Im a 52 yr old female that has actually never written a review on google. Today is the day I speak up!! I have been going to Tina Nails for over four years. I leave a 25% tip every time. I came in without an appointment scheduled, which I'm sure can be upsetting. It's never been an issue in the past, but today it clearly was. Some folks seem to be oblivious as to when they are being talked about in front of their faces, but I am not. Its perfectly fine to speak your own language but don't use that angle to talk about a person in front of them. Not only is it rude, it is hurtful. When you are in tune with humans hand gestures, body language, eye rolls, and the rise and fall of their voice you don't need to know the exact words they are speaking to know they are being rude, hurtful, nasty, negative and unprofessional. When the owner asked a man to do my nails he literally gave me the once over with his eyes, huffed and told her he wasn't going to take care of me. They went back and forth about it while he continued to view my person with disgust and gaining the attention of all the other employees who were now all looking at me. I tried to gain my own eye contact with him while he looked all over my body but he would have none of it. He turned his back to us, put an unlit cigarette in his mouth and stared out the window for about 60 seconds while I adjusted myself to the horror that was taking place, and then walked outside to smoke it. I was mortified! Had my feet not already been in the water I would have walked out but I didn't want to cause any more of a scene that what had already transpired. I told them I could come back but ended up waiting for 30 mins with my feet in cold water for the owner to finish her customer. Went in on July 3rd because my main place was too busy. Got a gel fill that at my regular place would last three weeks, here nails broke within a week, the girl left them too long, barely spoke to me, and didn't blend them in. Went in for a pedicure, very nice people...clean. I would've liked the water in the basin to have been hot. I did ask her (as I had to wait a few minutes) and she did make it a little warmer. I would also have liked a better foot/leg massage. Read Less

Helen's Nails was great!!! I had a pedicure and then got a gel fill. They had to redo the gel fill that I had yesterday from Sassy Nails. I had a great experience there. They really care about the clients. They don't try to rush you around to wait on as many people as possible. They also provide a neck and back massage with a mani/ pedi!!!!Top Notch establishment.
