I was referred to this shop by my daughter. Best service ever. I watched how well they clean their equipment and that did it for me. Their customer service is out of this world. Your feet and hand will leave very happy. Will definitely be back.

I only gave the two stars because my pedicure and toe polish turned out perfectly! When I came into the salon, the nail tech rushed me to pick a color and sit down. I showed her a picture of exactly what I wanted (coffin shaped ombre nails), which she barely looked at, and told me she could do it and that it would cost me $41, which was EXTREMELY high for me considering I had gotten the same thing done somewhere else for only $37. Nonetheless, I decided to give her a try. I s...at down in the pedicure chair, and got my pedicure done by someone else while the original tech worked on my fingers. First, she shaped my nails ALL WRONG. (I asked for a coffin shape and they turned out really thick and really crooked) then, when she began to polish, she started with the wrong color, and when I asked her if she would get the RIGHT color for the ombre, she told me it would be an extra $5 for two colors... Even though I originally showed her EXACTLY what I wanted and she gave me a price that I had agreed to! Then she "finished" but my nails had NO ombre and looked NOTHING like the photo I brought in, and what she did do was very sloppy and rushed. I showed her the photo again (for the 5th time since I had walked in) and she said that she could do it over but it would cost me an additional $20! (She also said that she didn't do it correctly because she didn't think that I could afford it, which was very rude and very discriminatory. ) I politely paid her and walked out! I would not recommend this shop to anyone!! And I would never return! See more

I got A regular polish. I didn't want gel nails because I needed to take the polish off the following week. My toes looked great but my fingernails looked very amateurish. The tech was very slow and I honestly had no time to sit with her and correct her work. The people here are polite and it appears that equipment is sterilized for cleanliness.

I asked if they had anyone who knew how to do ombre nails. They claimed that they did. The young lady proceeded to put clumps of white and pinkish powder on my nails that was not ombre at all!! I showed her a picture of what I wanted, and she gave me something that was not anything like what I showed her. I had to get the hack job covered with regular nail polish. The head lady, who seemed to speak the most English, said that it looked so bad because I selected the wrong colors. When the nail tech first started, she noticed that the color was wrong and recommended another color. I was going off of the techs recommendation. The acrylic was too thick, the application was awful and uneven, and my nails look like an elementary version of the coffin shape that I requested. I DO NOT recommend this shop under any circumstances.

Started going to Orchif nails after I found out they opened late since I could leave work and get there and get my nails done. Started getting dipping powder the first time Lily did it and the way my nails came out you would've thought a 2 year old did it not to mention how rough she filed my nails the sides were all cut up. They were coming off within days. Then Tommy said yeah it was bad let him do them. Each time he did them they would fall off except once when he used the... activator a number of times. Went back after they started falling off again for about the 5th time after he felt he didn't need to use as much product. The owner decided to do the liquid gel which held up pretty good. Went to have it refill and Tommy decided he wouldn't do it after I called and made arrangements to have it done. Then passed me off to Lily. When I nicely asked if someone else could do my nails as she was really rough. Tommy goes on to tell the staff something in their language and then said come back when the owner is here no one gonna do your nails. I was beside myself, after he had been messing my nails up for so long he was mad cause the owner addressed it. Will never go back there. See More

I just moved from NY a few weeks ago and was so sad to not have my go to nail salons near  me anymore =(I live in Silver Spring and work in DC.  I am looking for a nail salon in Maryland and/or DC to be my go to. Orchid Nails is NOT IT! I got a basic manicure and pedicure. Pedicure was decent. Manicure sucked! I got it done on Sunday. It is currently  Thursday night and the majority of  my manicured nails are chipped (hot mess!) The woman who did my mani and pedi was so soft spoken and easily angered when I asked her to repeat or did not want to do any of the "extras" (e.g., massage, spa pedicure)The only thing I  thought was nice and different about the manicure was that they dip your hand in warm candle wax which makes your hands so soft.On to the next salon....wish me luck!

Pheary is the best! I have been coming to see her (out of my way I might add) for at least 7 years. She gives regular manicures that look like gel. I still get gel. /c it lasts longer. I've tried other places but she is the best for ME. Thanks to Pheary for performing her trade well!!!

A little perturbed my nails were done by a novice. They're not bad just not to my level of perfection (bubbles in paint, not flawless on edges, glued tip on crooked then burned me with tool trying to get it off instead of soaking it off and she wasn't skilled in designs so I had her remove it. I would give 4 stars due to Lily who redid my feet perfectly. However I was asked to pay in the middle of my nails being done as if I was going to walk out with my chanel flats on. Piss...ed because the white client nx to me was not asked to pay. I've never been asked to pay before nails were done and I feel she did this because she knew I was getting frustrated and feared I wouldn't pay for her subpar service. Sweet girl she just can't do great nails. Again go there to see Lily only!! I would have her redo my nails but I have no time so I'll try them once more with Lily since she is the only one with great reviews on yelp! See More
