ignored everything I told him, I kept saying I have a hang nail don't cut my cuticles but continued to do what he wanted to. I'm 100% sure it was a language barrier but that's not excuse.  He kept using the machine on my cuticles which then let me to bleed! Even after he cut me kept wanting to cut my cuticles. I have been to A LOT of nail salons and this by far is the best! I walked in around 2PM on a Sunday. I signed in and before I could sit down they called my name. Fast! My pedicure was delicately done and beautiful. I was offered a drink before I even sat in the Pedicure chair and the Mimosa I was given was really good! The same gentleman that did my pedicure, also did my gel acrylic fill in. He also did that delicately and beautiful! I was in and out of there in under an hour. This place has been a back up to my usual salons in DC. If I am in Maryland on the weekends and need service I will stop in. I never really leave being 100% satisfied more irritated than anything. Take today for example...I get my pedicure, the color was amazing but the polish was watered down which made me have to ask for three coats. Then I get my gel mamicure....I am not sure if the issue was I had to be done by 4:15 and it was 3:30 or if everyone had appointments (I was a walk in). The guy who did my pedicure started my manicure, then for polish passed me off to a lady who rushed. They had one gel machine so I am switching hands back and forth. All while she ia rushing to get to her next pedicure. My nails look horrible, I have to file them because they weren't filed smoothly, and the polish job is too thick...full of air bubble...and strings from the cotton balls. That's it, three strikes and you're out!!! I even had to call to see exactly how much each service was because my receipt didnt state it. Reading the past few posts is quite surprising- My review is based on my own experience, not taking away from anyone else's. Not only is this place CLEAN, but the service is amazing. Nick always has my nails looking beautiful!... I try to schedule my appointments to make sure I keep a minimal wait time, and the services offered are moderately priced. The ambiance is light years away from your "typical" nail shop. You can forget about the strong chemical smells and dusty air when walking into this place. This is particularly important for customer with breathing concerns. Looks fancy but it's a typical nail salon don't be fooled. The wait is ridiculous I came for a full set Saturday it's now Monday and have a broken nail that just fell off too easy. Sloppy work and very overpriced. Now here for a nail fix it shouldn't take a hour of waiting to repair 1 nail that shouldn't have came off in the first place! After over an hour of waiting to fix 1 nail it took another hour to actually get fixed! The nail tech which i think was the owner kept getting up doing everything but my nail! Rediculous! Been here twice both times the pedicure water was luke warm even though I asked them to make it hotter. The staff is aggressive and they don't understand simple request. I usually don't write reviews but I felt compelled to give a shot out to nail technician Nick at Rejuvenate Nail Salon. He did a SNS manicure for me and my nails look great. I came at 7:30 and the salon closes at 8:00. I was expecting a quick job that looked decent but Nick was so professional and kind. He not only cleaned up the mess from the last nail salon, he did a fantastic job and took his time to make sure my nails were done with quality. Go see Nick or his wife. This salon is great, they certainly went the extra mile on putting the customer first. The little touches like the raised cushion to support your leg while getting a pedicure demonstrate that, along with purse hooks every where :) They offer complimentary drinks during the pedicure including mimosas and green tea, however the Styrofoam cup the tea arrived in really let that experience down. I've been there 3 times and twice I've had to wait 30 minutes for my treatment, despit...e having an appointment early in the day, I don't normally mind waiting but this place has no waiting area, so you feel like you are in the way and 30 mins is too long to wait for pre booked appointment. On one occasion the owner and receptionist were on the phone to a service company discussing a broken machine and the whole conversation was on loud speaker and very loud! Now it is very rare that I try a new nail salon, not unless I have to, but I was feeling adventurous yesterday and BADLY needed my eyebrows done, so I picked Reju to be my random salon of the day. Just from walking in, I was instantly relaxed; Reju is so mellow, clean, and calming. They had soft music playing in the background and the woman in the front was so sweet, and not yelling at me like, "What you want honnnaay, pick your color". Thank you, Jesus! They just opened three weeks ago and the place looks great! Very modern & even their pricing menu is super professional! Welp, since it was so nice, I was instantly curious, so I decided to extend my visit and added a pedicure to my list of services. The prices are a bit up there and not as affordable as my other "go to" salon, BUT the service is incredible & worth every penny. There was a bit of a wait for 3PM on a Monday, but there were also only three people working at that time, so I understood. I suggest making an appointment rather than walking in, just so you can be seen right away. Fifteen minutes later, I was lead to the back where the pedicure stations were and my oh my, was I impressed. There were about 15 pedicure chairs in the back; the chairs were insanely comfortable and they have disposable liners/bags in the soaking tub for your feet, for each individual customer. You have no clue how happy that made me! It felt so good knowing my little toes weren't being exposed to prior customers crust and corn residue. Yay, for cleanliness! The man giving me a pedicure was super sweet and accommodating; he didn't speak much but he was very friendly when he did.  Now, here is my favorite part, they serve complimentary wine, tea, and water for customers receiving service! Heck yeah! So you know I had to ask him for some wine, mmm hmm; it was very tasty! My overall pedicure was amazing! It was super relaxing & I felt pampered, which was wonderful!!! Now to the eyebrows. "Oh lord, please don't let her mess my eyebrows up, or have me walking out this place with one missing"....I had to say my little pray beforehand. I feel like every time someone new does my eyebrows, I have a mini panic attack. Ha, ha.
